seems like we handicapped our TE's by putting them in the same position we would put our small quick recievers in. doesnt matter to much to the defense who is in the short/intermediate role if you know someone is going to be there. but if your not using your TE's to stretch the field, then it just makes it that much easer to contain the short intermediate routes. we'll see going forward if things evolve or if its still a flawed offense.

Tonight is one of the reasons I hate just shutting down when we get a decent size lead. yes u dont want injuries but its a good time to practice things, get some of our other wr involved that havent seen much play time. I just look at it like free time do get extra practice and time to fine tune some things.

maybe im not remembering correctly and im not entirely disagreeing with you about how you play lamar but the game we knocked him out..that was due to pressure. and it seems like we did that a lot that game.

THAT pretty much was the game in a nutshell.

a few pretty b.s actions that baltimore got away with. the nfl's desire to protect players is all over the place.

I feel like Babbich either thought we could get pressure with out blitzing or that our 2ndary would hold up. Feel like during half time McD probably said hey...time to do something different we have always played jackson blitz heavy before.

Actually I was going to mention that and then forgot. they showed it during one of the replays. i was shocked they didnt catch it or saying anything during the broadcast.

not sure why we decided to go all passive agasint baltimore to start out with. normally we bring house over and over, maybe because of henry..idk. but in the 2nd half we were gettin pressure and having results. do we have a D line?.... where was Ed? where was Von? I seen Groot in the run game but that was about it. some good plays from new comers and rooks on D. how is it no matter what we called....which its really hard to say because the camera never does a down field view most of the time, but few times it did... we had no one past the line of scrimmage. anyway.... no matter there was tight coverage yet our secondary left 10-15 yard cushions I thought the play calling looked a lot like Dorsey. some dirty plays from the Ravens. the fingers to the eyes of kincaid and then humphries slamming josh way after he had gotten rid of the ball. I thought that should have at least...at the least...been a penalty.... (thanks brady for that play) Maybe the 0-line can quit reading its own press clippings and get to work because they got their ass kicked today. way to many free runners coming after Josh. All in all bad coaching, maybe they took baltimore to lightly during the week. I'm Glad this happened early in the season. Its a good wake up call to players and coaches. wake up and get your ***** together. Anyone that says if you have a good offense you dont need any window dressing...i call b.s. So many of the Ravens offensive play calls had some type of twist or misdirection or something to get it just a little bit of an edge and it worked. Hopefully Brady didnt get Allen killed and he will be ok next week. Final thoughts... Bean should get taken to the woodshed for rolling with Bass..I dont care how much history he has with the team..his leg is done. might as well just designate some player to play back up qb and have an extra player take trubisky spot...he's worse at qb than bass is as a kicker.

the way this offense is set up, your either getting the ball or your blocking or/and being window dressing. the hard thing for defenses to figure out is who is getting the ball and who is window dressing because every wr/rb is interchangable. you can have the same play and every time its a diff person getting the ball and everyone else rotates as window dressing. there in lies the beauty of the scheme.

whats a topoc...asking for a friend.. thanks for bringing this up...people should focus on the title..its about the qb..mahomes vs allen not the bills vs kc. last i checked josh not play defense..josh does not calll the defensive or offensive plays. josh does not run out there and catch his own football. While josh does run the ball he is not the rb. there is a ton of things goin on in a game that josh does not control and this is not about those things.

they all want the ball..sure... what dont see near as often is them undermining the team and the qb. you might see it more with players frusted on bad teams with a bad qb but rarely on a good team with a healthy locker room.

petty awesome to see shakir above all these big name and very good to elite receivers.

a few things ive noticed this year....especially last game, about Josh. ball placement has been excellent in general and for yac. he's getting the ball out faster. against jax i was really impressed how quickly he was getting rid of the ball. the last part is not only is he getting rid of the ball quicker but he's reading the field and brady is actually giving him an outlet player that isnt in his hip pocket, of which he has been utililzing.

and hardy looked great but then i believe he got injured and ended up odd man out.

After Diggs left minny he said the writing was on the wall. a new coaching staff came in..they wanted to change the process to more of a run oriented game plan. This took away from the "its all about me theme? that Diggs lives by. When Diggs came to buffalo Daboll was all about throwing the ball and as things progressed I think Daboll went into a shell and expected Josh to do everything, we were throwing the ball on every down most games almost for a while. This was a euphoric for someoene like Diggs. But once again once things wernt going diggs way he started to pull back and rebel. Diggs has always been a me first player. This is not to say that he isnt (wasnt) a great player but he's not a poster child for putting the team first. I think once Daboll left it was more of battle getting the same focus from Ken Dorsey, plus Dorsey wasnt the play caller that Daboll was. So diggs once again was starting to read the writing on the wall and by the time Brady arrived he was in full Minny mindset all over again forcing a team to trade him. Diggs is a total narcassist who constantly undermined the team with his passive agressive actions on social media.

so i was reading an article today that said bishod did play over edwards against jax and that it looks like he is the penciled in starter over edwards now

not sure how cole bishop is progressing but his size and speed would come in handy

and how cinci beat kc or...mcD is getting more out of the team and his coordinators without having to call the D

the better josh plays the more stat wise he's going to get limited as tonight and last week....(or the better the bills play) i was trying to remember if tom brady ever came out early regardless of the score.
