Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston
Figster replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It does sound reasonable although If your the team making the trade does it go from badly managed to train wreck. Watson can still turn the destination down making this a harder nut to crack IMO. I think this is a great opportunity for the right team. Dome or fair weather teams need apply IMO. (The Jets would not be my 1st choice If I'm Watson) Is this meant to entice the fish? -
Doing it with a football shows amazing athleticism and arm strength IMO.

How Allen will Work to become a better QB
Figster replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Simply repeating what you posted (With the same back, and (for starters) most of the same OL) My point remains the same. Not checking down or turning to a TE security blanket is due in part to the lack of confidence IMO. Lack of confidence from Daboll and or Allen probably both IMO. Agreeing with you on practice makes perfect doesn't change my point IMO. You have shades of elite in the WR corp. You have middle of the pack at best RB's. Below average TE's Myself personally, Brandon Beane can help fix the disparity IMO. -

Its whatever you choose to make it. I can't control how other people think or formulate opinions.I think its a circular argument until you upgrade the position. Oline hasn't changed. You help make my argument for me. How good was Buffalo's O last season in comparison to this season? -

On the one play, no , its not fair. By way of argument in understanding why Allen lacks confidence on the other hand. A good example IMO. I also think to run the football better more of an emphasis does need to be put on the run game in practices and game planning. The thing is nobody knows these guys better then Daboll and Allen IMO. The fact that they don't place as much of an emphasis on running or using TE's is because its at the bottom of the list by way of what Buffalo excels in IMO. The athletes themselves are partly responsible for this lack of confidence IMO. -

Yes, I consider both to be security blankets IMO. Allen lacks confidence in both positions IMO. The same could be said for Daboll IMO. -

Singletary falls flat on his face in what should have been a big gainer. Oline had zero to do with it. Like Singletary Knox drops footballs. Good TE's don't drop footballs. Good luck you say on drafting the next Kelce? How about good scouting and the right amount of attention on a postion that increases Buffalo's physicallity in the passing game that is long over due. Allens ball distribution appears to coincide with the the amount of confidence Allen gains by the individual achievements of each receiver. Something an intelligent QB would naturally do IMO. The way I see it Hapless fixing the problem requires an upgrade in Allens security blankets IMO. -

Big fan of Milano. I can't however place his value over Edmunds or Tre White. ( at one point in time I did think differently) From a draft perspective White is the easiest to replace IMO. Edmunds would be the hardest IMO. -

Thanks for this, Can we pls not evaluate Milano's career or worth to the Buffalo Bills football team on his inability to cover Kelce... -

Myself personally, I think its important a team keeps the core group of players that it deems most valuable to avoid regression. I put Milano in the top 3 MVP on D IMO. -

Get better around Allen starting with the TE position. If you want to beat the K C Chiefs Buffalo needs to get more physical. Use the Andy Reid football team like a blueprint. Buffalo needs a Kelce. To me this should be Buffalo's top priority. Josh Allen is intelligent with the drive and the tenacity it takes to become a champion IMO. Allen will continue finding ways to hone his craft IMO. Buffalo needs to continue upgrading the team around him. Najee Harris is the next best thing you can do for Allen IMO. Myself personally, you can't keep swinging and missing at the RB position. Hit the home room. -
Should NFL Adopt 3rd Place Game Week Before Super Bowl?
Figster replied to Dr.Sack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why does this idea sound intriguing to me? I'll tell you why. Rewarding teams for doing bad ends up putting elite players on poorly managed football teams IMO. Why not reward the better managed teams the one player that gets them over the top.Creme of the crop going to cellar dwellers I think in many instances is a miss use of the worlds best athletes coming out of college IMO. Generally speaking, the Idea of rewarding well managed teams with better players has merit in my humble opinion. -
I said: Now listen, guitar, What you're tryin to do? People will think I'm crazy, if they see me talkin to you .! He said: What's that you say? I said: You'd better hold your tongue.! Now it started like a thinkin, I wasn't stoned nor drinkin, when, I swear, I heard that guitar say: My daddy was a Gibson, my mama was a Fender, thats why they call me, mind bender, mind bender, thats my name It was a mind bending thing...

Yeldon on the other hand in just one small dose, playing in the biggest game of his life gave you the feeling of lightning in a bottle ready to get uncorked and strike. Also made one of the hardest catches of the day IMO.
-
Myself personally, T J Yeldon is the best horse in Buffalos stable. Experienced, drafted higher then both Singeltary and Moss. A very good all purpose back that better fits the Daboll/ Allen high powered passing O with size and WR catching abilities coming out of the back field. Its a no brainer right? think again. Not when you have new regime draft picks stacked in front of you. I think one of the harder aspects of managing a pro sports team is knowing when to cut your losses and move on. To players like Najee Harris, resign Yeldon. (Moss is a keeper) Go bama!, Lets go Buffalo!!!

Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston

I've got no problem standing up for our QB. I wouldn't trade Josh Allen for the world. The mans perfect for Buffalo. Buffalo's perfect for the man. Comparing stats and wins relative to the teams they play for by way of argument is where I take issue. I'm fairly certain Watson would perform well in the Daboll O. I can also see Watson taking the Bills into the playoffs and winning a couple games. So for me we are looking at two elite, or borderline elite QB's. Deshaun Watson is one smooth operator behind center IMO. I think something everyone needs to remember though in comparison to any QB in the history of the NFL. Josh Allens arm strength. Allens arm strength gives him the ability to make throws no other QB can make. Something by the way Watson pales in comparison. This thread is more about Deshaun Watson. For the sake of argument. -

True Although isn't it reasonable to think If you swaped QB's the numbers and win/loss might be similar? -

Saying Watson is better then Allen goes to far. On the other hand really good QB, borderline elite IMO You just don't see an opportunity like this very often... -

If I'm Houston I take Tua in the trade. Hire Chan Gailey as HC. Fitzy as OC.
