  1. Tuel and Peterman are leagues apart IMO.
  2. I agree, most rookies are not ready to start, but Peterman stood out to Gruden as the most NFL ready rookie he has coached up in years. To me its about the best compliment you can get from a former NFL coach in my humble opinion.
  3. I've watched enough deer in the headlights raw rookies to know Peterman is already showing subtle attributes well beyond his years.
  4. I believe the poster was saying you can't be afraid of ruining Peterman by starting him. Its become the norm now to start promising rookies just like Buffalo will press to start the one they draft next year vs another wasted season. The window to evaluate Peterman is small...
  5. The writting is on the wall for Taylor and his future with the Buffalo Bills in my humble opinion my friend. I don't think it even matters how well T T plays...
  6. Well you know I'm not one of them JM and identify Taylor as a good game manager/serviceable. I just feel like Peterman has a small window of opportunity to show what he can do and it might be smart looking long term for Buffalo to use it. with all due respect my friend
  7. I agree vote split right down the middle ,but half of us are stupid ...
  8. and Taylor does?
  9. To me AFL you can also destroy a kid by never giving him a chance to develop with the proper amount of game starts the same way EJ was handled. If Buffalo drafts a 1st rounder at the QB position in next years draft in all likelihood the rookie signal caller will start. Buffalo can gauge T T ceiling something most will agree on, Peterman on the other hand is a complete unknown, untested rookie already showing attributes well beyond his years. I'm a huge T T fan Old Timer, but this Nathan Peterman fella screams I'm ready now.
  10. I don't think they make them any tougher then T T
  11. Again, I understand where your coming from and have been a big supporter of T T from day one. The problem I have is T T's ceiling is known for the most part and Taylor in all likelihood playing his last season in Buffalo. Peterman is NFL ready and could be the biggest steal of the draft. Do you honestly think Buffalo will draft a QB in the 1st round next year and not begin his development (starting) immediately?
  12. I get where your coming from, but T T's ceiling is becoming more apparent and the high scoring O from the last two seasons was accomplished mainly by running the football. If Buffalo drafts a QB in the 1st round next year the window to evaluate Peterman is small in my humble opinion.
  13. With all due respect Alpha, but doesn't it tell you something when a rookie appears to execute a newly installed O better then experienced QB 's that have been in the league for years? When Nathan Petermam walked off the field last night the BIlls were ahead having scored the only TD drive by the ones throughout the the playoffs against one of the best D's in the league. (IMO)
  14. Like a roaming herd of Buffalo (mangy beasts) looking for greener pastures, SDS does greener pastures...
  15. Its amazing how much Bills fans have in common.
  16. Jon Williams disagree's with you. Regardless of what McD is saying I'm of the mind the Buffalo Bills will pay careful consideration to any reasonable trade offers regarding any player on the Bills roster IMO.
  17. The Bills have two QB's now that despite being drafted in the later rounds could possibly go on to become legit starters in the NFL in my humble opinion. The difference between them is one QB has had enough play time to gauge an approximate ceiling while the other signal caller we have barely scratched the surface on.
  18. The example was in an extended 18 game season vs wild card matchups in an extended playoff format. ( 3 - 13 doesn't make the playoffs)
  19. I like expanding the playoff format over extending the regular season to avoid meaningless games. example 13 - 3 team matched up with a 3 - 13 team (18 game regular season) vs 2 wild card teams at 9 - 7 and 8 - 8 (expanded playoffs)
  20. I think players reached this point already with the Watkins trade.
  21. Myself personally, I'm open to the possibility we could win football games with Peterman behind center.
  22. If Watkins could be had for a 2, I'll say 3rd or maybe 4th rounder Its based on the events leading up to now, including the good play of rookie/most NFL ready/ Peterman(IMO) As far as who, probably someonne wanting to make a Championship push and want insurance at the QB position. All pure speculation on my part of course...
  23. I have a sneaky suspicion if the right offer comes along Taylor will be sent packing, touche
  24. I'm not sure starting Peterman would be looked at as a tank move.
