  1. I heard TT likes to audible at the line...Down,set....Blue 42,Blue 42,Blue...set,,,Cheese! Score!!
  2. ahh, another bash Whaley thread. How refreshing.people complain when we"win" the offseason, complain when we lose the offseason, just to complain.
  3. Given the amount of players under contract on this roster,Id say its obvious we continue to add to it. Regardless of our cap space,Im pleased with the additions so far.6 signings by the end of day one FA was a bit aside from the normal OBD dust settler signings. We had reasonable targets, and we were able to sign them. And were not done yet...
  4. what makes him stupid? Or a cheater? He's young still.Other than his suspension, which led to him being out of shape, how is he unreliable? Or selfish? And he is absolutely not a "cancer" to this team. Although,he better shape up,or he could very well ship out. I'm gonna watch this new staff before I think he's a lost cause in Buffalo
  5. Wow,I'm surprised. Watching him it looks like he has decent zip on the ball, when he wants to.Also didn't realize Webb threw that hard. Thanks for the info
  6. so,Hyde is poor at times, playmaker at times? Gotcha. Over the past two seasons,Hyde has 113 Tackles,2 Sacks, and 6 Ints. That's not poor, especially considering he was not a full time starter. Also, being as versatile as he was,he had different assignments on a regular basis. In comparison, Graham had 101 more Tackles,2 Sacks, and 3 Ints as a full time starter. And we won't look at AW's numbers for obvious reasons. Hyde can play
  7. I hope we can keep him. Good versatility, young, cheap. I'm thinking they would try him at RT if they can't upgrade some other way,and still use him anywhere else a sudden need came up
  8. his TEAM had a playoff birth,in a division annually up for grabs. Let's be real, he didn't play Brady twice a year
  9. he did address QB. I've not seen a "lousy" draft yet. Not stellar, but lousy? Dareus contract would be just fine,if he'd not be lazy n smoking pot. TT contract while seemingly bad,was reworked to suite the team. That's not horrible. And he does seem to land quality guys in FA. I'd agree,he's better than given credit for. Still room for improvement tho
  10. just to throw it out there,an article from PFF after week 5 last season ranked AW a whopping 40.1While stating that he struggled in coverage and was late to help over the top a couple of times, allowing a 28 yard reception as the primary cover man. And he also missed two tackles. He wasn't that good
  11. Say Whaaaatt?? AW a top ten,or even a top 5 safety in this league? I liked him ok,but he was neither a ball hawking safety, nor a solid tackler. How many times have we seem him throw himself into a ball carrier, only to see them keep runnering for yards? For what it's worth,McD said he was let go for strictly football reasons. That's agreement enough to my point. That was crazy to say...top 5 safety smdh lmao
  12. again...NOT the question! I asked if he was worth it for US
  13. thanks for your input, but I was asking the cover1 guy for his thoughts. That said,I have a hard time believing he is a lesser player than AW. I've not been a fan of Aaron's play for the last few years, although I realize he had health issuesHe did mention tackling in his assessment, and went on to say we "got a hell of a player on our hands"
  14. was that a good price for US to pay for his services? That's the question, not wether or not he was worth that money for the Pats...
  15. I'd also like to point out that NOBODY has said that Darby is a lock for being our starter on team come opening day...
  16. Also,we've seen the Pats overpay for some of our other FA's as well. Was anybody here willing to give Hogan that kind of money? At that price,it didn't fit our needs or scheme. Neither did Gilmore's price.just my opinion of course
  17. fair enough. My point tho is,we didn't need his skill set at that price to run a zone scheme.
  18. Hyde is versatile. Tackling may need improving, but AW certainly wasn't a tackling machine either. And I said nothing about Darby, just that we can replace Gilmore in the draft
  19. do you think he upgrades the position compared to Aaron Williams, whose health is in question?
  20. Hyde might just be an upgrade over AW. Gilmore is not a top 5 CB. While he was good,he didn't deserve 14mil a year.We have the draft to replace him,and if we get one that can actually tackle,it'll be yet another upgrade...imo. We don't necessarily need another "lock down" corner to play in a new zone scheme. It'll be rough to start a rookie, but we'll be ok,I think
  21. Yup,he is very versatile. Good measurables, speed, tackling. I like that he can blitz as well. Solid pickup Bills! I expect him to be a leader the secondary instantly
  22. Vlad has played both guard spots. And I'm thinking he's the new swing guy. Recently signed Groy has experience at all Oline positions, maybe it's him that gets a chance at RT?
  23. ^this is true. Reports were swirling that IF released,Cle and others were to show interest.which may be tampering in its own somehow?? But the fact remains,he wasn't a FA so no teams could make offers
  24. I should have been more specific. She would look good in any one of MY jerseys lol
