It is interesting though that the results and stat lines, nature of games and limited offense are all pretty much similar between 2017 and 2018 QBs.

I guess what gets folks hyped is the assumption that things are just meant to develop greater.

    we shall see.

Last year we had 17.4 1st downs per game, 302.6 yards per game, and 18.9 points per game.

This year since Allen came back from injury we have 21.5 1st downs per game, 355.5 yards per game, and 19.5 points per game.

The offense is improving largely due to Allen's contributions. More importantly this is just his floor and he is showing steady progression.

I think people are overall more pleased with this garbage season over last years playoff season.  Weird ha?

Because by the end of last year Tyrod proved we didn't have a franchise QB, and by the end of this year it's starting to look like we might. Which is far more important than one year sneaking into the playoffs.

The passes to Galladay were no where near as difficult as the one to Zay.

Lol! Golladay literally ripped the ball out of Levi Wallace's hands, and caught another deep pass while White was interfering with him. Zay had a pass hit him in the hands a tiny bit over his head.

Not to play devils advocate but the one he dropped over the middle today was more on Allen than him.  Yes it hit his hands but the throw was much higher than it should have been.  Zay has definitely been a disappointment but I really think only the elite receivers would have caught that ball.

Wow... watch some other NFL offenses. Golladay caught 3 different passes today that were more difficult than anything Zay dropped. Golladay is not elite, just a pretty good NFL receiver.

He has shown flashes, but few and far between. Foster appears better right now . Jones has certainly underperformed his draft status to this point overall.

I haven't even seen flashes. I mean he has caught some passes but has he made one next level play? He misses routine plays and hasn't made a single great play. I'm done with him.

Speaking of hills to die on, do you ever add anything of substance or just attack other people's opinions? Anyone being objective would say Allen looks good, but that the Cardinals are the biggest mess in football. It's amazing that any negative Allen has is his supporting cast but with Rosen It's all his fault. You can really like Allen's progress and dislike the comparison.

Rosen was supposed to be the pro-ready QB. I just find it ironic he is performing the worst out of all the rookies and more excuses are made for him than anyone. The pre-draft narrative with Rosen was that he would step right in and produce, and the only worry was that he had already reached his ceiling. Turns out he has a ton of work to do and maybe being a statue in the pocket doesn't translate in the NFL.

O-line looked it's best yet.  Allen had lots of time often.

They have to draft a feature back this off season.  McCoy couldn't be more done...

I've been saying all year the offensive line could use improvement, but the biggest thing we're missing is a reliable WR and TE. Croom had one of our best catches of the year today and for most other offenses that is just a normal play evey week.
