  1. I can't believe how much time schopp and the bulldog are wasting talking about this. I can't think of anything in the world of sports that people would care less about. Are these guys kidding? Who cares if someone likes them or not. Wtf are we doing here? Bills are on the field this week practicing and they are spending an hour on a jersey for a game that nobody outside of the stadiun will watch
  2. when everyone kept saying we signed 2 FBs, most people on here realized Tolbert would be a HB. And when we lost Gillislee and people were concerned about vet depth behind shady, most people that I saw on here felt like Tolbert would be the 2. That's why I wasn't really worried about it. He is a good player
  3. Who didn't already expect him to be the 2?
  4. Shady is the 1 legit blue chip offensive skill position player this team has had since the 90s. Crazy how under appreciated he is on here. We have 1 player on this team that is an unquestioned star and isn't all just potential. A guy who has actually done something in this league. You can go weeks without hearing a word about our actual superstar, yet see 10 posts a day on kolby Listenbee. Sad when you really think about it. Great job Shady
  5. Make one about the fans who pay thousands of dollars each year to a team that hasn't made the playoffs in a dogs lifetime. The out of towners who drive hours each way to watch the games and spend thousands over time on direct tv Sunday ticket. The lifers who Spend hours each day on the message boards and the wgr app and follow the team like they are a family member. Only to be embarrassed each and every Sunday of each and every season...Yet still somehow through it all, get themselves back up to do it all over again. The fans still standing through an inexcusable era or disgraceful football. Finding ways to reinvent futility, in a league built on parody. Make a doc on those Bills fans. Not the ones throwing people through tables and most likely, not even watching the game. Bills fans deserve better then what we get. Some day it will all be worth it, but until then...it sucks.
  6. We are past the point of this being upsetting if we somehow blow it. Maclin makes this offense very interesting. If Tyrod can't spread the ball all around the field with these weapons...then we will know all we need to know about him. It also would be nice to have another playmaker incase Tyrod struggles and Yates has to play. Yates will find the playmakers, wether it's pretty or not.
  7. I would give up pretty much anything they would want. If we got Rivers, nothing would bother me once the terms were announced. It would be an after thought
  8. I mean, what would really be the harm in bringing him to camp? He's probably better then the last rv currently on the roster. As sad as it is, he might be better then our current #2 lol. Let him go to camp, you can always cut him if it's all gone. Give him a chance to retire as a Bill the right way and maybe even play a preseason game. Let him suit up as the guy in the 4th preseason game. It would give some fans a reason to watch it
  9. Sign Byrd and let him play FS in a soft zone. Retire a Bill
  10. The only legit, blue chip, skill pos player the bills have had in the drought. Love Shady. A truly elite football player
  11. Become a full time slot WR like you should have been your whole career.
  12. i wasn't here at any point of the time I'm speaking. I came here after the BBMB shut down and have been nothing close to a Debbie downer. Must have me confused with someone else
  13. let's see how long that lasts. As long as it's not us, I could care less. I hope when we play them, somehow he has to play.
  14. Funny that I was a piraiah on the BBMB for saying that before it was cool. I fought tooth and nail with people about EJ. He was literally the worst QB in the league, but you couldn't tell that to half of that board. He was the most over protected player I can ever remember in a bills uniform. It was sad. The guy was out played by every QB on the roster, each and every year he was in buffalo. Thank god he is gone.
  15. I was really on the "not worried about losing Gillisle train," but the more time that passes...I kind of hope we add a vet RB. I'm starting to really think about how many injuries this team usually has. I'd like to see another RB brough in. One that has some starting experience. Just incase Shady misses a month or something.
  16. Moorman is the only player we have had (for a long period of time) in the drought that was top 3 at his position. Moorman is the only one I would put on there. Love Fred. But they tried to replace him every single offseason. And Fred was no where near an elite RB. Kyle is a great story, very nice player and extremely hard worker. Maybe some day for kyle.
  17. Tyrod will learn how to do it, or he will be siting on Sundays watching TJ Yates do it
  18. How many years are we away from just watching film and developing timing with some VR training system? Can we just skip to the point where we never actually practice? Maybe we can occasionally have a healthy team.
  19. he started with the Texans and won then lost in the 2nd round in a tough one to the Ravens. Wasn't his fault that they lost. I want to say that was the ravens Super Bowl year. Do you need him to have won more then 1 playoff game for this point? The Bills haven't won a single playoff game in the last 22 years.
  20. If it's truly a competition (which I doubt) Yates is going to push to start. Physically there is not comparison between Tyrod and TJ...but Yates does the things that Tyrod won't do. Take chances, put the ball in playmakers hands, get the ball out quick and on time and give the guys a chance to catch and run. Yates has started and won playoff games. He knows this offense and he knows what a professional QB is supposed to do on each play. I'm not saying he will start, but if the coaches give him a chance...he's going to make it a tough decision
  21. i mean, new coach, fired the GM, fired all the scouts, hired a new GM and some front office personnel, had the draft with a lot of trades, restructured a QB, coach won't commit to a starter at QB, Sammy's 5th year...there has been a ton to talk about. It's just not a place where people go hard after every thought. Not saying it's right, not saying it's wrong. Just saying it's not the same. This is a much more laid back place, which is probably a good thing most of the time. But let's not act like the offseason has been uneventful.
  22. I have been almost making this thread for 2 weeks but didn't want to be rude. I truly appreciate that there was another option and I appreciate the hospitality...but it's not the same. The Bills had no need to take that site down. They could have just left it and put the members in charge of doing the upkeep monitoring. It makes me sick that they took it away. I don't know how to even explain it, but I somehow feel like less of a fan without it. We were so plugged in to everything that was going on. I never went an hour without checking it. Now I feel so disconnected. The old members should just create it again the same just minus the Bills site affiliation. This place is close and in it's defense it is the offseason, but home is home. I have felt like it would be out of place to make this thread, but I'm glad someone else did.
  23. This offense is seeming to be a short pass, quick hitter, get the ball in a place for run after catch and get the ball into versitle playmakers hands underneath...that might not be the strength of Tyrod. But it might be the strength of some other Bills QBs. Obviously we will adapt to the players we have, I just picture something different then what Tyrod seems to want to do. I guess we will see what happens once the pads come on.
  24. TJ Yates has won more playoff games then the bills have in the last 21 years....I'm not saying he's going to win the job, but Yates is not bad. If Tyrod can't start to use the whole field or wants to tuck it and run whenever the play starts to break...Yates or Peterman may sneak up on him. when we handed EJ a starting job and purposely created no competition for it....Although that backfired because even the scrubs outplayed him when given a chance.
