I agree without the main cheating ingredient no dynasty. Billacheat took a late round QB and turned him into a HOFer. Scandals happened because of what the Billacheat was willing to do to win. IMO Brady needed deflated balls and the playbook of the other teams to make his success happen. Paid off refs by Billacheat the one that was the head of the officiating committee. Billacheat tells owner to pay Brady a standard starting QB contract but even it out by giving him money on the side so he remains happy with it so the team has money for other positions . Add some drugs to make Brady inhuman and Billacheat created the best QB ever. Without Billacheat Brady is nothing but a backup QB on another team if he is even that being such a late round pick .

Hey man I don't know about you but IMO fans are sick of rice crispys for dinner for the last 2 decades IMO we all want some prime top shelve steak. IMO I do not care what it costs, make it happen cause frankly what was spent made it happen even with it being a little over I was fine with it. Just saying

No team is as lucky as NE in finding a QB so late in the draft to take them to all those SBs so those stats are skewed. Bills haven't had a chance at a top QB from the draft in a very long time and sadly the only way up there is to trade up there. I do not care about other teams or any skewed stats to try to change my mind all I care about is how do we get up there to get one. Nothing matters but one of those top 3 IMO.

I would think fans would be more forgiving to a staff that went for it over a staff that tried to do what the last few decades have done, build around a backup QB and think it is going to end differently. They all got fired not going for it when it came to QB, play it safe but for a staff that went for it? I would for sure give them a high five and expect them back to clean it up and try again. That's the staff I want, one that will go for it, I am sick of the play it safe staff wishing for a lucky wild card of a season looking for a better QB every dam season. I want a QB to knock NE off the high horse. I want a dynasty and we can't have that without a big talent at QB.

I think I just wet myself in excitement of what it could feel like come draft night. Sadly I am ready for the disappointment of this not happening but man oh man it could it be so nice to be this happy.... Rosen a Bill

EJ Manuel could be the best in next years class it's so bad. Next year's class is not a option IMO, it is either this year or when we have a new staff in 2020 or 2021 if this staff fails to produce these next 2 seasons with a Cincinnati backup QB. IMO this draft either sets this staff up for the next 3 or 4 years or rips them down because of avoiding the most important piece to build around first.(QB) IMO a top drafted rookie QB this year will give them 2018-2019 easily with 2020 the goal to really have a breakout season but if they build the Whaley way of win now and avoid the QB position in round one I can see this staff losing flavor fast with fans. We will have a idea how good of a chance they have once the first night of the draft is over IMO since we should know who our starting QB should be in 2019.

How interested are you in Le'Veon Bell?

I'll take the Steelers

2019 has no QBs worth drafting at where we will be drafting so they only have this one shot at one otherwise this staff is banking it all on McC and Peterman for 2019, not good man for these guys sticking around to 2020 IMO. You build around a QB first and they already blew that idea in last years draft by taking late rounder Peterman. It's now or never for them IMO

Option 1. Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield Option 2. Rudolph Option 3. Late round QB pick, AKA Looking for a new staff for 2020 Option 4. AllenJackson, also known as looking for a new staff for 2020

Buffalo has a better chance at a playoff run without having timidrod on our team that's for sure. Cleveland is blind, IMO Darnold will take his job by midseason when fans see what Tyrod really is, just make him a QB and fail every staff. Tyrod will have problems getting a backup job after his fail in Cleveland. Only thing Tyrod is good at is holding a towel on his head and getting OCs fired. .
-
Tyrod is a backup and stinks. He is on a different team, deal with it. HotRod played more like timidrod. We made the playoffs because of AD, deal with it because it's the truth and you know it.

Worries will start in 19 when all they have to fall back on at QB is Peterman and some other late rounder like White. What did they really accomplish a lucky wild card? Luck happens every once in a while, relying on luck will get one fired. Until a QB is found does that one wild card game really matter. Color me very little inpressed. IMO this draft is the holy grail of a late rounder QB luck or a top 1st rounder making his first season start in 19. IMO 2019 is either fans giving this staff a free season because of rookie first season or fans shaking there heads as to why all we have is late rounder QBs still on the roster.
-
Thanks to Dalton and a few other teams because without that the wild card would have never happened on our record alone. It took decades for that miracle of the stars to line up perfectly once, I don't want to wait another 2 decades for a wild card to happen once. I want my team to have a dynasty of domination not the garbage of the past since Kelly wishing for that one miracle season of a wild card birth to happen with a backup QB as the starter. Sadly that no talent at QB gave us even less in that game, sorry not sorry I want more and a real talent at QB is what good teams have when every year playoff runs happen.
-
Hey 1st year we got a wild card birth so IMO I think they are locked in for 2018 and 2019 now but after that it could be the end for them or it could be the next step. IMO the QB will either make or break them and this draft will define those two years end result. Since it is looking more and more like they will be drafting a big project QB to sit around with the other big project I think if they don't hit another wild card in 2018 it will make 2019 a Chan G type ending. The 2019 draft has nothing for QBs that the Bills will be able to get let alone want. No team is going to get rid of any QB worth thinking they are franchise worthy so 2019 will be real tough for them since either they go all in on one of the 2 later round projects on the bench or stay with McC. If McC plays like Cinci's backup still IMO fans will be ready to move on to a new staff for 2020 that will hold QB in a higher regard.( We all expected this staff to hold QB in a higher regard and so far we had Rex QB and a late rounder year one and now we have another backup QB, late round Peterman and more then likely another late round QB) IMO this draft will either buy them time or will make that 2019 season very tough for them to get over the 3 year hump. Without this staff getting a real good talent at QB this year IMO will make them go down the drain pretty fast. IMO fans are sick of always using other teams backups as starters so the leash they are on will end up a short one fast. That could be fixed with drafting a top talent at QB this year that can give them new life in 2019 and another 3 seasons but sadly at pick 12 it is looking like they will be drafting a much later QB like Peterman and that's dangerous Chan G area of thinking a backup QB can do enough IMO . Sure they got lucky with a backup like Tyrod year one but let's not forget without Dalton we would have never got that wild card and year one would have been the same old type of playoffless season. IMO fans will know this staffs fate as soon as round one is done, to QB or not to QB is the question that will give most of the answers what 2019 will be IMO. #1 goal should be for 2018, get one of the top QBs because without one ready for 2019 this staff could be dead man walking.

In-Depth Breakdown of Lamar Jackson by Eliot Crist
xRUSHx replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You should do some homework, Jackson didn't run as much this last season because the coaches forced him to stay in the pocket because of how much he ran the previous season. Even in practice he would try to take off running and the coach called ball dead to make him do it over everytime he tried to run even if it was a sure running score. He is a running QB, last season was a anomaly because he will always fall back to the run, IMO, it is his game because of how electric of a runner he is and he knows it. As many as you say he is not a running QB double all the ones that says he it. Those toothpick legs are going to get snapped in the NFL IMO -

Rosen is a pocket QB while Jackson is out running around, once that QB leaves the pocket he is free game -

Sad that Watson already has a knee issue. Jackson's legs are skrony I would imagine he will end in the same fate as RG3, broken -
Smoke and mirrors is just a way OBD sells the fans they are going to get us a QB just to end up not getting one. They keep thinking a QB will fall in the draft to them, (if you dont count EJ a QB nobody wanted)it never happens because other teams make it happen. Sadly 22 is just as bad as 12 IMO if looking for a 1st round QB. Cleveland, (maybe Giants)Jets, Denver, Miami, Arizona in fact add in Pitt for Rudolph and 6 QBs will be gone before 22 and if teams do a little moving 5 could be gone before our 12th pick IMO. At 12 I just don't see them pulling the trigger on a QB anymore I think they are already getting ready to build around McCarPeterman. Maybe it's not that bad, maybe Cinci again can get us a wild card and we might score more then a FG in the loss of said playoff game.

Bills Aren't Necessarily Searching for THE Best QB
xRUSHx replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So far the plan is dumping players to replace players. Dumping some other teams backup QB to sign another teams backup QB. Sounds exactly like the last few staffs plan. -
Failures of the past... I know that is exactly what is doing it. Same old Bills. Until they do something different it's the same old failures of the past, we are talking decades here. Same old groundhogs day drafts. Decades of wishing for QB, draft a RB, wish for a QB draft a DT. Always have a roster that needs work more then addressing the QB the most important position in football. Why wish for a SB dynasty because all these guys are looking for is a wild card birth. I guess I feel if I expect the fail it won't hurt as bad come draft night.
-
Yeah man, I am ready for the disappointment of this staff from this draft. It's inevitable of the same old Bills. I do like the signing of McCarron, I like that Tyrod is gone but that was because I thought this staff was different and was going all in on moving up for a top 1st round talent at QB this year but sadly at 12 that is not going to happen. The longer they wait to try to move up will suggest to me that it will not happen and they are completey happy with another teams backup QB to build around.
-
I'm thinking they won't move at all anymore and won't even take a QB at 12. Round 3 QB is the earliest one taken I bet. Fans have been waiting forever for a top QB drafted by the Bills but sadly this again is not the year. I am starting to think this staff is no different then all the rest that have been here. I think they are fine with building around the backup QB(just like the last few staffs that were fired within 3 years). They are doing what the other staffs did, dump the last staffs backup starting QB just to sign another teams backup QB. Uncanny how all these staffs avoid the most important position in football. Next year we again will be hunting for a franchise worthy QB with none in sight. Sadly I do not see this staff sticking around past 2020 after this fail of avoiding a chance at a franchise worthy QB, I lost my excitement for this team just like every second year of these fired staffs that have been here. Why the hell can't we get a staff that holds QB in a higher regard. All these moves we all thought was for a QB and ends up nothing but Whaley wasted moves. I am ready to watch the draft just to have the same disappointment after round one, no QB taken.
