Probably how the Bills will be going after a QB
xRUSHx replied to maryland-bills-fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills have always used the country auction it's why we always get the bargain basement QBs, why throw it out OBD will make you a star. If they used the poker format of all in we would have had a franchise worthy QB here many years ago. -
Dude rookie QBs on the first season will have a bad game it happens. Add in reports of the team sabotaging, a big away game, add in the fact our old HC was on the other team and Peterman had a impossible hill to climb. If you held Tyrod in same dark light like you do Peterman you would see why so many fans are very happy Tyrod is long gone. Absolutely awful is how the COT does not want Peterman to succeed at all and have done all they can to trash on him for that one game while they continue to make excuses for the Tyrod. I am sure the COT would like nothing more then to see Peterman out the door like their saviorTT. Hey Scott, Tyrod is no longer here, haha, hey hey hey Goodbye. Time to close that church it was all make believe nonsense. Pitch forks have spoken and that era is now gone. Hey hey hey goodridence.

McDermott: NFL is a “drop-back league”
xRUSHx replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A big pocket QB, exactly what this team needs as a starter. Sounds like a big no to Jackson being drafted IMO and I am 100% supportive of the big pocket QB that will stand in the pocket and throw over the OMG I have to run Tyrod. -
IMO it was more then just one player that flopped on purpose that day. IMO it was done in respect of the old fired HC and Tyrod. I think playing our old HC that knew these players very well was able to give his new team a very large edge at what to do to exploit all his old players. IMO if Tyrod was starting the game Tyrod would have had one of his worst games ever as a starter, that team was pumped to pound on us. IMO McD did Tyrod a favor not starting him because IMO it would have been for sure Tyrods last game ever as a Bill. I do not judge Peterman on that game at all, rookies will have a real stinker game and to judge him on just that one game is way over the top by some fans IMO. IMO that game is forgotten for me when judging Peterman since it did not matter who was QB the team played flat and the old HC had the huge edge being at home also it was Petermans rookie season.

The Bills should be familiar with the kind of player Lamar Jackson can become. After 3 seasons of the Tyrod, I think they know very well what the end result is, no thanks

No he is now under contract for 2018 and under that tag he will be real tough to trade. PITTSBURGH -- Le'Veon Bell plans to play in 2018, either under the franchise tag or a long-term contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bell told fans during an Instagram Live chat Wednesday night that he won't miss games if asked to play on a tag for the second consecutive year. The Steelers tagged Bell on Tuesday as a one-year placeholder worth $14.544 million. The team owns his rights, and both parties have until July 16 to work out an extension. We have time and I don't see value in using a 1st round pick on a RB with having such a huge commitment to Bell on the table. Might take a later round RB and then worry about it next season if a extension can not be agreed upon by July 16th. We will be looking hard at who is available with our pick and try to evaluate the future and present with the pick for many positions this team needs.
-
Pittsburgh is not happy about this, he was creeping down the boards perfectly and was the prime target. Staff is looking hard at options, sadly not enough picks to make any move ups.
-
It just might take that long, they must be fielding a ton of trade offers
-
Too much trading in this one IMO. Lots of extra work for OP. IMO run this with no trades and things would be easier all the way around. Also much faster. I suggested earlier in this thread we should run another draft with no trades allowed. Edit. I would like to see how this 1st round rolls with no trades
-
I was thinking that with the draft we should.. oh a cat video, I like cat videos
-
This has to be the most trades ever in a draft, haha
-
3 rounds is a ton of work for him, even just this one is, just saying.
-
Im not really excited for round 2 as much as round one right now, I can see a mock for 2 after the draft is run again with no trades considering we might not pick a QB till then with no more trades. Just trying to see where the QBs and some other players land in the 1st with no trades allowed. IMO
-
Any chance when this draft is done it can be run again but without any trading allowed? Maybe limit each team to a 5 or 6 hour window between picks. Just wondering how it would shake with fans without trades happening come draft night. Also thanks for doing this draft I am enjoying it.

I like how you put the Jags in, Bortles did well when he was needed in big games. Tyrod was on the bench with a towel on his head in big games wishing for the rest of the team to bail him out. McCoy carried the offense Tyrod was just in on the ride. By next season I expect Tyrod to only get offers to be a backup QB. Turnovers happen when a team goes 3 and out as well something many fans don't look at when saying he is so careful with the ball.
-
The Bills ended the drought in spite of him not because of. Besides Cinci and other teams was one of the big reasons it happened. All it could have taken was one team to change that drought end, lucky for us it ended but Tyrod did not end the drought, our team, coaches and other teams did that IMO. Those years with Rex Tyrod padded stats and did well against the garbage teams. If Tyrod did better our D wouldn't have been so spent every game covering for the bad drives and teams forcing Tyrod to be a QB.
-
One read always picked running over throwing. Never once heard him blame himself, throw the dam ball. Run Tyrod run. Make him be a QB. 3 and out. Non existent in most real big games. Threw the race card when asked what the problem is with why fans are not supportive of him enough. He was chosen by Rex. Just my opinion
-
So is this fish pick? Official?
-
I bet the fans hope it isn't look how long the bridges have been in Buffalo, we have yet to find a exit.
-
Fans will want to jump that bridge for Darnold by the 3rd game.
-
Those scouts are blind he needs a ton of work and IMO is going to bust as a franchise QB. Cutler 2.0 type of starter/career IMO
-
Maybe if we had some of our old staffs but this one is smarter then that and knows Allen is not worth a top 10 pick to sit around 2 years trying to clean up his accuracy and footwork. IMO Why would Colts move I can not see Denver taking him anyway Denver will grab Mayfield here IMO

Predictions for the time capsule
xRUSHx replied to Wings and Beer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Darnold-franchise QB Rosen-franchise QB Mayfield-franchise QB Rudolph-after year of sitting franchise QB Allen-after 2 years sitting becomes starter just to end up a backup at end of 1st contract after showing Cutler like. Jackson-starting QB that ends up on IR year one then by end of first contract broken like RG3 and worth nothing. Everyone else longshots that become fulltime backups.
