  1. Karlos Williams is facing a 10 game suspension and wont be in the NFL this year... he violated the NFL's Substance Abuse Policy AGAIN.... I loved the guy... I watched his 1st ever NFL carry live, go for a TD. He was beast.. but off the field, he has issues and he won't be in the NFL for much longer. I hope he saved his money or got an education at FSU (Doubt it) b/c he cannot abide by NFL policies.
  2. Keep him... All day (not on a Football level) The guy is a Marketing genius. Since he's been here, he has some how managed to keep the stadium full of fans even after a 17 year playoff drought. He does not need to included in the day to day football operations, but from a business/marketing standpoint, he is the guy. He has a great mind when it comes to the business/marketing side of the team and I believe he should stay, as long as it's not on a Football Operations Level.
  3. The Bills did exactly what they should've done... Why would we pay a back up running back 4 million dollars this year? There are only 2 teams in the NFL that pay their back up running back anywhere near that amount of money.. and both of those teams do not have a starting RB named LeSean McCoy. Because Touch Down Mike went to the Patriots, everyone is up in arms.. just like last year with Chris Hogan. Let's remember, Chris Hogan had 2 more catches last year with THE GOAT throwing him the ball than he did 2 years ago with TT and EJ throwing him the ball... He had a great AFC Championship game and that's about it. Besides for when he torched Gilmore, who is another guy that Bills fans should be happy we did not resign. He is not worth NO WHERE near the amount of money he got from the Pats. Of all our CB's last year, Gilmore gave up the most big plays of them all... He doesn't like to tackle and he is the type of player that does not give it his all on every play. We now have 7 picks in the draft, with 3 in the 5th round. There are a lot of good RB's in the draft this year, specifically in later rounds... I'm sorry, but Mike Gillislee is not worth 4 Million this year... we will be fine with Shady, Jonathon Williams and a drafted RB. Doug Whaley always seems to find RB's at GREAT value, who can do what Gillislee did. Mike Gillislee is going to be splitting carries with James White and Deon Lewis... James White is definitely a better RB than Gillislee, especially catching the ball out of the backfield. The other issue with Gillislee is, he is not a very good pass blocker. I loved Gillislee and all he did for Buffalo, but no one would be worried if he were to be signed by the Colts, Jags, Bucs etc. As long as we draft well, LeSean McCoy stays health and the OL plays the way they did this past year, we're going to lead the league in rushing again! Mark my words!
  4. This post right here is to let any one know, who thinks this is Doug Whaleys fault... they're WRONG. If you want someone to blame, it's Jim Overdorf. He has consistently put the Bills in these types of situations, that's why he's been recently moved into a new role... Hate to see TD Mike go, but in return, we get a 5th round pick, making that the 3rd 5th round pick we have... Remember, RB's are a dime a dozen.. you can't pay your back up RB 4 million dollars... NO ONE DOES THAT - only 2 teams in the NFL do that and in my opinion, it's not a good idea.
  5. As a Bills fan and naturally a Jim Kelly fan, I would love to see Chad Kelly come play for the Buffalo Bills.. He has had his fair share of off field issues, but his arm strength and accuracy are better than any of the top QB's projected this year. Had he not gotten hurt, nor had the off field issues.. he would be the top prospect in the draft. I would love to see the Bills take a chance on him in the 6th round if he is still available. I do think it would be tough on him though.. his uncle is the best QB the Bills have ever had and probably one of the most popular people the city of Buffalo has ever had... He has big shoes to fill coming to Buffalo, but maybe his Uncle Jim can keep him calmed and when it's his time, he can show us what he's all about. He played his SR year in the SEC, which is one of the best, if not the best NCAA football conference in College Football.. He is a tough, strong arm and accurate QB. He is not afraid to take a hit and he will take off and run with the ball and not shy away from a hit. I like the kid, I just hope he cleans up his off field issues.
  6. People need to get over Chris Hogan.. he had 2 more catches in the regular season this year with Tom Brady (GOAT) throwing him the ball than he did last year, with Tyrod Taylor and EJ Manuel throwing him the ball... The only thing he did against us last year was TORCH Stephon Gilmore, who now plays on the same team as Hogan... Gilmore gave up on the Bills and is one of the softest CB's I have ever watched. I played football my whole life, coached it and scouted it... Gilmore does cover well, but will not tackle anyone and as the years went on, he has gotten worse...
  7. As a team who is in WIN NOW MODE, why would we take a QB at 10? All the NFL Analyst are saying that this QB class is very weak.. so why would we waste a pick at number 10 on a QB. Plus statistics show, 1st round QB's do not typically pan out as "Great" QB's... With pick #10 we need a DAY 1 STARTER... with that being said, we need someone like 1. WR-Mike Williams 2. OLB-Haasan Reddick 3. CB-Marshon Lattimore 4. TE-OJ Howard (Rick Dennison's Offense has a lot of 2 TE sets) 5. WR-Corey Davis I still think the Bills should do any and everything to move back in the 1st round to get a few more picks in this draft. It's a very deep draft with the positions we're in need of (LB/CB/OT/WR/TE & now probably a RB anticipating the Bills do not match the Pats offer for Mike Gillislee) We have our QB for this year, and his name is Tyrod Taylor.. in the type of Offense we're going to run, he can really turn the corner this year. If we put weapons around him and protect him, he can be very dangerous... Why would we waste our 1st pick on a QB, someone who won't even get a chance to start this year... doesn't make sense to me.
  8. NO WAY!!! He is going to want money and a lot of it... he also isn't going to want to sign somewhere as a backup.. I wouldn't mind him being the back up QB but he will want way too much money and we don't have the money to pay a back up QB like that.. I think retirement is his best option.
  9. That's not a good thing to say, when you're waiting to get drafted... Kind of makes me feel like he's soft. I don't care where you grew up, be a man. Regardless of what team drafts you, you're going to end up playing in Cold Weather throughout the season.. That's a dumb statement for him to make and if I were a NFL GM, I'd have a major concern with that comment.. Personally, I don't like the cold either, who does? But as an NFL player/Grown man.. you gotta deal with it. PERIOD
  10. We have so many holes to fill... (CB, LB, WR, OT & Possibly TE in Rick Dennison's offense) Trading back would be the best case scenario... We only have 6 picks to begin with (no 4th rounder or 7th rounder), so if we can trade back and receive another pick or two, it could really help... This draft is so deep with Defensive Backs, which is a big need that we have. It's also very deep with big size WR's & TE's.. If we can trade back and grab one of the top CB's later in the 1st round, or TE such as David Njoku or OJ Howard who seems to be dropping in draft projections.. That adds another weapon for Tyrod Taylor. Both OJ Howard and David Njoku are WR's in TE's bodies.. in the 2nd and 3rd round we can still get a really good CB or LB, or if we go defense in the 1st round, we can still get a good WR in the 2nd or 3rd round, a WR with size and speed, there are a lot of them out there.. If anyone has watched tape on Rick Dennison's offense, he likes to line up with either 2 TE's or a FB and RB... that's why Patrick Dimarco and Mike Tolbert were both really good pick ups.. they can both line up in the back field, but can also line up in the slot which can cause confusion for defenses. It would spread out the defense and allow Shady to run wild... once Shady gets past the 1st level, he is so elusive, he can take the distance anytime the balls in his hands.. Personally I would love to trade back in the 1st round, grab a late round pick or picks and add depth to the areas in which we need.. Regardless of where we draft in the 1st round, I truly believe no matter where we draft in the 1st round, that pick will be a day 1 starter.. I also think with pick number 44 (2nd Round) we can also grab another day 1 starter. Anyone who thinks we should draft a QB in the 1st/2nd round is crazy in my opinion. We need someone with those 1st two picks to come in and start from day 1... a Rookie QB is not going to be the starter this year, unless Tyrod goes down in the preseason.
  11. Rotoworld hates the Buffalo Bills... their writers are horrible, with every sport. How can you say Doug Whaley is the worst when he brought in 2 guys last year, who were pretty much no names (Lorenzo Alexander & Zach Brown) to fill voids for injuries and they turned into stars for this team. In case Rotoworld missed it, Lorenzo Alexander was the MVP of the ProBowl.. He also got Tyrod Taylor to take a pay cut which was very unlikely to happen. Everyone knocks Whaley for the EJ Manuel Pick but the issue with that is... DOUG WHALEY DID NOT PICK HIM-Buddy Nix did. I think Rotoworld is one of the WORST sports sites on the internet.. I feel as though 5 year old kids could come up with better material than Rotoworld. They're just awful..
  12. I think your way off... Losing Robert Woods was the biggest loss of the off-season. I remember reading these message boards last year when we signed Z.Brown and people were bashing him.. he had one good year here now everyone is going crazy that we didn't resign him. I'm all for letting Gilmore walk. He got beat more than any of our CB's last year and he does NOT like to tackle. Coach McDermott is a coach who likes CB's to be physical and can tackle... I'm not saying we're going to the SuperBowl, but every year, every team loses players to free agency, and I think Whaley has done a damn good job grabbing guys to fill some voids. We def. need a LB/CB in the draft to come in and play right away. We already have Reggie Ragland coming back and Preston Brown, along with Lorenzo Alexander. As I said in the beginning, the biggest loss was Robert Woods and he is someone who we can replace in the draft whether it be the 1st, 2nd or 3rd round. There are a lot of WR's out there with a lot of speed, talent and SIZE.
  13. A QB at pick # 10??? That's pretty interesting, considering TT just took an enormous pay cut to stay with the Bills... Plus, if you look at the QB's out there in this years draft, not one of them is a Day 1 Starter, unless you're the Browns... We need to fill holes (CB-maybe 2, WR, TE, LB) Our best bet is to trade back the number 10 pick and get more picks. We only have 6 picks this year... we don't have a 4th rounder or a 7th rounder.. but picking a QB at #10 may be one of the most idiotic things this franchise has ever done. WE ARE IN WIN NOW MODE
  14. Nate Clements ALL DAY - He was an all around CB who could return kicks and punts. I'm not sure if any of you remember how good of a tackler and how hard of a hitter Nate Clements was. He was NEVER afraid to lay the lumber and put a hit on someone-Gilmore was a good/decent CB for the Bills, but when it came to tackling someone, he didn't want to hit anyone.. I think this is a no-brainer. Actually, I KNOW this is a no-brainer, Nate Clements was 100% a better CB for the Buffalo Bills. I could name a few more CB's that played for the Bills that were a lot better than Gilmore, but since the topic was Clements or Gilmore, I will keep it between those two.
