...OK, then.
Butthole can call his conference and call every team in the NHL the
J(ust),
E(nd),
T(he),
S(eason), (which never happened)
DOG-ASS JETS!!!!
...let me get this straight. If they DO play a portion of a season, it's what, 28 games then a full round of playoffs?
Talk about a tainted Cup. The winner should use it as a flower pot.
...one of the former 'Ville gridders, Sean Scott, is playing very well for the Philly Soul and I keep tabs every now and then on how he's doing. Had a 5-TD game last week vs. Chicago.
Saw a pretty neat play on the highlight reel Sunday. Graziani (Soul QB) threw a ball from his knees 45 yards that a Soul WR caught in stride and scored on. Was a neat throw with plenty of zip on it.
A tough night for G-Mac. He was hobbling after rolling his ankle in the 1st half, and the results were ugly (5-of-22, 3-of-14 from 3).
Pace was AWOL. The Orange let Troutman bully them and he was a difference maker with 16 free throws.
...well, SU just got broomed by Pitt. 68-64. Was winnable game but Orange let it slip away. Panthers turned up the D in the final 4 minutes and that was the difference.
Nice game from McCroskey. But he didn't get a whole lotta help.
SU's on the roller coaster right now. Hot one game, cold the next.
Coach B challenged Pace to play better, and he responded Saturday. How he plays down the stretch will be a good indicator how high the tourney seeds (Big East & NCAA) will be be for SU.
...saw some of the skills competition last night. That is a nice arena.
Could be neck & neck between the Amerks and the Monarchs for home ice throughout the Calder Cup playoffs.
...now that TD/MM & co. seemingly have turned the page on Bledsoe, I'm just as interested to know what the Bills will do to beef up (i.e. improve) their OL, and what they intend to do re: Losman's backup.
...you know what I'd like to see more of on TV? College hockey. Those kids play their tails off and the atmosphere at most campus arenas is electric. About all the college hockey I get in my neck of the woods is the NCAA regional finals and Frozen Four.
...snow freezes in Hades. Dem Bonnies finally won an A-10 game. 70-64 over URI. Now time to lose another 10 in a row. 0-10, then a win, 0-10, then a win...
