It simply isn’t normal for a young fit kid to drop dead at 22. So when it happens of course people want to know why. When it’s kept secret it seems odd. People don’t normally hide cause of death if it was some ailment. Not sure how disclosing an ailment would bring further grief. There is a short list of causes of death that would bring further grief if made public. We all know what those are.

Wanting to know why is normal, we're inquisitive creatures. Demanding that we have the right to know is something else altogether. (not intimating that you did that)

I suspect these are cuts that are not priority for resigning to the PS. Those they will save for a mass cutdown in hopes they will get lost in the wash with the hundreds of others being cut at the same time around the league.

IIRC since he’s been here Beane has made cuts early and some of those cut do end up on the PS.

Are we doing this again?  This is a thread about Tyrod's injury.  There are a million threads debating Tyrod's performance, including a very recent one.  Please stay on-topic.

You don’t know us very well, do you?

    Tuhrod sucks.

Carted off?  The link said he jogged off.

    He jogged, then was carted.

😂 Tyrod Taylor has way more passing attempts than Peterman. If we’re going by your logic, then Marcus Allen (who has a 6:1 TD/INT ratio) is a better QB than both of them. If you think Peterman holds a candle to Tyrod then you’re trippin.

    He sucked, give it up.

I mostly agree, but I'd still pump the breaks just a tiny bit, as we can't confirm for sure what they knew before even drafting him, or how much they knew the past couple months.

Some reports suggest other teams were aware of certain things about this case pre-draft (hence the best punting prospect in ages being the 3rd off the board), and others say the Bills were made aware of aspects as early as June.

I really don't know, but I'd just caution heaping too much praise right away. Still, they do deserve credit for moving on this quickly, and that is something I 100% support.

So, you’re calling Beane a liar because of “some reports.?”

The only misstep for me is cutting Haack over Araiza. If they knew this was hanging over the latter, why cut the former when they did?

Only thing I got is that they trusted their guy and the story they gave him. Poor judgement on their part? Oh, yes & Beane admitted as much.

    Don't envy Sean McDermott today.

Getting this team focused and ready to play may be the biggest test of his leadership as the Bills Head Coach. The Peterman disaster is up there, but that was just football; unfortunately for everyone this is a bigger and darker cloud over the team.

    GO BILLS!

They’ll pull it together IMO. Lots of strong minds on that team.

I don't share @Chandler#81 sentiment here but he may be right, at least partially about him not being charged.  As @Delusional Bills Optimist posted in this thread, there is much higher burden of proof in the criminal arena.

Burden of proof matters not one iota in the Bills cutting him.

if he is fully exonerated down the road and a “preponderance of the evidence” indicates that he did nothing worse than have sex w a 17 year old then I will offer him my most sincere apologies.

Not just “A ***** punter”. Araiza is the Ray Guy Award winner for being the nation’s top college punter. He is truly a phenomenal sports wonder with his never-before-seen kicking of a football. Repeat; Never-Before-Seen. The evidence made available so far shows the young woman in question wasn’t completely honest about her age at the time and level of schooling, while claiming she consented to sex with Araiza. He hasn’t been -and it is more than conceivable he won’t be- criminally charged in this purported horrendous event from 10 months ago. Should this come to pass, he WILL be punting in the NFL - for Some team..

Wow, where to begin? There’s so much wrong wrapped up here that I honestly don’t know where to start.
