This is a shameless self-plug but I thought you folks might enjoy it anyway.  Some of you may remember that I work in theatre but my company has just gone to multimedia and this is the first film I've ever directed.  I'm tickled by it.

RIP to the coach who was murdered.

Belichick really does go after high-character guys, doesn't he?

Common man, not a time to take a jab at Bellichick. Put a link in it next time.

Overall terrible story. I was surprised to find out that peewee teams now have owners.

My apologies, I guess I conflated the level of your concerns with that of other posters.

I've literally posted that if they want to carry barkely for his charming personality they should make him a coach or carry a developmental QB in his place. I don't think it's something critical though as you can always ***** someone else developmental QB if you really want one though.

👍 I don't see the need to carry two vets like Keenum and Barkley. Cut one and pick up a young castoff who you think has potential.  If you're down to your third string QB you're screwed anyway so you may as well go with a youngster.

Hey, we can't really panic about the starting QB anymore.. gotta find something to panic about or what will make life worth living?

Is that what you think is happening? I'd rather have a QB who may develop into something vs. Keenum and you think that's panic? What do you consider reasonable?

I think Barkley earned number 1 spot to start preseason next week ( unless McDermott wants to play Allen). Keenum needs to prove himself rest of the way for 2 spot in qbs.

At this point, early I know, I'd rather see a developmental QB on the roster vs. Keenum.

Say hello to my little friend 😎

I'm no punt god, but what was striking to me watching him for the first time was how little he extends his leg. His foot barely came above his hip. Compare that to Ray Guy or some other prototypical punter.

I suppose that's why his hang time may be an issue at times (kickers please chime in)?

Had it not been a touchback, I'd agree. A great punt, no doubt. But for it to be the best punt I have ever seen, it would have to been kicked out of bounds or had more hang time and been downed before the goal line. Don't get me wrong, very impressive. But 10 yards shorter and out of bounds is a better outcome.

When did you become Mr. Practical?

Beerball, my good friend, how goes it? YE OLE concurs on THE HODGINS WATCH. Word on the street is, he has looked pretty good so far in camp.

YE is also interested in seeing this Benford fellow everyone is talking about. It sounds like he will get some play against Matty Ice and the first stringers today.

Great seeing you YE! Nice call on Benford. It will be fun watching him develop.

  9. Who will you be keeping an eye on?

Make or break, Isaiah Hodgins. No more chances if he doesn't show something, including the ability to stay healthy, he's gone.

On the verge of being passed over Zack Moss. RB room is crowded and he needs to stay out of the McDermott doghouse.

Got anything to share, AJ Epenesa? Time to show it.
