I was listening to a bit of NFL Radio yesterday and heard Jim Miller say that he didn't have a problem with the hit. Also they were talking about the league being unrecognizable from when he played. I guess the guy that made the hit said afterwards the league should be more concerned about guys knees than their heads with rule changes. Miller went on to say you cant blame a player as they are being fined if their hitting in the head, an rb cant lead with his head etc so this will be a natural effect of these changes. That was a gruesomew devastating hit and I would think likely end the dudes career.

For real? I think I would lose some respect of this coaching regime.

I agree with your thoughts initially. Now I think he will make the squad based on what he has shown. But I think that's even more important with Kolb on the squad because he can be counted on to be injured so they better have a third guy on the roster.

I'm surprised you would back a broken down old vet who wont be able to avoid injury just getting to the line of scrimmage every 15 seconds. Oh wait, I'm not Kolb' s future with us will be insignificant.at most. EJ will be historic. Lets just go with him straight out of the gate and I believe that will be the way forward but he does still have to show he can do it. I have ZERO doubt in him. He is the leader of this team for the at least the remainder of the Bills in Buffalo.

Practice without getting an injury on this team. He will be able to manage some other teams ritual. Especially if he joins late. I'm betting someone does in fact sign him. It won't be us but I hope he has another shot and goes out on his terms as unlikely as that is. And please show the man some respect. He did a lot of good here on a lot of bad teams. In fact he was the only thing worth watching some times. unless you really liked seeing our punts!

Easy now. I wasn't suggesting we sign him. I was only asking about his whereabouts. I have the ultimate respect for him. He is a true professional. This is a load of crap and disrespectful to Stevie. He had Fitz throwing to him. And even if he was getting 10+ chances a game which I doubt, you also know they weren't bombs that he was getting so the yardage he gets is yardage he earned. Start the season please!

All fair and rational points. What are you doing here? I didn't see Brad Smith once today. Didn't hear his name called and don't think he will be a kick returner for us and isn't a good enough receiver to go with these guys. He is a good guy though but I just see his name as being the easiest to erase to reduce a logjam of talent. Of course the fact he makes good coin doesn't help his case either.
