There are some things I will drag Daboll about. But his pass design really isn’t one of them. when he picks and chooses to call his tricks was weird. His flow was pretty predictable. I am also about sick of the Allen designed runs unless it is 3rd or 4th and short and he is falling forward.

I get it. Probably not the best time to call it. But it was open. The floated ball allowed the DB to get back in the play. I have to rewatch it and try and figure out why Allen took heat off that ball. Exactly he cut his route off and came back. And it was open at that point. Why the touch pass? Your WR coming back to you you rifle it. I have to watch again and maybe Allen got hit or something caused him to float that Ball.

And Neither have I. But the criticism I am giving him for Today is warranted

No actually I am not. I am not the one asking the question. I fully expect regression from 2020. And a small regression is normal. But even a small regression and he is a top end QB. and as I have said many times. I think he will be fine. There is a book on him and not many teams can do to him that the Steelers just did (unless our OL is really absolute trash).

Again has their been any season in his football life at any level that was like last year? Or are they more like 2019 and what we saw today. Again then you don’t know what you were watching. His accuracy was all over the place. His processing was slow today. It was a bad game. And the ONLY season he had a 2020 season in his life was in 2020. So yes the question will be there until he does it again. This game didn’t help answer that question. That’s just the reality and being completely honest on his play. (and I like Allen).
