  1. (Virtually) Nobody wants him to fail. He did some very good things and improved in several areas. That said, he also left plays out on the field and he fumbled too damn much. (Virtually) Everyone wants him to be the guy for the next 18 years, for that to happen the improvement needs to continue. McDermott's conservative nature also come into play with too much frequency. This is a good team and it was a good team in 2019, yet we went into virtually every fourth quarter biting our fingernails. Coaching needs to get better too.
  2. He didn't hand the ball to Thurman (or KD) enough the entire game. Giants defense beat the Bills offense, not the other way around.
  3. Old guy like me, world going to hell in a handbasket...I don't care who we beat as long as I'm around to enjoy it!!!!!
  4. Not a lot of detail here. Hopefully this isn't widespread. https://www.npr.org/sections/coronavirus-live-updates/2020/03/24/820711855/spanish-military-finds-dead-bodies-and-seniors-completely-abandoned-in-care-home Aaaaaannnnnnddddddd back to school with you. https://www.capitalgazette.com/news/nation-world/ct-nw-liberty-university-jerry-falwell-reopen-20200324-cfnrnswlbzbxzfyp47hqeogaam-story.html
  5. JK's ego lost that game & Belichick knew it would. But, back to Diggs. Very happy to have him and I'm really looking forward to hearing from him.
  6. I wonder if the McKenzie resigning was done to force Diggs' hand? They play the same role, right?
  7. Maybe a trade should be worked out. What do you think we can get for Diggs?
  8. I'm not sure if acquiring Dalton is best for Josh Allen's future. Josh Allen is a very young QB and he needs time to develop without feeling the ginger pressure of Andy Dalton.
  9. What's up with that, you Digg? I'm officially concerned that he doesn't want to be here. Has anyone else thought about this?
  10. How long are you willing to wait? If you don't see marked improvement year 3 vs. 2 what's your play? Bring in a vet to compete? Give him year 4? Draft some competition?
  11. Time will tell. If your memory is better than mine revisit this when the numbers are revealed. I'll bet ya a beer. That is the entire point of this thread.
  12. Irrelevant to yourself, perhaps. It is, however, exactly where the Bills are right now. Allen performs well in 2020 and shows improvement in his personal performance then he buys the FO one more year. If he regresses, isn't seen as improved over 2019 then it's a different story. That extension isn't far off and I'd put $35m at the bottom end of what "franchise" QBs will be getting if our world returns to "normal."
  13. Beane and McDermott are committed to winning football games and furthering their careers. As long as the feel Allen gives them the best chance at that then he's fine. Mariota was replaced by Tannehill for a reason. He was brought in to compete. Tannehill was replaced in Miami for a reason. TB's folly was not doing something earlier to get competition for Winston. Beane has constructed an offense (from a talent perspective) that leaves no excuses. It's up to the coaches to put the players in the best possible position. It's up to the players, led by Allen to make plays. He's a great kid and I want nothing but huge success for him and the Bills. Waiting one extra year only does one thing though. It puts you one year behind in finding your future. (JMO)
  14. Unless he stops playing like a one man gang he'll not reach his potential and neither will the team. The reason you mention, intact offense with one big exception (Diggs) and soon to be chosen complementary RB is the exact reason why the pressure is indeed on Josh Allen. He has one season to prove it or the team is going to be forced to bring in competition in 2021. He is either going to command big bucks or he won't and Beane needs to know by the end of the 2020 season.
  15. It most definitely is. If it were your money would you be ready to pony up 35-40m/season based on what you've seen to this point?
  16. process faster not lose his mechanics when they're needed most know the routes and throw to spots, stop relying on your arm to get it there throw the receivers open stop fumbling
  17. There must be something that can be done with the supernumerary Bill. Just cut him, please.
  18. Do you think it lends credence to your post when you say "will be" in your title or is that clickbait?
