  1. The Pegula's might value a star coach. It's almost impossible to imagine this as a Bills fan-- like beer being on sale to a Canadian--it's never happened before.
  2. Celebrating this win is like celebrating NATO's end of combat missions in Afghanistan.
  3. It's hard to not draft quite a few really good players. He didn't pull the trigger on Russell Wilson when qb was a position of need. He failed.
  4. Somehow that play ended by Brown hurdling a guy in mid field--unbelievable. If he sprints down the sideline he likely scores, or makes it deep in red zone.
  5. Belichick playing a soft defense allowing EJ to throw for 350 yds.--this to confuse the Bills management into playing him next year.
  6. You're right. There are other teams who draft poorly as well.
  7. Without Buffalo Spiller may have gone thirty draft spots later. The Bills have been very very good to CJ.
  8. Giving that players--especially QB's--don't improve on message boards, you are correct !
  9. Grass field (Oakland is predicting light rain), late game, New England next week. 17-14 Bills
  10. When the running game is keeping the clock moving, Fred is gaining yards off screen plays, some Woods, some Sammy, nice misdirection to Brown down the sidelines--if Bryce Brown had ANY sense of field angles, he'd be a good player. What we all want to see now is TD's not FG's. fix this and were set.
  11. We're used to seeing great players against our offense lately. The line plays hard and hold up pretty damn well considering the level of talent coming at them. I disagree completely. Wood will be here as a leader--for years to come.
  12. In this league, it's important to have a qb who's played against these D coaches--That's why Cutler will get snagged quickly this off season. Orton knows these dudes. Sure he under throws a 6' 8" tight end--but leading up to a game, Orton and coordinators can draft a better scheme than what could be drawn with EJ, or other qb's with few starts. Experience is worth it.
  13. Sammy will break or challenge Andre's records if he stays a Bill. Unbelievable vision. He's tough, look at what he's done as a rookie--all with bruised ribs. The upcoming seasons will be treat to see.
  14. To go with what I said above about this critical play, the enthusiasm by whitch the ref announced to the stadium " five yard penalty and an AUTOMATIC FIRST DOWN"--sounded as though he was introducing Taylor Swift or something. I'll bet a memo goes around to the officials asking them to sound less excited when describing these type of calls.
  15. The early penalty on N. Robey on the pass deflect in the endzone was the perfect scam. It gives Manning three more chances to put up points.-- I would imagine the Broncos have a great record when scoring first. It eliminates a GREAT play by a DB--it wasn't a dropped pass or an incomplete ball or a sack--it squelches any potential momentum generated by it, for him and team. It tells Buffalo early on they have two teams they must defeat.
  16. If Buffalo was a 10-6 team with a couple playoff appearances in the last decade--would you say the Rogers Centre would've been packed?
  17. If it was another franchise instead of Buffalo at Toronto, I think it might have had a better chance at working--The NHL rivalry between the Leafs and Sabres is too thick. Torontonians half fill the Niagara Center with rabid fans cheering against Buffalo's team--and we expect to bring our NFL team into their space--paint our logo at the Fifty, our name in the end zones, and call ourselves at home? It was doomed at the start. Now say, the Browns or the Steelers would've been terrific. Maybe even more WNY'ers would travel to Air Canada Centre to see the Steelers than they would to see the Bills.
  18. If the pass rush isn't effective up the middle. The ends should pull up--not over pursue--but make themselves big by waving their arms, knock down passes. Manning is the very best at using your momentum against you. And I feel like we are prone to fall into such a trap.
  19. Weather Weather Weather! Mother Nature please give wind and snow. Peyton Manning is a living Legend--but can he spin it through high winds like he used too? Orton has a rocket as we know. If it's mild out-- we're getting outscored.
  20. His throws to Woods-- a third down late in the pocket throw, the earlier back shoulder, and the TD toss were all-pro reads. He's a professional NFL quarterback who knows very well the players and coaches he's competing against. We're lucky to have him.
  21. If Marone can demand and receive the respect and dedication from players as Bill B does, he'll be our coach for another decade.
  22. At the moment I would think ownership is thrilled with this team. But an 8-8 record is very likely from the look of the schedule.--very tough decision to make. 9-6 record guarantees a return of all staff who want to stay.
  23. Pictures of The Ralph above shows the value of ten bucks an hour. I don't know the ticket sales involving the Brown's game--but if there's less than the needed amount for a local televised broadcast--I would hope a blackout would be not even considerable--evil it would be.
  24. I like the play calling. It's way better than previous three staffs--A couple more better players and we're in buisness
