  1. How can you give up on Allen after 5 games? He is a raw prospect. The majority of successful qbs took time to develop. Give the kid a chance.
  2. I am cautiously optimistic. Beane has made some moves that I initially did not agree with, but they later turned out to be smart moves. This has been a difficult season, but one that we expected. I am hopeful that we will start to see the team of the future start to come into focus next season. IF we are not serious contenders for a playoff spot by the 2020 season, then it will be time to move on.
  3. Maybe Derek Anderson can be that veteran voice. Allen will most likely start when he is healthy, but Anderson maybe able to provide the instructions and insights that will help Allen develop. I am on board with wr's with the first three picks. I would be willing to bet that one of the first two picks will be a defensive player.
  4. The Vikings upset is what keeps me going. That may not last much longer though.
  5. After Sunday's game, I am not optimistic. But, this team has surprised us this year. But it is near impossible to catch the pats on an off night. They are always prepared.
  6. I agree. Our patience has been pushed to its limits and beyond.
  7. No problem. You are a passionate bills fan. I respect that.
  8. Not sure you have read my posts. I have not suggested anyone be fired. I believe we should let this play out and give the current management a chance to work their plan. I do like your passion.
  9. It's sad to see how some put unrealistic expectations on young players. Some positions like quarterback offense of line, and linebacker take time to develop. Some people were ready to call Edmunds a bust after his first or second game and he's only 20.
  10. Allen has played in five games. It may take a little more time to let him develop. I would wait at least a full season before you declare Allen a bust.
  11. So you're saying we cannot even be number one at being pathetic?
  12. I am in the same boat. My first memories of the Bills go back to the 1963 season. Aside from the two AFL championships and the glory years of the 90's it has been bleak. If we don't chill, what options do we have. Quitting the team is not an option for me. I am hooked in there's no way out. I agree with you 100%!
  13. Patriots 93 - Bills negative 3
  14. Congratulations! When real life happens it does tend to center us. You are in for a wild ride. Enjoy. It goes by fast.
  15. Bring back EJ and JP and let them battle it out?
  16. You are actually keeping things in perspective! What is your secret?
  17. I hope you are wrong, but this could be our reality. If this happens, our time table for experiencing success will move back another 3-4 years. When will the pain stop???
  18. Try doing what I do. I slept throught most of the game after the 1st quarter Sunday. I would wake up occasionally to a terrible play and then fall back asleep. I would highly recommend this technique in watching Bills games this year.
  19. That is the disease of fandom . The irrational emotional bond to a team with your city's name on their jersey. I agree, it makes no rational sense, but I have been afflicted with you most of my life. Read the posting during Bills games on this board. That is real stress. Do you charge by the hour or by the visit. Doctor, please help me... Agreed. When we get dominated in all phases of the game...there is no excuse. Nice, I like your use of Nate's name as a verb.
