  1. I'll take the mean machine as my team
  2. I said I would wait until the roster is set but I know my prediction is going to be around 11 wins and no less than 9. that prediction wont be firm until the middle/end of august though.
  3. no, what he's doing is telling marcia to save the hand shake as he pushes him away.
  4. it's easy to defend yourself when you're dead, amirite?
  5. tad early. I'll wait until the draft and roster is set before any real prediction. but I'll say this, they'll win more than 9 games. no way this team takes a step backward.
  6. not just Josh improving but Daboll's offense should really be able to click now.
  7. OP, are you embarrassed to be a bills fan? hell, I still wear my 1992 pro line shark tooth authentic hat. proudly I may add.
  8. great first post! welcome to the board papa. new to tbd. looking forward to your future insight here.
  9. I always felt that but I guess we'll never really know with so many conflicting reports/opinions. we have allen, all that matters to me.
  10. fair enough. they wanted darnold and were furious with the jets for taking their guy and ended up with their second choice, allen. personally, I'm really glad the jets messed up their plan. I would take allen over darnold any day of the week.
  11. it also came down to either josh. I just don't believe they were as high on darnold as some may of thought? https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2018/04/2018_nfl_draft_brandon_beane_says_josh_allen_wasnt_the_buffalo_bills_only_choice.html What we know for certain is the Bills valued Allen higher than UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen, who went No. 10 to the Cardinals. If the Bills would have been thrilled with either one, there would have been no need to give up two second-round picks to move up and get Allen.
  12. your post suggests they wanted darnold over allen? the article does not say anything about them wanting darnold over allen. what I get from the article was the jets messed the plan of positioning up with their move but as the article says: Here’s the thing: Buffalo, supposedly “furious” by this deal, still landed a marquee quarterback, even though he did not play for a big-name college program. And, they definitely did not panic. Thus, the Bills made their move for Josh Allen. While some reports dangled Allen as the first overall pick in the draft, it was not meant to be. It was apparent that Allen was the No. 1 quarterback on the Bills’ radar. So far, it’s going according to plan for Buffalo and Allen. very misleading title and article.
  13. Ken Stabler as well. but surely, lets not forget Bart Starr Starr is the only quarterback in NFL history to lead a team to three consecutive league championships
  14. I did as well. I feel strange and I also feel a sense of relief. oh sure, the real serious skeptics, believe until the wins and division titles and beyond happen, we ain't seen nothing yet. I agree, wins are everything and lead to the promise land. I believe the direction this team seems to be going and shaping up, those wins will happen. what makes it strange is that after being mediocre for far too long, there is that sense of (relief) change, like somebody actually does know what the hell their doing...!! building a team, right before our eyes GO BILLS!!
  15. I'm no medical expert but even a slight condition would seem a risk when playing at the level these players do? there's my answer Combine physical turned up “low-risk” heart condition for Montez Sweat Sweat’s agents released a statement to NFL Media about the issue. “Because of privacy issues we are not allowed to comment specifically. But I will tell you that this is not news. Montez is the same person that was medically cleared to play and dominate the SEC, the Senior Bowl, and the NFL Combine. No change in health and no change in domination!”
  16. title threw me heart condition? pass
  17. rebuild mode, possible decline. although I know of a team that was in a similar situation and made the playoffs the first year of the rebuild, with a little help of course.
  18. you know, something tells me fitz will end a close one against buffalo (maybe both meetings?) with the ever faithful int. gotta love ole fitz though, hanging tough
  19. you know what. I hate the fins but I am glad for fitzy. the man has had one hell of a career as a back up/plugin QB. not really won anything but sure has shown resilience and you have to respect him for his willingness to keep working hard. amish rifle
  20. NZ Threatens 10 Years In Prison For 'Possessing' Mosque Shooting Video; Web Hosts Warned, 'Dissenter' Banned "On Saturday, journalist Nick Monroe reported that New Zealand police have warned citizens that they face imprisonment for distributing the video, while popular New Zealand Facebook group Wellington Live notes that "NZ police would like to remind the public that it is an offence to share an objectional publication which includes the horrific video from yesterday's attack. If you see this video, report it immediately. Do not download it. Do not share it. If you are found to have a copy of the video or to have shared it, you face fines & potential imprisonment."
  21. question is OP. could there be a chance this corps is better then last years corps? since I'm unable to answer that nor even yourself can answer that since they have yet to set the roster or take the field, you really don't know if they're better or worse so I have to totally disagree with your OP. it's easy to be pessimistic as a bills fan and hard for some to find any reason to be optimistic but even this old pessimistic fan has seen plenty so far this off season to be optimistic about, plenty. oh, and that includes the recent wr corps signings. but hey, that's just me.
