  1. yeah, you have to be real concerned about that. could be a sign of bad things to come this season, no?
  2. been pretty busy the last 3 hours. welcome to the board, just a question out of curiosity. what inspired you to use that ugly mug for your avatar? fan of bevis and butthead?
  3. Top 3 things to know from the first Bills-Panthers joint practice 2. Allen benefits from Panthers 3-4 defense The Bills offense has been facing their own defense for the better part of the last two weeks every day in practice. Facing the Panthers on Tuesday, Josh Allen and company saw a defensive front far different from that of their own. “It’s a chance to get our offense in front of a different system and scheme and to develop as a team,” said head coach Sean McDermott. “The benefit is we come down and face a different defense as opposed to the one they played the last couple of years. It’s good for us because we’re going to go against some 3-4 opponents this year.” Buffalo’s offense made a fair number of plays in the short to intermediate areas, but had a tough time connecting on some deep shots. Josh Allen had a solid strike over the middle to John Brown who was cutting across the field, but the two couldn’t link up on a deep post pattern. Allen dropped it right over Brown’s shoulder, but he couldn’t hang onto the ball as it fell incomplete. Buffalo’s quarterback was most encouraged by the way things were organized up front against the 3-4 scheme. This despite the continued practice of mixing and matching interior line combinations. “They do a couple of different things, especially their front four,” Allen said. “They line up a little differently so we had to change some protections. We’ve got to be right on those. I thought we did a good job.” After practice concluded Allen went to seek out Panthers Pro Bowl linebacker Luke Kuechly for his thoughts on a particular play concept the Bills ran against him during the team segment. “I talked to him about a play and he said it’s a good concept and we talked about the hardships for a defense on that play,” said Allen. “I wanted to know why he did what he did on the concept we ran. I just took a couple of words from him here and there. “Obviously people revere him as one of the smartest guys in the league. I spent some time with Luke before in the past just hearing him talk about football. I talked to him about a certain play after practice and just the insight that he has and knowledge he has is pretty awesome. In the end we don’t have each other on our schedules, so we’re just trying to make each other better.”
  4. he and 50% are the same troll. just ignore them, scroll right over their posts and carry on the discussion with someone who isn't trying so hard to spread their agenda thread after thread. it's actually quite easy to do, the less you interact, the less they/it becomes relevant to the discussion.
  5. not really, just a few try to make it that way. key word, try.
  6. so would you rather they just sit on their ass and wait for the season opener? I too don't have much interest in preseason but they have to have training camp/practice and preseason games to work off the rust, adjust to new players/schemes and prepare for a long season. unfortunately the career they chose comes with high risk of injury that happens in both preseason and practice. hell, slipping on a mat can end your career. I hate it, I know every time they take the field there is a good chance they're either helped off or loaded on a cart. it sucks, but it's part of the game.
  7. JA being benched to save McD's job? no, I couldn't of read that right? oh I know, some here might feel this is McD's last season of opportunity and that he and Beane have not done much of anything yet to show they deserve more then 3 years. I believe that there is a better chance they succeed, then fail? that's just me though, a former heavily pessimistic fan that could of never been convinced the team had any chance to succeed and rightfully so through those 20 years of mediocrity. this regime has turned my outlook around and I don't believe other then back in the late '80's have I felt more optimistic about the team going forward. I hope those on the other side of the fence wont be too upset and fall off the edge when the buffalo bills are contenders again.
  8. I get it. those that buy in to the games/merch/ect must feel that hell, if I'm going to invest by god then you sob's don't need to be payin' a scrub like peterman with my hard earned money, you hear me buffalo bills, now get him off the field and cut his ass. I'm tired of you cutting him a check for his lousy play. by god, I work 50 hours a week for peanuts compared to you overpaid nfl players and by god if I don't do a good job, by god my ass is out the door. meh
  9. I've often wondered why fans worry about or care what a player is paid? it's not like it's money coming from their bank and if a team wants to give a scrub a paycheck, so what.
  10. curious disappearance can't say I've missed him any.
  11. thanks for stopping by and leaving your trash behind... I hope you don't get paid to think because you would be one broke puppy.
  12. I'd have to have another 50 grand, just because.
  13. This video file cannot be played.(Error Code: 224003) I get one as well.
  14. honestly, I don't even drink anymore but it was more the cost/price. I understand cost/price, especially up there in nys, I mean, 14 bucks for a beer and I heard some where around 14 bucks for a pack of marlboros? yeah, I'm an old head. the days of 2 dollar beer and 75 cents for a pack of smokes are long gone history. then folks wonder why they want to raise min wage to 15 bucks an hr. hell, you would struggle to get by on that wage. it pays to educate yourself or find a damn good paying trade if you want to get by these days.
  15. that would be, a negative.
