  5. Just listened to this recently for the first time since forever. Love it, great entry. But not even close.
  6. I'm sure that every league that starts back up will have a plan for dealing with a positive case. But as Mike Tyson famously said, "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth". My son raised an interesting question. If the NHL is able to have their 24 team tournament in the summer, how will that affect the next season which will be close to the normal start? I have no clue, but my suspicion is they'll try to make sure that whatever form the next season takes it will include fans in the stands.
  7. Country roads, take me home To the place I belong West Virginia, mountain mama (someone around the block had this cranked up 15 minutes ago, hadn't heard it in ages)
  8. Not sure, but if they ever do a Lanny McDonald movie, he's my guy.
  9. Rush managed to stay true to what they wanted to play, rarely had mainstream success and yet has an intensely loyal following, . That's rare.
  10. David Price pledges $1000 to every Dodgers minor leaguer. https://www.newsday.com/sports/baseball/david-price-dodgers-minor-leaguers-1.45062679
  11. No horny redheads for me that day, but me and my eventual best man still talk about how our rally bongs and burning anything related to the Astros contributed to the win.
  12. Tre Best CB Best Goalie Great sense of humor I hope he sticks around a long time and Josh is with him every step of the way
  13. Perhaps. I love pretty much everything posted in this thread. But when you're king of the mountain (Black Dog/Rock and Roll) why indulge the pretenders?
  14. Quit while you're ahead. The Beatles were always in on this. For my money Black Dog/Rock and Roll is still the winner. Waiting to see if someone can change my mind.
  15. That's awesome!! I watched game 6 with two cousins in Boston . We get along great but rarely see each other and there was zero trash talking. Just me amazed and them stunned. By game 7 I was back on LI and watching with friends. It brought back memories seeing Jesse knock in the run, but nothing I recalled until seeing the replay. Where did you watch game 6 against the Astros?
  16. You're better than me, I thought Straw's jack was the last run. We've been watching a lot of the replays (Thor just came into bottom 7 game 5 Dodgers 2015 after Murph put us up 3-2). But I digress, Straw made it 7-5 to open the 8th. With one out, runners on 1st and 2nd, Jesse Orosco at the plate and the Red Sawx playing an aggressive bunt defense Davey Johnson extends a big middle finger, lets Orosco swing away and he bounces one up the middle for the last run. I'm somewhat embarrassed that I forgot that.
  17. Black Dog/Rock and Roll was my first thought, nothing else mentioned so far has trumped that...yet.
  18. Not to derail the thread but I went to a Steelers home game at Met Life against the Jets last season. Good for that fan base to take over a stadium. But while I hate the Jets and have no real hate for the Steelers I wanted to see the Steeler fans go home sad that day. Takes a lot for me to root against the team playing the Jets.
  19. I've been to Alabama, people, ain't a whole lot to seeSkynrd says it's a real sweet home, but it ain't nothing to me
  20. Yes, but not nearly enough. But so far I'm undefeated: 11/15/1998: 13-10 vs. Patriots - post game highlight was going to the Big Tree Inn after the game and seeing Bruce and others 11/12/2000: 20-3 vs. Bears - fiance/wife-to-be surprised me with a birthday trip. Didn't realize at the time it was a bait and switch and wouldn't make it back until: 09/24/2017: 26-16 vs. Broncos - with the whole family. I think it was recorded as the hottest Bills home game ever.
