Seems like more a commmercial for Abby than the Bills
I'm OK with that. T-Pegs has the right to make money from his properties.

Unsung aspect: Bills and Sabres tickets are amongst the lowest priced tickets in their respective leagues.

I think everyone is on the block at all times, for the right price. I think Beane has said this before. Though, at the moment, I don't believe Beane to be shopping anyone.
The closest to untouchable is Josh Allen. Obvious reasons.
The next closest to untouchable is Shady because he is the only weapon available. But Beane would still move him for a good offer.

Can anybody point me in the right direction of a wings recipe please? Hotter the better.
Thanks in advance.
It's hard, but not impossible, to make a good restaurant style wings at home. Nothing beats a good industrial deep fryer.
This recipe steams wings, then uses the oven to finish them. It's rated 5-stars after 285 reviews, it must be good. https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/alton-browns-buffalo-wings-recipe-1972721
I like Alton Brown because he actually tests and optimizes his recipes before publishing.
Note: may not be hot enough for you, I'd add cayenne pepper powder to the wing sauce

Loves me a layover in CLT.
For veterans, CLT has a great USO.. and it's inside security so you can use it when changing flights.

Colton and Corey ... the punters even have punter names.

1. I think with this porous OL, the Bills QB room will suffer injuries, and a depth of 3 QB may be needed.
or
2. On the hand, getting a fifth round draft choice was quite the deal, and a risk worth taking. If Peterman and Allen are injured, I'm sure Beane could find a scrub QB.
I choose number 2.

Brandon Beane came into this organization and shook up the roster more than any other past GM's I can think of. He made several headline trades that saw some of our best young talent getting shipped away for draft picks
It was risky but we needed the draft picks. 2 years later he got his QB and this is the squad we are left with. Holes everywhere on the squad.
I love Mcdermott as a HC, I think given what he had to work with last season he did very well. But I'm not at all sold on Beane like 90% of this fanbase. I truly don't understand what he has done to improve this team in the last 2 years. Roster turnover is rather quick in the NFL. This isn't hockey or the NBA where we have to wait for years until a young core of players develops into elite talent. Beane traded away some of our best players and has yet to replace them. 2nd offseason in a row he has completely ignored the oline and we now objectively have the worst oline in the league.
I can only think of the RB's and safety position groups that have improved since the Rex era. Our LB's are some of the worst in the league, Dline and the pass rush has disappeared, and our top ranked rush offense is no more.
This season doesn't count, and shouldn't. But we are realistically 2-3 years away from competing. Beane has a lot of work to do next offseason.
Nothing better than a self-answering post.

Harvard QB, with the highest known Wonderlic score.. no wonder he keeps fleecing teams looking for a #1 QB.
Good for him.

... so, at this point, unless something drastic happens, I'm pretty sure it's gonna be Peterman under center in week one.
Ya. It could be Peterman under center. Literally.
(I believe this is the traditional use of literally)

OK, I recant my previous position regarding corned beef hash/prime rib.
I now postulate: You can't coach scrapple into a Sahlens hotdog.
Ya can't get more gross then scrapple.

I must add that Josh looked lost and held the ball to long. It wasn't all on the line. Not saying they didn't stink but he has to get rid of the ball and not take sacks. He should have had an int. also. Peterman should start. He looked poised and has shown promise.
Peterman can float a good ball to the sidelines, which looks good in pre-season play against a vanilla defense.
Play a regular season game, against a tricked out D, and Petermen's skills will fade into nothing.
Petermen's ceiling against regular season-D's is low. Allen's ceiling is higher.

You can't coach corned beef hash into prime rib.
Unless some pretty good OL talent get's cut from other teams next week (very doubtful), it's going to be a disappointing season.

Quote
Not only are the Bills inexperienced at QB, they’re downright futile up front. Last year’s O-line already lacked athleticism, and now its two best players, left guard Richie Incognito and center Eric Wood, have been replaced by men who’d be backups on just about any other squad (Vladimir Ducasse at guard, Russell Bodine or Ryan Groy at center).
That quote is spot on. I just rewatched quarter 1 of the Cleveland game---Cleveland had their way with the OL, hence McCarron's injury.
I shudder to think of what will happen to any QB behind that line for four quarters against a starting NFL defense. One thing is for sure, the Bills should keep 3 QB on the roster & practice squad, they are going to need all 3.
I found Andy Benoit's article to be uninformed and excessively negative, with the exception of the OL.
8-8 and I'll recover from that.

Didn't read every post for 10 pages of thread... But you can definitely tell the posters who have dealt with mental health issues, from those lucky enough to have not needed to.
I remember a Richie interview with Cowherd. Richie was lucid, coherent and very engaging. Obviously, in hindsight, one of his better days. I thought he had a future in broadcasting. He was that good.
Now it's all lost. Very sad.

I call it the Ralph.
But Rich Stadium still resonates with me also. I don't remember any controversies from the Rich family--unlike other rich families in WNY.

Probably started when the Bills Mafia started a bonfire in their stadium parking lot---then they heckled the fire fighters who responded to put it out.
Heckling first responders doing their job is a dick move.

Beane is a witch. With the upcoming surplus of salary cap, he'll get 'er done in some way none of us expect or predict.
Pass the popcorn.

That pick was all the Receiver's fault.

Nobody really wants to come to Buffalo.
But after they've been here, almost no one wants to leave Buffalo.

As many posters have stated: pressure for a new stadium comes from other owners looking to boost revenue. It's not about game day experience or other such tripe, it's about money (mostly from suites).
Here's the rub: WNY is a small market and will never rake in the revenue the owners desire--new stadium or not. A palace could be built, and revenue will be flat because WNY just doesn't have the economy or population.
So then the question becomes: when will the owners pressure Pegs to move the team to a larger more lucrative market? Will Pegs cave to that pressure to move?
-
Another reason for optimism: the team President is competent and in control. Way to go K-Pegs!

Remind me again why we haven't had Jason Peters for the last 15 years?

I'm not throwing darts at the Bills for this one. Unlike the hindsight savants here.
In Peters mind he was a great. But it was far from known to management that Peters would become a sustained great. When the Eagles made an offer that couldn't be refused, the Bills took it.
Opinion, I think Peters had a woody to leave Buffalo, no offer was going to be good enough. And I do remember what others posted: his season ending injuries that happened when the playoff run was over.
