  1. Over the years, I've seen many Bills fans complain about Sullivan and his negative columns. The problem is, he is almost always right. The Bills go out of their way to make his Debbie downer opinions dead on correct. It's uncanny. I want to see him eat his words, and the Bills do their damndest to make him a prophet. I haven't been able to emotionally connect to McCoy since his arrival. I just don't get him. And when I think that a great guy like Freddie was released to showcase this baby, it just sours my stomach. The point that this team lacks leadership was absolutely correct. It's in Seattle and on the IR list, but is nowhere on the playing field. Not Mario, Dareus, Hughes, Watkins, TT and certainly not McBaby. This guy is quickly becoming the second version of McGahee to me.
  2. So your issue within TT is that he's not one of those 4 guys? OK, accident of birth, I suppose. He is still the best that the Bills have had in decades. And he hasn't competed a full season yet. He has to improve, but I doubt that he will be one of those top 4 guys ever. He was supposed to be a caretaker because the Bills had a "historically" (hysterically?) good defense and a running game that would carry the team. Neither has been there to support the team. Which is the real issue, truthfully. So name the guy that will put this team on his shoulders and will them to the promised land. Describe how the Bills will magically acquire this messiah. And then tell us how the rest of the team won't blow it with penalties, turnovers and utter stupidity on a weekly basis.
  3. From here in Panthers country, I fully expect them to go undefeated and lose to the Cheatriots in the SB. Why? Simply because that is the worst case scenario.
  4. I'll never understand how a team that pretty much shut Brady down in the MNF game then abandons that style of aggressive play for a soft cushion/ no pass-rush type of defense. You can tell from the first quarter if this team has a chance based on the creativity of the defense. Are they gonna play good, or are they gonna give the game away? By the third drive, it's apparent. And the pass rush. Oh my GOD! How did Schwartz manage so much more without the cutesy blitzing B.S.? Am I insane thinking that sticking with what works is the way to go? Holy effing' s, Mario, Dareus and Hughes may as well not even be on the field. If they get more pressures than penalties, it's noteworthy. These were 10+ sack players before the defensive genius of Ryan. And oh, the penalties. Flag after flag after flag. You can blame the refs or the players, but this wasn't such an issue over the past few years. It's like they turned the stupid dial up to 11 this year. Maybe I'm unreasonable for expecting players not to move until the ball is snapped, but that is absolutely on coaching. Bracelets ain't gonna fix that. So they'll be out of the play-offs yet again, squandering the aging talent, and too stupid to realize that it's their own damn fault.
  5. It's fine to say Jackson or Bowles, but they had no HC experience prior to this year. Rex was the Bills best choice, and he blew it. And boy, did he blow it. Add a competent QB (surprisingly), a great RB, a TE and then make a top 5 defense suck. Holy geeeze... If they gave this team to Roman after this season and brought Schwartz back, I'd be on board totally. But Rex isn't done destroying this window of opportunity. Oh no. We'll see Mario and Kyle gone before this loser. But won't it be nice to root for a better draft pick once a #@&$ing gain?
  6. I have to admit, the penalties, the "stupid" defense that Rex likes to play when the Bills need a loss (you know, when they don't cover or bring any pressure) have me beyond frustrated. There's no reason for 8 penalties, let alone 14. How does this so-called genius make a great defense so bad? We need a win? Well, you can go ahead and add another L to the loss column. Every damn time. Every. Damn. Time. I get that there wasn't a better HC out there. But wow, he has been worse than I could have imagined. If he gets canned/quits after this abortion of a season, I won't feel the least bit sad to see him go. Holy cow, has he dragged this team backwards.
  7. The best way to be a spoiler is to take a play-off spot from the other contenders. I can't imagine fearing a first round beating so much that I would rather my team not make it. There are descriptive terms for those types of people...
  8. Pity. I read this whole thread, and "The reason you should home-school" poster child never returned to take his licks like a good troll. Fake account or not, it would have been the entertaining thing to do. I do appreciate the Jags taking the pressure off of the Bills for biggest eyesore unis of the year. Makes the all-reds look good.
  9. That would be Belicheat and Brady. Or was that a trick question? I only wish that the Bills would end this douches career- accidentally or otherwise. Of course, if they even pressure him once, they'll be lucky. These guys have no problem cheap-shotting our QBs and running up the score. At least we get blown out in embarrassing fashion with "class", right? That counts for what when the Bills pick in the top 10 while they get another trophy? The moment that official record keepers put an * next to ANY Cheatriots win, I'll accept one next to any Bills win over them when they took out Brady with a late hit. Until then, I'll keep hoping that karma that so many of you fear actually works against the bad guys for once. I hated Marino, and never once wanted to see him injured. Hated Elway, never wished him injured. Nothing but respect for Montana and even Aikmen, I couldn't wish injury upon. But this cheater... Maybe if they played fair and had class, they would be deserving of the same. Fear not, the Bills will barely touch him and get embarrassed with "class".
  10. Quite happy to be wrong about the outcome. Rambo and McCoy saved the day and perhaps the season with their performances. It was ugly on several levels, but any win is beautiful.
  11. Doesn't a quick shot of penicillin take care of "mystery illness"?
  12. I agree that Robert Woods has to be a key player, but Mario will be invisible (in terms of game-changing plays) and the run game will be stymied. Clay has to be big and TT needs to show how good he is to a national audience. Seeing Tyrod set the team record for consecutive completions, run for 50 with no TOs might be necessary for a win. We know Fitz has a penchant for p!ssing away the game when his team needs him to come through, so the Bills must play with the lead. Provided that the Bills don't play that ridiculous scheme that they played against the Cheatriots and Giants, they should be able to bait Fitz into a pick or two. Give the receivers a 10 yard cushion and generate 0 pass rush, and you can turn the t.v. off early.
  13. I would like to see Vinaccia' s comprehensive list of Dominican contributions to the world. Take all of the time you need. Then let us know what took up the rest of the minute. Ha ha, just kidding. Not really. If it brings someone who would post drivel like that closer to their eventual aneurysm, I'll pretend to be serious. Your professors must be soooo proud to produce another fascist race-victim. Never listened to this Cowherd guy. His opinion doesn't matter because his opinion doesn't matter. Frankly, I'd rather listen to the sounds emanating from a men's room than sports talk, but I understand that some of you do and enjoy complaining about it. To each his own. I don't find Rex's antics bothersome in the least. It keeps the dogs off of his players and is entertaining- provided that one doesn't take everything too seriously. If he becomes a distraction by writing checks that his players have to cash, he could be a problem. I they lose more than they win, the punchlines lose their humor.
  14. Here's a game that the Bills should win. They have been a problematic matchup for the Jests for the last two years, they are more talented over all and absolutely need this one. For these reasons, they will lose and effectively end their season at the half way point. What!?! Those ain't no kinda reasons, you may be saying to yourself. Deep down you suspect that they will play stupid, the Jests will play flawlessly, and Friday morning everyone will be wondering where key players disappeared to when they were needed the most. Because it's the Bills. On the bright side, we can blame it on the uniforms. 20-13 Jests
  15. The problem here is that the Bills are at home, which seems to mean that the people who spend their hard-earned $$$ to watch them HAVE to be disappointed. At all costs. No matter what. Bungles 27- Home losers 17 And I remember fondly when a game at Rich Stadium was an automatic loss for the visitor.
