Sure. It's just awfully fishy that these people waited until now to express their anger. They'd have a bit more credibility if they held these rally's last year, and also they weren't holding up racist signs about the president.

Well, the hardest part of holding any protest or rally is getting the word out. Advertising it. Sending out the message that there is a rally or protest. Fox News and conservative radio offered that for free. So lets say someone did pay some money to Freedomworks to pay for this (as they likely did, but cannot be proven). What would that money be spent on? Advertising the protests, of course. Providing advertising for a protest as well as detailed information on times and places is sponsorship. Glen Beck practically begged people to show up for it. Think about that.. These tea parties were definitely corporate sponsored. I equate it to Disney trying to look cool with graphite. Very grassroots of them, very "of the people and for the people".

Well its also because I'm getting bored of repeating myself, and that is all a response to that post would be. Spending on green energy is not only an investment in jobs, but it's success is essential if this planet is to survive, even if you are hell bent on destroying it. It's also investing in research and information. So if you don't enjoy this money being spent on green energy I think that you should also protest other government funded science research. Again, do tell, what other options do we have? Leave it be? You should know as well as any, because you work in it. No matter what, the health cares system needs to change. People always complain about LA-Las Vegas... but I think in order for this to eventually be a national/cross country system, you have to start small and build it up over time. So ya, start with NY to DC and LA to Vegas and over time connect the two
