  1. Not that this is the right place to discuss this ... but what about things that don't require spending? Protecting National Forest, or passing a few laws that put caps on car emissions (ya that ads a lot of time to the yearly inspection). Even just a tax discount for green companies. A few little things like that can go a long way.
  2. What needs defending in this thread? LaBillz thinks Obama has 4 fingers up his ass, and other than that everyone ready to hang Obama for treason even though no one has been convicted yet. Not that its even Obama's job to convict anyone. So Fastback speak up. What injustices in this thread need attention? And still no one has responded to my thoughts that legal opinion and advice to something illegal could potentially be seen as conspiracy to commit felony. Not that I'm for or against prosecuting these lawyers... but what I am !@#$ing for is at least looking at the possibility of such a thing. A little research never hurt anyone (except the guilty). P.S. LaBillz.. I was watching Barney Frank speak today. I'm not sure how you think that guy can be the overlord of anything. He barely can grasp the English language, much less tell anyone what to do. And Pelosi is dumber than a pile of bricks, I'd be impressed if she can get her own staff to do what she wants, much less the President.
  3. I can accept a maybe. I am a yes, obviously. Anyways so now the question goes to: do you not think we are better safe than sorry in regards to taking action? I think that is a fair question to ask.
  4. I have to say your arguments come off sounding like a new earth creationist. They say "the science is bad", and you say "the science is bad" and you come off looking like you are on the same side. Can you fault me for that? So come out with it then. Yes or no to anthropogenic global warming? We are literally in the ticking time bomb scenario if the answer is a yes, and if you say no, then you will have contradicted "I never said man didn't cause global warming". I'm curious.
  5. But can he play football?
  6. Do you say that because you have reason to think they are two plots... or because you want them to be two plots? Anyways, all I wanted to do was spread a little doubt on this.
  7. http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_...wer-canard.html Here is a guy that refutes that claim... for what it's worth.
  8. Not that I've ever watched a pageant, but knowingly? Come on really? You're telling me those blonds on stage know anything about what they are saying, much less the consequences of them? You've got to be yanking my chain.
  9. Sure let's call names, that will get your point across. Anyways, the left attacks this guy all the time. His stimulus bills was not big enough, his stance on gay marriage is too weak, he doesn't support marijuana, he's not pushing for the prosecution of Bush's officials, his NSA and spying policies are really angering a lot of people on the left. He's performing immigration raids, the war in Iraq is still going on. Call him what you want, but "among the most liberal politicians" is not an accurate statement. he's pissing off a lot of lefty's
  10. Stop trying to push me further left than I am.
  11. I think you are fairly center, or at least reasonable. The only thing I don't understand about you is why you don't think man caused global warming. I think it's the weirdest thing you think that way. We'll revisit that one of these days though. But again, I love how everyone is telling me what I believe. It's becoming entertaining.
  12. We could make a whole team of DT's.
  13. I hope by "he" you were not referring to me? I dare you to find me one post where I called McCain conservative. In fact during the election I complimented and said I'd vote for him if Obama didn't just blow him out of the water. (also the crazy VP turned off any options of me voting for him) Dude whatever if you want to hate, but get your facts straight.
  14. Uhm... who's ratings didn't go down after the election? But yeah Fox not news really does have really high ratings. It's a real symptom of everything that is wrong with this country right now.
  15. Yes, Obama goes way back with those people. He's been friends with them for years. Buddy buddy, closed door deals and all that. I'd love to know where you got that theory from, Seeing as how two of those people endorsed Clinton during the primaries. And I do not think Obama and Pelosi even knew each other before the election. My opinion is that Obama hates Pelosi. Her very existence and far left stance really kills the bi-partisanship he's trying to achieve. (example: http://www.newsweek.com/id/186961). She's crazy far left and he's a centrist. They do not get along well.
  16. Who is this four fingered hand you keep talking about? Do you have names? Why four the way? No love for the thumb by?
  17. My situation was hypothetical, and unrealistic. If you didn't notice the lawyers were being fed to cannibals. I guess you can argue with it if you want. I hope you win that argument.
  18. Obama has smoked pot before, in past years he's said clearly that marijuana needs to be legalized. Last month he just laughed off pot legalization as a joke. So if you ask me, he's doing his best to stay politically correct on these things. I'm sure citizen Obama would love to toss Bush and Cheney in the slammer and throw away the key. President Obama, however is well aware that this will cause strife and division in the country he is in charge of. I doubt he is interested in seeing things fall apart over this. He's trying to be careful about this.
  19. Well thanks for being the only one to see my point. That's a plus. Anyways, do find a quote from Obama where he said prosecute lawyers for legal advice. Barack Obama said "With respect to those who formulate those legal decisions, I would say that that is going to be more of a decision for the attorney general within the parameters of various laws" So go on believing articles that take quotes of context if you wish. But a "legal decision" is not the same as an opinion. Also, as far as getting prosecuted for just having an opinion you may want to read the definition of conspiracy. http://law.justia.com/virginia/codes/toc1802000/18.2-22.html Stop what? All I was saying is that even if these lawyer are arrested, tortured, hung, and eaten by cannibals just for having an opinion, more will come along and give more legal advice. Money makes people do that kind of thing.
  20. You are probably best off just learning a CMS. I'm guessing you don't want like 1 page with some text and images. You want like forums or image galleries or a blog or whatever. So building those is complicated. A CMS solves that. Drupal I think is really great to learn. Plenty of modules and themes to download and install. Joomla is also really good. And I think Wordpress is really stepped up from the simple blog software it used to be. There's a few other good ones out there, but those are ones I've used and respect. The biggest thing you want is a good community of support. I think all three have that.
  21. Why? Are they going to stop paying lawyers to do that or something?
  22. Ok crazy guy. Whatever you say. Obama didn't read the stimulus. I believe you. Good boy. Now go have a lollipop.
  23. Yep. Good thing this pres has actually read the Geneva Convention.
  24. Bah whatever. Peters is a good player. The Eagles got themselves a nice LT, and I'm a bit jealous.
  25. I'm not sure what you are talking about.. but the other day I was watching countdown, she came on and said something like "this is just pure racism by the conservatives". Ya, I had to turn that off, it was pretty dumb.
