  1. Yeah I like Dick as a person. He seems very smart and is probably pretty good to work for. He can't win games though, and his techniques don't seem to work on the field. On top of that he seems a bit unwilling to to change ever, so there isn't any hope he'll updates his tactics with the game. So there just isn't much hope the Bills can win with the guy at the helm. End of story.
  2. Gee man its in your merriam-webster, look it up. Didn't you know words had multiple definitions. Or when I call you gay do you really think you are a happy person? ---- Teabagger (Noun) Synonyms: nutcase, psycho 1. Illogical republican who obeys Fox News and Rush Limbaugh without thought or question. 2. Someone who puts their unwanted balls in your mouth. (see also: Republican)
  3. thank the good lord for WECK. though i was sad they played the yankees game over covering the draft.
  4. heh. i'm entertained that this is even a subject of interest to anyone.
  5. there are nutso's in every bushel of apples. .. only real problem i see is limbaugh/hannity don't seem to discourage this stuff.
  6. Your signature for one. Are you aware the report that produced that data was commissioned by the Bush administration? Additionally there was an equivalent report about crazy lefties that came out, but you do not complain about that one.
  7. Stop avoiding the question.
  8. I asked if we torture. Period. Do we torture anyone? Is it U.S. policy to torture?
  9. Lets break this down one line at a time, we'll go slow for you... So first, are you saying that this country does not have a long-standing public policy of not torturing?
  10. You are off on a different planet. You pretend to be rational but in reality you are far from it. When stuck and unable to win the argument at hand you resort to name calling. Are you denying Bush said we don't torture? Are you denying there exist numerous military memo's saying we don't torture? Are you denying that not-torturing people has been a U.S. policy for the better half of a century? Are you denying what we did was illegal? Stop with the name calling and come out with it. What is it exactly that you are denying? A rational person when slapped in the head with undeniable facts acknowledges them and revises their opinion. You are not rational.
  11. So that means we can torture him? Anyways, there re public statements and memo's galore publicly stating that this country does not torture. Waterboarding if its torture or not is illegal.
  12. What manual? Link? Anyways... boy would Bush argue with whoever tortured him if he knew about it. "This government does not torture".
  13. Just so we're on the same page.. what status were the prisoners at Guantanamo? What status do you think KSM was under? Prisoner of war, non-combatant? (I could not find the answer.. I think he's enemy)
  14. Cuz Japan and Iraq are not international?
  15. The truth hurts, don't it?
  16. Shep Smith said it very well... we don't get to torture. This is America, and we do not torture. We've signed treaties on it, prosecuted others for doing it. We are above torture, and can not do it.
  17. Are you not reading the thread? In 1947 when we sent the Japanese to prison for 15 years for waterboarding.
  18. Ok. In 1968 a soldier was investigated and court marshalled for waterboarding a Vietnamese prisoner. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...6100402005.html
  19. Anyways here is your precedent. 1983, They thought it was legal. They were convicted. Also, the Bush lawyers knew about this case. http://www.pubrecord.org/torture/854-doj-p...-prisoners.html
  20. Ok sure. In 1967 a Supreme court decision ruled that interracial marriage was legal. When did anyone rule waterboarding was legal?
  21. Ok sure. Would previous precedent set by prior convictions against waterboarding count as demonstrating that the interrogation methods used were illegal before the legal opinions were given?
  22. You know we sentenced the Japanese to prison for 15 for waterboarding... right?
  23. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...ml?hpid=topnews
  24. Here's a sad story http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/co...t_id=1003965876
  25. Lol. Obama had a hearty debate on this issue before releasing the memo's. He did not take it lightly. For every person he find with the opinion of this guy, he can find someone of the opposite view just as easy. but erynthered won't read those opinions
