Yep, it got very TMZ-ish and politicized in my eyes. Interesting. I was definitely envisioning Ralph Wilson Field at New Era Stadium.

A couple things about the Jacksonville game: - That PI call was bad, he was making a play on the ball. - EJ did not put us in a 21 point hole. Jax kicker missed an XP so it was 20 points! - The defense got a pick-6 to give us the lead back. - EJ's second half wasn't bad (and was actually a nice recovery), but it wasn't good enough to forget those 3 series in the first half. - It was one game.

It is a New Era in Bills ownership though.

Food for thought as far as 'winnners' and 'losers': Tyrod has a tremendous amount of respect for #12 in Boston, who has always had pretty team friendly numbers. He also witnessed firsthand what Mr. Flacco's contract did to the Ravens roster. Tyrod clearly wants to make enough to protect his future, especially considering the average NFL career, but he wants to keep his supporting cast because he knows that's best for everyone. He doesn't care about being the highest paid QB, he wants to be the highest performing QB.
