  1. They're going to be the exact same feed though...
  2. Honestly, I'd prefer that the QB we take remind me of someone who has a ring.
  3. It was a joke about the uproar here surrounding the Gillislee tender. Sorry.
  4. I think he has a shot at being our RT, honestly. We kept him on the roster (not PS) last year. They see something in him.
  5. That's an awfully definitive statement. How long have you know Rosen?
  6. My comment had nothing to do with anything you have said in this thread. Thurman asked a question, I gave him the answer.
  7. I'd imagine he was referring to the Miami game with 601 yards of offense that came right before he was benched for the Jets finale.
  8. 2nd round tender I suppose? Can you original round tender a UDFA?
  9. Great! He was one of the few I was hoping for in my plan.
  10. He seems to have an obsessive love for Oklahoma in general. He talked trash on twitter to a Texas recruit!
  11. Wasn't that because of Kenny Stills?
  12. And waiting until the roster bonus is paid and then trading him after 6/1 costs the Bills $13.64M over the next 2 years. Not $23M.
  13. The Kid from Houston was still on the board. No worries.
  14. Look, you do what you've gotta do to get the guy. Cut Tyrod, cut Peterman, here's our draft: 21: R1P21 QB MASON RUDOLPH OKLAHOMA STATE 22: R1P22 QB LAMAR JACKSON LOUISVILLE 53: R2P21 QB LUKE FALK WASHINGTON STATE 56: R2P24 QB MIKE WHITE WESTERN KENTUCKY 96: R3P32 QB KYLE LAULETTA JR. RICHMOND 123: R4P21 QB RILEY FERGUSON MEMPHIS 160: R5P21 QB LOGAN WOODSIDE TOLEDO 168: R5P29 QB BRANDON SILVERS TROY
  15. Oh I know. Just ironic that literally 2 QBs met that criteria. And only 1 did if you also consider lost fumbles.
  16. He wouldn't have their Defense or ST's to carry him to victories here. It's actually kind of scary how similar their numbers are in '15 & '16. Smith had a great year last year though.
  17. Exactly 1 QB on that list hit 30+ and 10 or less.
  18. If Smith had his numbers in '15 and '16 in Buffalo instead of KC he would be in the middle of being run out of town right now.
  19. Foles is what can happen when you design an offense to your QB's strengths and put good weapons around him and a good OL in front of him.
  20. I just don't see it that way. Our biggest needs are ILB, DT, CB, & WR. That's why I said front 7. We don't need LB's across the board, per se, but as of the new league year we will have exactly 1 ILB on our roster: Xavier Woodson-Luster. and we will have 3 DTs on our roster: Washington, Lewis, and Hatley. We also only have 2 CBs on our roster in Tre White & Breon Borders.
  21. Units? Front 7 & WR Corps.
  22. Can't play that game. Watson likely would've been league MVP if not for a freak non-contact practice injury.
  23. Yeah, I'm considering swapping Hernandez for James Daniels who seems to be there more in sims anyway. There are a few interior OL that are acceptable, and any could be plugged in there. Hernandez, Daniels, Wynn, Smith, Ragnow, etc. I think there will be several deals structured with heavy 2nd year hits, but for now I went with rough expected AAV's.
  24. Yeah, there's a few ways to balance it. Whether they want to preserve future picks or current picks depends on how they feel about the depth of the respective classes I suppose. I structured it assuming we wanted to keep our picks this year, to the extent possible.
  25. Trades into premium picks in drafts with premium players come at a higher price for the team moving up. Since 2011, trading into the top 2 for a QB has come at an average cost multiplier of 128%. Trading into the top 10 has had a multiplier closer to 109%. Since in this scenario we are trading to pick #2 for a QB, it is likely that our offer will need to be worth ~130% of that pick (93.83 * 130% = 121.98). 21, 22, 96, 2019 1st, and 2019 3rd have a total value of 122.36, which is why I suggested that it would be the cost.
