I absolutely agree with you. He does have enough leg to make that kick. But at 60 it’s a calculated risk. Not a gimme by far. I would have been fine with giving it a try. But I do think McD wasn’t scared. He went in the other direction and I think it was a good call given the specifics I mentioned like our worn out defense. Context is just about everything.

I assume you mean Tennessee. I lived there for four years between 1976 and 1980 when I was in graduate school at what was then Memphis State University. Great city. Great mix of cultures.
