Are coaches always to blame - McD, Frazier & Daboll?
Billsfan1972 replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
Here's the original thread..... So let me get this out of the way first. I am confident about Sunday, but never can be 100% sure.....😜 But I'm already ready to blame coaching should anything go wrong. When Allen doesn't play well (except probably the 3 ints vs. Atlanta & Jax games) I'm always ready & going to blame Daboll. Not fair, but seems we've seen it this year almost always after a great game, that play calling (especially redzone) seems off the following week (yep could have been weather too i.e. NE). Last weekend McCarthy & coaching took much of the heat in the Dallas/SF game. I just hope that there is no reins put on Allen this (and the following two games this year😜) and then posted this: I'm a fan and asking a question. I have the utmost confidence in the Bills offense and most times when things don't go well I blame Daboll. If KC has long drawn out drives and converts too many 3rd & 4th downs, I will blame Frazier. Just an observation and my opinion. Let me apologize to you...... Again I am posting my opinions and yes concerns. Go ahead and call it a LAMP thread, but geez, not too far off (though yes I was worried too about the Offensive side and pointed out two series I was not happy with, which BTW so did the "Loot at me" poser Romo on the telecast). This is a Fan Board & I've been one for a long long time. If you don't like it ignore. -

How about we agree to disagree (or just ignore me)? If it makes you feel superior, so be it.... -

And you're a mensa member? I comprehend just fine. The issue is you seem to have a problem with my threads & posts. I have worried about weather (nice that wasn't an issue yesterday), but generally the threads I have started have been pretty much spot on. I am just a fan, don't dive too much into the X&O's, but do review stats. BTW I too had a post about Diggs, and sadly he was MIA yesterday (outside the 2-point convert). Please put me on ignore. I'll post I'm sure more about how upset I am about yesterday, but then you won't hear/see from me until September (or later). -

No Davis bobbled the ball and did not have complete possession. Also Romo described two Bills offensive possessions as just too conservative and they were both times 2nd & 4 or less and called runs. They were @ 7-7 and the Bills first possession of the second half. I was apoplectic and telling my friends how stupid they were. Those are small things to quibble about. The last 13 seconds was unbelievable incompetence by the coaching. -

I guess I really missed the point, huh???? Yep I'm just giddy today😡. I'm numb, depressed & pissed. Doesn't take away from the thread I made & what I was concerned about. -

There were plenty of other mistakes one can point to, but the last 13 seconds were just terribly managed, no if ands or buts. Sorry a kick down to the 5 and 20 yard yard return leaves 7 seconds on the clock. No QB is getting into field gal range with 7 seconds. Those two plays were served on a platter to Mahomes. -

Sorry but as I posted, yet again it came down to inept coaching with 13 seconds left...... I am gutted right now, but that was my thread Friday and the one thing I kept thinking may happen and this would be the result. Really do you think I wanted to be here & post this???!!! -

Just listened to Bill Simmons podcast and predictions. He said almost everything right and agreed with him. Unfortunately still went with KC (which is good because he had NE last week). Said the same about the Bills defense and questions as to who the Bills faced at QB. Means very little, but a good listen. First 30 minutes was a Ringer Staffer who's a Bills fan.

Asking others for opinions..... You're right (and said it in the original post that I am ready to blame coaching), as far as I have seen, Allen has had very few stinkers the past two years. He was not good vs. Jax and just weird set of circumstances vs. Atl. Yes for the most part I though bad play calling has reared it's ugly head a # of games. When you are convinced the Bills are the best team, if they lose, yes will be looking for blame. I don't want to see that this Sunday. -

Naw I do..... I think you miss the point. But tired of this circular argument when it comes to Allen. I btw refuse to say/use/write the L word. -

Because I believe it as we see what Allen is capable of (at least vs. NE😜). -

Can't help yourself (just like me). I have not and will not use the L word.😜 I've blamed the coaching on every bad game Allen has had since day 1!!!!!!!!😜 Tennessee said they knew exactly where the Bills were going on the play. There were 3 titans lined up on the side Allen went. Okay Hot Seat is wrong. Will coaching be blamed???? Is that better? -

Hot seat as in firing, of course not. But that will be the talk Monday. The 4th down play vs. Tennessee was a coaching blunder. Yes Allen slipped, but was unorganized and you could tell the Bills were not prepared. However I am posting just for discussion as I am confident. I couldn't think about the right words.... Yes if they ***** up they'll hear it. I am not using the word, but Coaching will hear about it. -

Referee tendencies could lead to physical Bills vs. Chiefs game
Billsfan1972 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
The problem is that when you commit a foul it should be called (particularly PI & Holding Receivers). It is ticky-tack fouls like holding on linemen that bother me. The best thing honestly that can happen is that they do call 1-2 defensive holding penalties early on both teams (if they are aggressive), telling them they can't get away with it and force them to adjust. -
Yep she's the 21st seed and good for her. Tough opponent the next round. Referred to a the "worlds richest tennis star" in some articles.

Divisional Round: Buffalo at KC Sunday at 6:30
Billsfan1972 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
And that is what I have said. No idea really about this defense. The concerns are: They did not get too many sacks Allowed some big plays (runs particularly) Bend, don't break may not be good enough vs. Mahomes Third & Fourth down (saw it vs. NE) Beat up on bad/rookie/green QBs A lot of bad weather games Hope they hold KC <30, because I think the Offense can score (and will need to) over that. -

And in each one I think it was the play calling that cost the Bills. Let's hope that & the refs don't come into play on Sunday.
