We need a TD on this drive, let go Allen and offence. Davis looks great
-
Good stand after the catch down to the 3-4 yard line, I still believe Lamar makes his mistakes when we send smaller quicker guys and force him to make quick decisions
-
Bills need to continue send extra guys

Refs could have made up the non holding call, but they are out to screw the Bills and help Ravens
-
Gameplan is to hit Allen , even late and refs allowed late hit. If that was Mahomes it would have been called

This board continues to beat the crap out of McD re: 13 seconds game.
Correct me if someone has the definitive word on this, but my understanding is that McD told Heath Farwell to have Bass squib kick with 13 seconds left (which would have forced the returner to pick up the ball and return it, running the clock down well below 13 sec and ending the game) but Farwell failed to get the call in to Bass. Taiwan Jones said later he "could not believe" Bass was kicking it through the end zone.
So if my understanding is correct, McD made the right call and Farwell screwed it up. McD courageously took the heat (called it a "learning experience for all ")and refused to throw Farwell under the bus (although he fired him "Leslie Frazier style" quietly later). Bass has never been pushed to talk as far as I know.
So instead of continuing to rip McD for 13 seconds, he should be commended for not shunting the blame on his ST coach Farwell, who (my understanding is) totally pooped the bed. McD manned up and took the blame even though Farwell did the deed. That's the guy I want at the top of my organization.
If someone has the actually documented facts on this, chime in, but the whole 13 seconds thing has been misrepresented for 3 years IMO.
Sorry but McDermott screwed up the 2 plays after that. They could have even has their players hold and take 5 yard penalty over giving up long pass to Hill and then having his DB'S guard the sideline and give up the inside or middle of field when KC had timeouts left was stupid
Unless he wins the next 2 games then he needs to go

PFR has recently updated their AV (Approximate Value) metric now that the 2024 regular season has concluded.
Below are links to the previous four updates, which detail the methodology and provide snapshots of team standings at various points throughout time.
These earlier posts serve as a valuable reminder that evaluating draft classes can be a challenging task, as the true impact of these players often takes years to fully materialize. With three seasons of data from the 2022 draft class now available, we can more confidently draw conclusions about the draft classes from 2018 to 2022 and the trends they reveal.

I complained about defence before this game, but I thought they played well outside of the first drive. I'm concerned about stopping Henry and really believe we should insert Williams in as 3rd lb to add more size

McDaniels seemed to get the most out of Tua, who seems like a average QB at best.

The Rams was the only bad game they played and it was coming off that big Sunday night win that clinched the division.
They were smothering the Lions until later in the game up 35-14 when they went prevent to force them to chew clock, and the Pats had 14 points until the end of the game when Buffalo went prevent to force them to chew clock.
This whole narrative of the Bills D being awful lately is 100% horsespit.
We shall see, I do believe the Bills defence can be fine if they continue to get turnovers. The pass rush has just not been there all season and Nix is a mobile QB who is playing with confidence right now. We are in better situation in terms of health.

Total B.S.
Rams and Lions chewed them up and even Pats at home moved the ball and scored.

they played very well against the Jets until McD started putting in the 2nd and 3rd stringers (I know, not saying TOO much, but still…)
How did they do against Lions/Rams and even Pats

Any team the Bills play will be capable at this point. Nothing easy in the playoffs. The offense and Josh Allen will be the key to the Bills success this post season and that hasn’t changed a bit.
I would agree that our offence needs to carry the mail and I think this Broncos defence could be the best in AFC right now

Nix played against KC's 2nd and 3rd stringers today.........i wouldn't get too worked up about it.
..........according to who?!?
Nix was making some really good throws, this will not be an easy game for sure. Our defence has been brutal in the past 2 months of the season

It was a 1 point game until inside the 2 minute warning before halftime.
When the Broncos went up 21-0 I think the Phins started mailing it in.
I'm concerned about the Broncos pass rush and Nix playing very well. This is going to be a tough out, because our defence has not played well in a long time and if we get behind then that will allow them to pin their ears back and go after Allen. Most sacks in the NFL and defence travels well in the playoffs

Joe Brady may very well go down as one of the greatest offensive minds in the history of football. He has done what no other team in the history of the NFL has done...become prolific in a historical context with no true #1 WR, no 1,000 yard WR and no 1,000 yard rusher thru 16 games.
Essentially, he has created the NFL version of "Total Football" that was pioneered by The Netherlands with their great "Orange Crush" teams of the 1970s with Johann Cruyff as their star. Anybody can be the "go to guy" in any given week, and anyone can make the key play. You cannot simply "take away" one player, the Bills offense is diversified in a way that no other offense has been in the history of the NFL. Just like on those Netherland teams, they don't have true "positions" as thought of by other teams. People are lining up all over the place to create matchups that favor the BIlls dependent on who they are playing.
Think I am going too far? I am not. Consider:
- Points per drive. The 2024 Bills are averaging 3.12 points/drive - In the history of the NFL, only the 2007 Patriots have averaged more at 3.19. The only other teams above 3 are the 2018 Chiefs, the 2013 Broncos and the 2001 Rams. All of them featured multiple stars and HOF players. We are essentially doing what the most prolific offenses in NFL history have done without the supporting casts to do it.
- 2024 Bills tied an all-time NFL record with 8 straight 30+ point games.
- 2024 Bills tied an all-time NFL record with 13 different players catching a TD pass.
- 2024 Bills set a franchise record for most points and TDs in a season and have the highest points per game at 31.8 thru 16 games
- Josh Allen leads the NFL in EPA/play
- 2024 Bills set a franchise record for 40+ point games with 4
- 2024 Bills set a franchise record for 30+ point games with 12
Brady is the very definition of doing more with less and doing it in ways where no one person can be keyed on by the defense, meaning they have to be prepared for anyone to beat them at anytime. This was never more apparent than during the Lions game when Ty Johnson, a 3rd down RB was our leading receiver with over 100 yards, our "#1 WR" Amari Cooper wasn't even targeted and the Bills rolled up 559 yards of offense and 48 points and were so unstoppable that it forced the opposing coach to try a desperation onside kick with 12 minutes to go in the 4th quarter only down 10 points.
I am not sure there has ever been a better job done at OC in NFL history considering what Brady had to work with and how he fit together his gameplans to attack the opposing teams weaknesses and create an ever shifting target for who they would try to stop on offense. The level of absurdity with how good this offense has been with a bunch of "no names" for the most part on it is absurd. Patently absurd. If Brady does not win assistant coach of the year in the NFL, they should just throw the award away because it has no meaning.
I will hold out until the playoffs, I'm still not sold on Brady and think he can he too run heavy. I hope he proves me wrong

Defence has been terrible , this will not get it done against good teams
