Exactly. Given he's out for the season and Fred at least looking like he's out for next week and the bye, now is Brown's time to shine. I like Spiller, he's a quality and upstanding guy and I wish him the best but I would rather us have a productive rotation that doesn't rely on a big play here or there after so many head scratchers.

Firstly, measures need to be taken where Saint Doug's input is next to minimal in the offensive line meetings. Secondly, Pat Morris needs to be canned.

Like I posted in the gameday thread, I now have zero problems with the trade now. We all knew he had talent coming into the draft and he certainly proved it with the Lions game. But that final drive? He showed possession of every clutch quality. The great post route for 20 prior to the 2 minute warning. A prevented interception on a lazy ball down the sideline. A mega third down conversion and then the toe tapping game winner. I just hope we find a QB within the next four seasons to maximize his talents and the trade.

And now I have absolutely zero problems with them trading two firsts for this kid. The Lions catch was unreal but my god this kid has the clutch gene.
