  1. Right after we fire McBeane, then hire Sean McVey and Howie Roseman.
  2. Russia's point man for relations with the United States said on Monday that all of President Vladimir Putin's conditions must be met in full before the war in Ukraine can end, suggesting Moscow is playing hardball with U.S. President Donald Trump. Russia's foreign minister drove the point home, saying that while Moscow was ready for talks with Ukraine, results could be achieved only if the "fundamental reasons" behind the nearly three-year-old conflict were resolved. Russia's starting position for peace talks is concede to all of their war goals as a precondition for peace talks. Which is completely in line with Russia wanting to integrate ex-Soviet countries into a Russian dominated economic bloc to rival the US, Europe and China.
  3. Unprecedented? *Googles for 45 seconds* Barack Obama's approval from February 9-15, 2009 was 64%. George W Bush's approval from February 9-21, 2001 was between 57% and 62% What's "unprecedented"?
  4. So we're bringing in people with different DL philosophies and more press/man oriented coverages. Sounds great. Where do I sign up? Looks like McD realized his scheme is lacking with or without elite play from the Safety position.
  5. Well *****. This move smacks of disciplined, long term decision-making. That's the last thing I want from the Jets.
  6. The Chiefs want their garbage time TD really, really bad.
  7. This game makes me feel good on multiple levels. The first is the Chiefs not even bothering to get off the ***** bus for the chance at NFL immortality. The second, oddly, is a feeling of gratitude for not having to watch our Bills go up against this Eagles team in the Big Dance.
  8. Vic Fangio is a great defensive mind. Miami have descended into a caricature of everything that's wrong with America. All wallet, no balls.
  9. Jalen carter has 10.5 Career Sacks. What the hell is everyone drooling over?
  10. Was going to go to an SB party with the other half. But we both caught colds that we're getting over. So somewhat mercifully, we had to bow out. Now we're having a quiet night together doing what we want.
  11. RIP. No Bills coach in the modern era was asked to do more with less, or did more less.
  12. Daily Mail: President Trump's Peace Plan has leaked allegedly. Highlights: -Ukraine is barred from joining NATO. -Ukraine must withdraw from Kursk. -Ceasefire on April 20. -May 9th, Ukraine and Russia make a joint declaration of agreed conditions, after which Ukraine is encouraged to stop mobilizing and end martial law. -Ukraine must recognize all Oblasts annexed by Russia as lawful Russian territory. This would mean Russia would gain huge tracts of Ukrainian territory it hasn't actually conquered. There are no Russian concessions other than Ukraine may get to join the EU in 2030, and a DMZ is established between Russia and Ukraine, policed by the EU. I don't think this is real, because it's such a pathetic deal for Ukraine, they might decide to take their chances with just European support.
  13. So far, these original thoughts look an awful lot Neoliberal, trickle down BS.
  14. Honest question. How does he generate pressure? Is it scheme? Does he know how to scout snd develop DL?
  15. Hahahahahahahahahaha, no really, this is American First? We're going to take over Gaza, chase out all those poors, then gentrify it with beach front condos stuffed full of yuppy money? These dipshits have lost it so hard they think they can solve Israel v Palestine with investment properties? What a joke.
  16. The best situation is that we don't get involved in occupying territory in the middle east.
  17. Don't worry. The MAGA movement will hold his feet to the fire! People will LOVE it!
  18. That would be a bad idea. Russia (by whatever name it's gone by over the last 120 years), has always had a hardon for railroads and the supporting industries for railroads. Refineries are huge, complicated networks of high quality metalurgy, electronics, computing...not to mention any skilled personnel who are killed or injured when they're hit. They also underpin a critical sector of Russia's commodity driven export economy. The big mistake that most strategic bombing campaigns make is targeting important, but highly resiliant targets (like say, Lutfwaffe fighter production and associated industries in WWII), instead of bombing critical targets until they are eliminated (like say, Nazi ball bearing production or petroleum/synthetic petroleum production and refining facilities in WWII). One route imposes painful, useful short-term effects that provide short term advantages, the other sends Bad Things rocketing through the enemy's war economy, requiring all sorts of painful tradeoffs to avoid catastrophic consequences. We'll see.
  19. So in actual news... Ukraine has adopted a new drone strategy. They are launching large, repeated, attacks against Russia's oil refining infrastructure. They've hit 3-4 refineries in the last week, and are re-engaging previous targets that were only damaged. This is A Big Deal, in that anyone with sufficient drone building capacity, and the right drones, can execute a strategic bombing campaign. In the sense that they can pick a critical segment of the opposing economic and political order, then attack it until it's destroyed, then keep attacking it to prevent repair or rebuilding. No implications there for the coming war with China... And the plan for now is to keep putting the screws to Russia. SecState Rubio and the EU agree to keep up a Maximum Pressure strategy on Russia.
  20. Me too. But I'm not going sprial down rabbit holes or whip myself online if they don't. I watched them lose the superbowls too. This is nothing.
  21. Well, since sports fandom is 100% voluntary, why do you chose to follow such an obviously incompetent franchise of mediocrities? It takes about 100 keystrokes to buy a Mahomes jersey and make an account on ChiefsPlanet. You can leave all us rubes and suckers behind and spend your days worshiping at the altar of Ring Culture.
  22. This is the exact mentality that destroys any fun people have watching sports and taking in sports commentary. Or maybe you're right. Unless one of them wins the Superbowl, there's no difference between Joe Burrow and Nate Peterman. Doom! Angst! Instant Gratification!
  23. Yup, we're doomed, everything sucks, yadda yadda yadda.
