I chose front office.
I'd like my braincells in tact for my office job. I don't want to be headlining CTESPN 2 on X.
The odds are in my favor. Not scared.

I think choosing two is cheating. I’d take the long career. Most players’ careers are very short.
There's no cheating in this fantasy land.

I've accepted the notion that the Bills won't take a WR until the 2nd round or later. There's probably going to be a starting-caliber center there at 28 who will be Allen's reliable big ugly in the middle for the next 10 years.
The Bills have the culture and coaches in place to mold young OLmen right now. McD fired Dorsey last season because he wanted to get back to more complimentary football, which he then found with Joe Brady and the renewed running game. They'll continue that trend in this draft.
I think they'll then grab the best WR on their board in the 2nd. That guy will probably still have an elite trait like speed or size, which they can develop into a good starter or "matchup problem" (as a term we've heard recently). This is a deep WR class, so Beane is confident they get two offensive players who will contribute from day one.

I'm a HUGE fan of the video games and know all the backstory, etc., to the show...but don't have Amazon.
I may have to cough up the $$$ to get the show.
Still finishing up the re-done "SHOGUN" on FX, which has been excellent.
Not "$$$"....more like "$"
Just buy one month and watch the show, it's worth it. When we hear about a show we want to watch, we "rent" it for a month then cancel, costs less than eating out for lunch.
Shogun is awesome.

Front office. I could do that job forever.
Player. Could then transition to coach. Could then transition to front office. Forever.
Surprised how many are not choosing player. I mean, in this hypothetical scenario where we have all the skills to competently work any of these roles... I'm playing the game first.

I don't think there was a compelling thing about what McDermott said and nothing leading towards how that would translate to which WR they draft.
I agree it's not indicative of anything in regards to their draft plans. First of all, a matchup problem is just a guy with any special trait that helps them dominate (speed, strength, overall athleticism). Second of all, he says Kincaid can be that matchup problem. So, what I get from this is that they could take a WR in one of the first two rounds or not at all....

We'll only save 100k by cutting Bass and eat $4.32m. He pry gets another year without competition but if he struggles early in the season they'll bring another guy in. Maybe they bring in a camp guy but I doubt it.
This is a logical take, but we're not talking about a lot of money here, either way. Beane always says they're constantly looking to upgrade at every position. So far this guy looks like an upgrade over what the Bills have.

The dude hasn't missed through 3 games, including two 60+ yarders and a game winner. He credits it all to hard work. Certainly won't be expensive.
Watch him and the Michigan Panthers at 4pm Saturday on FOX.
Get 'er done, Beane!
Okay, time for another drink

This, obviously, makes all the sense in the world unless Beane has inside knowledge of WR’s shaking free post 6/1 with Tre’s $$ freeing up.
Its maddening to see some of our social media savvy Bills commentators pretend like this shouldn’t be the case.
We all thought we needed an early round investment WR before we traded Diggs. Now we’ve lost both our outside guys and unless one believes Shakir can consistently win out there, are left with literally Mack Hollins and Justin Shorter.. ideally our WR5 and WR6.
We need two legitimate outside WR’s.. or at least guys who can win outside.. to just have an offense that makes any sense.
People seem to forget about Samuel for some reason. The Bills absolutely need one #1 type boundary receiver

It is a made up stat. Read just a few replies down and the guy who tweeted it admits it.
It's a real problem with people. My first thought when I saw this was "where's the link to the stat? Where's the research? Something? Anything?"
Why do people just read a tweet or watch a video and automatically believe it?
It goes against everything we were thought growing up.

Funny you mention the eclipse because there was a widely viewed "UFO" sighting shared by people who saw..... the shadow of a plane passing above the clouds as they viewed the eclipse
Do the UFO sightings made by experienced pilots that get officially investigated and remain unexplained count as data?

So, not just red helmet. Red helmet with blue facemask. It's a bold statement.
That the designer couldn't understand how to have the tops and the pants have the same pattern of stripe on the side still boggles my mind. Those were absolute clown suits.
The white tops matched the blue pants and the blue tops matched the white pants, but then the players decided to switch it.
That being said, I don't know why the design wasn't seamless throughout all variations, but maybe switching tops and bottoms wasn't as common back then.

Does it though? As I have shown before, teams keep investing tons in WR's and haven't seen the payoff. Look at arguably the best WR in the game in Hill...Miami can't even when their division with him and a 4 game lead late in the season with Waddle, Archane, and Mostert too. Adams didn't do anything for Raiders. Diggs didn't help the Bills do anything other than lose 3 straight years in the 2nd round. Minnesota had both Diggs and Theilen and didn't get over the hump. Dallas had both Cooper and Lamb and won less than we did. Niners didn't get it done with both Aiyuk and Deebo, plus they had Kittle and CMC too.
People always say this about WR, but we are not seeing this translate on the field like people assume it does.
In order to win a Super bowl, you at least need a franchise QB and a star for him to throw to. Top ten type player. That's a minimum.
Or just cheat like the Patriots....

Same with the Bills. They should never change with what they currently have except lose the all blues and reds. If they want to bring back the red helmet for one game a season, then that is fine but IMHO the white helmet is better. The charging Buffalo stands out more on the white helmet. As for the Jets this is a good look. Better than the awful crap they have been wearing these past few years.
On that I can't agree. I'm one of the few people who think the Bills need an entire redesign. Just keep the red, white, and blue

I feel like the Jets are revealing new unis every other season now ... but honestly, those look really good. Just stick with those forever.

Yeah, that's too crazy to me. This QB class isn't great enough for that. Are there really that many teams who are so desperate? Most of these guys are gonna bust...hard. IMO Daniels shouldn't even be a first rounder. But that's probably just my ASU fan bias coming out.
