I made a big batch of homemade Broccoli & Cheese Soup for an old widowed Vet named Peter that I befriended at my local Legion today and the one bowl I ate myself today has resulted in such flatulence that the paint is peeling off my bedroom walls right now. I may have put too many onions in the initial flavour base or it could have been the combination of the Draught Beer I drank at the Legion today. Wife left the bedroom and is now sleeping in the spare bedroom. Oops!!!

Yup. A couple of times when I was young. I don't like it. Very grainy and chewy. I prefer moose and my late Father shot a few of them so I ate it often as I was growing up. After he had not shot a moose in a number of years, a cousin tried to pass off horse as moose to her guests by saying it was the moose my Father shot.. We will remember. Never again. Peasant!!!

I can't watch a game from Germany without muting the TV and putting this on at 11/10...

Ended up doing my cooking yesterday afternoon since it was such a rare beautiful sunny day on the Big Green Egg. Plus I got into the Kraft Draught IPA early. 4 lbs of marinated in EVO & Montreal Steak Spice Elk Steaks. 3 lbs of marinated in Cajun Spice Pork Side Ribs 12 marinated in Soya Sauce, Lemon Juice, Garlic Powder and Rotisserie Chicken Spice Chicken Leg Quarters 4 Red Hungarian Hot Peppers from the veggie garden. I grilled them on the XL BGE and half way through threw a bunch of Hickory Smoke Pellets under them for a 20 minute smoke. I will be eating leftovers and sandwiches from the above for the game. Poor me.
