Wentz is not a top tier QB any way you slice it!!
Point is he doesn't have to be. Plug him in that offense and I think they're good to go!

I think with how high Edmunds was drafted and these pro bowls that I don't think he deserved will make it almost impossible to sign him. He is going to ask for money that doesn’t add up with what you get on the field currently. I like Edmunds as a player and I know he is still young but if he asks to be paid as a top 5 at his position it’s going to be hard to swallow that.
If he plays at the level he did this year, or even a little higher, i hope he prices himself out of here. Our staff does seem to covet "their" guys and keep them around too long sometimes. I definitely dont want Edmunds stretching us out because we feel like hes going to turn a corner that never comes. Hes tall and thats great for passing lanes but cmon are we going to pay the guy top 10 $s. If we have to settle for a better player thats not tall lol then so be it. Or hell snag a tall dude in middle to late rounds thats smart and you think you can develop

'Wentz' is not good grammar, even if you think it's 'fly'. 🧐Wow knowing some outdated grammatical nitpick really shows how much smarter you are then every one else. IQ and grammar are absolutely identical! 🙄

I know most will disagree but Colts will surprise a lot of people offensively. Reich knows what he has in Wentz, and he also knows how the get the most out of him.
Scary team
Give any qb time and they look really good, but Wentz just went from a horrid o line to an elite one. Early comeback player of the year candidate IMO

Its pretty easy to live in Buffalo and view NBA as a dying entity, but since i moved near Charlotte, its really reignited my childhood love for the game that i lost for 20years. I never had an NBA team before, and im like a kid on Xmas when the Hornets are on. Itll never come anywhere near the level of football for me, but its been nice to have something help me curb my NFL offseason blues. Smaller teams makes it easier to jump into a league you dont know and have a sense of whats going on. Thats proli the biggest reason that my friends who never got into football have for not watching.... 52 dudes x32teams, and the most complex strategy sport isnt exactly new user friendly...
GO HORNETS!

Id take a 2nd rder for him... would really help us get that middling running back we need.... someone real.... 3.2 ypc'ey 🙄

Amazing post. Thank you for the solidarity and more importantly thank you for sharing that!
We all have our battles, I have had mine. To hear what you survived, what you have become and the life you have been blessed to live with others is inspiring. I have battled with Depression on and off for a majority of my life, and 6 years ago I was at that point myself. Thankfully a friend and some police officers stepped in, and after a few day hospital visit, I was able to admit my short comings and create a plan to do something to change that. I have!! Every day I try to learn, and every day there are new lessons that seem to need to be taught to me. I am proud of the man I am, what I have achieved, the peace I have found and still search for when I wander, the people I have loved and helped and those that have helped me. I know the hole, I was in it so far I couldnt see any light. So is my avatar odd, sure, but it was meant to be funny and I appreciate you standing up for me in this society that misses the important things only to be outrages by stupid ***** that doesnt matter.
Bills shredder, thank you!
The more i talk about my sstory the more common i realize it is. When people are down like that, theyre convinced nobody else in the world has been... and its just not true. Knowing that those feelings are common with everyone brings a weird sense of relief, and some hope seeing that if you can hang on for a minute, let the brain settle down, that the situation usually isnt as dire as it feels! glad youre here brother, and thanks for sharing!!!

I feel like he walks the troll line very well with his use of words and cold overall response
And his name is way to close to mine. Makes me feel dirty
I remember Undertaker. lol there were more than a few that came to troll during that not so good almost 2 decades....
Im about to change my avatar in solidarity lol.... everyone actively searching to find something that offends them will find it 100% of the time.
Anyhow RIP to a good dude, who absolutely savaged me in FFball several times. Not going to speculate on what happened, but everyone goes through hard times, and it seems VJ did too. Anybody having a hard time should reach out to someone.
I found my peace after a suicide attempt with a train, and losing a limb... not only would i have missed out on a lot, but i wouldve robbed myself of the true peace ive found since then... and finding that came with getting a little help professionally, and from those close to me. Its possible to live a life you never thought possible!!! I know because ive lived it, and its hard to read about someone else missing out.
Im a quirky football nut on a message board but if anyone can identify with this situation and needs help, please reach out and find it... and if youre not sure who to talk to MESSAGE ME, PLEASE!

Yeah. It’s where I’m from. Love San Diego!! I own a house on the beach in La Jolla. Great place to live. I’m Currently living in the Saychelles riding out this pandemic. Hope to return as soon as the recall is complete and we start opening up. Why do you care so much about 619, are you from the area?
Lol bc he was a star for the chargers for a long time in San diego... but I got the feeling that you knew that and are collecting bridge tolls

While I think CTE or maybe opioids may be involved here, I think there may be another aspect that isn’t taken into account by many.
Im sure most have heard ex players say the biggest thing they miss is the locker room and the guys they played with.
The best way I can relate this is with separating military personnel. You go from a person in charge of millions/billions budget with a staff, tons of responsibility and a network of close work associates who provide you with purpose and self respect.
Then you retire/separate.
The military “boat” is fast moving and when someone falls off the side, the people still on the boat make take a moments notice, but they have a mission to accomplish and can’t worry about someone who’s already gone.
Also, you’re left with a VERY narrow skill set that literally only applies to the job you’ve been trained to do. Not much applicability in the civilian world.
This leaves you with no purpose, nothing to base your self worth on, an unusable skill and your network of people you worked with are already into the next thing. Leaving you broken and alone with no mission to accomplish.
I feel that a lot of this applies to the NFL as well. Top it off with the fact that this is probably the first time in their lives when no one worships them or treats them like the premier athlete they were and a social circle used to a certain lifestyle and I can see how a lot of guys just can’t cope.
Every day 22 military members commit suicide. I wouldn’t be surprised if NFL/Pro sports had the same suicide rate (meaning per capita suicides or percentage of the pool of players who commit suicide).
This may be exasperated by drugs/bad decisions but in many cases (at least as far as former military guys are concerned), this is the main underlying issue.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
Nailed it great post, thanks

We need more threads of NFL pundits confessing to the sin of doubting Josh Allen and offering penance for having done so.
Seriously, why is anyone using brain matter to post this stuff? What benefit to this board does it serve to highlight this?
Because WFT else am i going to read while im supposed to be working? lolllll

This offseason hurts every team, but it hurts the best run organizations the least. That means it can actually be an advantage, since I sincerely believe we have a top level front office and top scouts.
Yep, might mean someone slips to us that wouldn't normally be there... especially bc generally the worst FIS are picking towards the top. Every advantage plays to teams that have their **** together!

We've been aggressive with that because we've built up the resources and you can only have so many drafts. At the end of the day, we still want to draft, develop and sign our own, and we're getting to that point where now we don't have to go out and add pieces from free agency, we've got to see how many of the guys we can retain.
"We'll fill in here and there some holes, but I would not anticipate any blockbuster moves of Stef(on) Diggs type, or some of the moves we made the year before in free agency. It's really gonna be plugging some holes depending on who we lose, and then the onus is on us to really to have a strong draft."
Who was it who said this again? Oh, yeah. Brandon Beane.
Beane strikes you as a guy thats going to unwaveringly tip his hand to the rest of the league? lol

The pout your way off a team isn't anything new. It's definitely becoming more in vogue in the NFL.
With that and tight salary caps, players will be flip flopping team to team NBA style real soon.
Hard to compare pouting your way off a team to respectfully asking to be released and being granted it. The roster is devoid of talent, and didnt have to be... he wants a ring, does anyone blame him? Helped the Texans shed $ they couldnt afford in the process
-
I read right here he "annoys" alot of people for being a face of the league and constantly doing charity and loving onhis city... couldn't agree more. He should be beating broads up and breaking his kids arm! Maybe then I'd want him here 🙄 so what if our pass rush is non existent, there's definitely zero role, even rotationally and on 3rd downs, for him here. It's so good that he's going to a division competitor like Pittsburgh likely!!! Phewww really hope we dodge this

he's been coaching for about a decade for different teams in both college and nfl. if he didnt have talent he wouldn't move up.
And teams arent hiring thesse guys for no reason... their success is intertwined, if theyre comfortable flying or sinking with him, then hes the right hire. This isnt a CEO handing a position over to some dumb kid of his, much different. Put it this way, is anyone crying nepotism about Patrick Surtain ii coming out this year? No? Exactly
-
I cant believe im sayin this, but good for him. Hes getting old and it makes me happy to see winning it all still feels that damn good! Hes gunna be depressed for a while when he has to hang em up, to lose whats been your life purpose for 40years would be tough on anyone.
In a way i feel robbed of being able to enjoy his dominant career the way people got to enjoy Jordan and Gretzky... his success was such a damper on my team that i couldnt enjoy it, the way i could enjoy someone like Brees career... easier to watch with him in the NFC now

Re Waddle, are the comps to Tyreek Hill accurate, or a stretch? I don't watch much college football, but I have read that he compares favorably to Hill.
I cant exactly give my opinion on Waddle in this regard, but i think kedarius toney compares pretty well to hill.... likely a unpolished version, but i think he brings that skill set

Jeremy White was saying similar things the other day..I could see other positions obviously too but it is interesting to see the national media now starting to link the Bills to RBs
I've gone from thinking we should, to now thinking it's below priority of the oline, and all positions on DL.
What I will say though is if the Bills decide to take harris/ etienne i'll be excited, I trust the front office, and it'll mean they've made a good decision. (Wouldn't cry about Pitts or kadarius toney either)

I know there's a good population of Bills fans in the CHA area, any fellow Hornets fans?
And this is a long shot, but if anyone knows a decent Hornets board I'd definitely be interested in it. I've checked a few links thatve been total garbage
