  1. I hate the state of race relations in this country.  We have criminal charges for hate crimes, yet the media skates freely while profiting from widening the racial divide.  I dont know what the answer is but it feels too late to fix in my lifetime (im 32).  Too much finger pointing, in all directions.

(Im staying on the point of the article, hang with me) Im White, Christian, straight and male, and am exhausted from being constantly vilified for it.  My feelings on that are just a drop in the bucket compared to how the black community has been treated during this countries existence, then I can absolutely empathize with the frustration they must feel.

Definitely, Gerald Everett and Kalif Raymond are both really interesting fits for us in FA. Underused by their current teams IMO and hopefully shouldn't break the bank either.

Gerald Everett intrigues me.  Maybe Daboll can scheme him into more targets than usual.  Hes big (real big), quick, and athletic as heck.  #s arent too bad contract wise for expected pay

    Mike Preston, The Baltimore Sun

BALTIMORE — National Football League head coaches are spending as much time monitoring their players on social media as they are drawing up and installing plays.

That’s because we are in the “Me Generation” of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter. Hey, look at my new car, new house or new cellphone. That’s me with my dog Butkus, or here I am drinking a cup of coffee. Oh, there I am in front of the new beach house.

Look at me. It’s always about me, me, me …

The irony of the reporter crying about controlling the narrative, and then doing the same thing in this "article" is not lost on me.

I remembered this is a Sportscenter Kid, but never heard the details., but remember being bummed out.  Hopefully that was an easier way to go than living through it awake

I will allow the team to make that decision, but Edmunds on the DL is just about the worst idea I have read.

I am sorry OP - I do not want a freak athlete putting on a bunch of weight to play a position that he is not suited to.

The biggest complaint is that he has trouble shedding blockers and you want to put him right up against those blockers - just a terrible idea.

    🤦‍♂️

Oh you don't want a DL that's never she'd a block in his life 😆😆😆

(Athletic, Matthew Fairburn, paywall, trial available)

I thought I saw this here, but I had a good try at the search function and couldn't find it.  Some points I found interesting:

Describes Moss making the decision to get a pre-game painkiller injection in his shoulder as a Ute sophomore to play against BYU

I wonder if Allen was getting injections in his L shoulder for the next 3-4 games after Las Vegas.  Imma guess "yes".  But they're not side effect free:

-Moss played linebacker in little league and his first 2 years of high school, but he wanted to play running back and was constantly going through the plays and the techniques with his older brother (who played RB) in the backyard and then watching tape of other running backs.  Arian Foster and Marshawn Lynch were two he tried to pattern himself on:

-All the injuries Moss has already played through by the time he got to the NFL: multiple sprained shoulders, sprained ankle, torn meniscus, broken arm (in spring), "cracked elbow".    Being a running back is literally the "hard knock life" and you better be able to not care about hit after hit.

-Even after all those injuries, the Bills didn't have him with a medical red flag:

Very thought-provoking article for me, showing how these kids from big football areas are strategic about positioning themselves for a chance at the NFL, and how much of a beating their bodies take playing college ball.

Random, but im assuming you subscribe to the athletic...... i took advantage of a 3mos for $1/mth.  Its about to end lol how much is it normally.  They dont have a ton of content, but the stuff they do have is a quality product!

Can somebody sell me on Watt? He averaged .88 sacks per game start prior to 2019 and .38 after. His production in rushing the passer is less than 1/2 the level it used to be on a per start basis.

Is the thought he can be rejuvenated by a change in scenery, one more year and he will be even more healthy, playing in a 4-3 will help his production in pass rush, solid run D, play inside sometimes?  Sort of like a better version of Shaq Lawson? Are we getting so excited at his name or what we expect him to bring? I'm certainly interested in this storyline. Just don't know what to make of it yet if he does sign.

My angle is he played 90% of snaps and has been the focal point of preparation by opposing offenses his whole career. Hoping a lower % snaps can keep him healthy happy and rejuvenated. He'll be on a better defense, better coaching and supposedly the best training/ recooperating facilities in the league.

I agree, but I have an iron rule about this: you simply cannot worry about sunk costs. If you don't think your RBs (or whatever position it might be) are good enough, the the fact that you expended draft capital on the position in previous seasons is immaterial when it comes to making the team better.

THIIIIIIIS! Should we have kept Losman around longer?  Singletary is a definitive miss, Moss came on strong but is still unknown.  Harris would keep Chiefs secondary from sitting in soft zones, lining up 10yds off the line.  Respect the run and let Josh eat

I agree.  The way its cool to hate Nickelback or pineapple on pizza, is an in thing with broadcasters. Happens with Tasker too. I mean theres guys i like better, but its hyperbole to say hes the worst ever.  After a few weeks of offseason ill take any Bills or football crums i can get.

I admittedly never closely read that story but the headline just seemed to indicate that he would seriously consider the Browns as if it was a surprise they would be a factor. Almost like he or his agent was asked if the browns would actually be In the mix and they said “sure”

I read alot of folks saying no way hed sign with them because theyre a division foe of his brothers.  I could see that being attractive if he wanted to play opposite Garrett and wanted a team with more security at QB, the fact that hed get to play his brothers 2x a year could be cool for guys like that... they proli fist fought each other for the last slice of pizza as kids, being rivals would be the next best thing if youre looking at the brothers angle
