  1. ^^^Noice hit!

Sunday I hit on my only NFL bet -- Bills ML + Josh over RushYds + Josh TD

Starting to look ahead to College for the week!

Also will be betting Canelo v Charlo this weekend:

I absolutely LOVE Charlo to get knocked down at +198

And secondly but more boring:  Canelo to win by decision @ -120

    My longshot of the night:

    To be 2+ knockdowns total @ +700

Canelo is a master counter puncher, nasty body puncher, Charlo has been inactive for 18mos (plenty of questions around his training).  I think Charlo gets knocked down with (prob body shot), but don't think Canelo has the juice in him to win on KO/TKO... he shouldve put Ryder down in the 6th rd, the guy was a chump, and Canelo seemed more than happy to let it go to judges decision. I see very similar happening Saturday, Canelo cranks it up in the first half of fight, scores his knockdown, then plays conservative chess until the last bell.

Dont like my pick? Fight me about it LOL!

Were you sweating that Clemson FG attempt at the end of the 4th?  What a disappointment.  Yikes…

Nahhhhh im sure he accounted for that 80yd fumble TD and a crazy situation where a kicker was called off the streets and misses a 29yarder hahahaha

@Buffalo716 DM'd me the script when I got nervous in the 3rd lol

Interesting story. It's true that video games are one of the ways that kids first interact with sports nowadays. My kids play soccer. Their coaches taught them technique and ball skills. FIFA taught them tactics. If you turn the level up, you cannot run the ball past the defense. You have to build from the back and down the wings. You have to be patient. If you get a lead, you have to adjust your formation to defend it. It's a lot easier to see this by playing the game than it is by watching TV where all you see is the one player with the ball. Same thing with Madden. I think that some of the old guys on here should give it a try. If they played on all-Madden level they would throw INT after INT by trying to hit these guys that they see on TV and think are open when in fact there's a safety waiting to jump the route.

Yep. I learned club selection and took my initial interest in golf from tiger woods. Was the best drinking game of all time lol

Also can say it took a pretty basic understanding of hockey, and helped me understand what I'm looking at. Cycling the puck for open looks. Not having your forwards bunch up in the middle, dumping the puck and forecheck.

Pretty cool thing for the kids to have around now

The Bills don't need a bonafide WR1, just a significant upgrade in WR2.  Are you saying M Evans is a WR1, because Tampa has C Godwin and M Evans.  LAC has K Allen and M Williams.  Jax has Ridley and Kirk.  LVR has Adams/Meyer and Renfro.

IMO, the best move to upgrade the Bills would be to get a significant upgrade at WR2.  I do think the FO has a budget in mind and OBJ and DHop were above it.

If (big if, but im cautiously optimistic) Spencer Brown can reward Beanes patience this year, and Bernard works out (same cautious optimism), we are all sails ahead at bringing in a legit WR2 IMO. This roster will be about as complete as you can ask for in the salary cap era.

There will be some Tre White questions, some consideration on if Dawkins needs some high end competition brought in, Poyer and or Hyde will be gone (can Rapp step in right away?).  Despite all that, I think our biggest acquisition of the offseason (FA? Finding a way to move up in draft?) should be to bring in another bonafide WR.

I think the Bills need to learn to use the weapons they have before they add another to the arsenal that they already have .

That being said all this talk about RB's not being worth as much money as some other positions IMHO is a crock !! If you disagree just look at what McCafree has done for SF . I watched the Niners last week & McCafree is definitely worth every penny they are paying him & possibly more because i don't know what he makes .

I wanted the Bills to get McCafree i can only imagine what he could have added to this offense as long as he would be used correctly which is what the Bills need to do with the guys they have . Last week it looks as if they stay the course or plan they used it should be a really good season for the Bills offense !!

I think hes the one name you can make an exception on because of how many balls he catches ON TOP of the rush yards

the whole CTE thing is so funny because that crazy doctor who ranted and raved about it then the movie.

studies have show that people who have played any contact sports are 9% of that population, and then about 3% of the population who never played a contact sport have been shown to have it.

that 6% isn't much when talking millions and millions of children every sport season playing contact sports. the study i remember reading back when the terrible movie was out listed sports like basketball, soccer, ice hockey, football, and even water polo as contact sports.

now, i'm sure the chances go up when you play for longer periods but there have not been any studies i've seen where it is "worse" or graded higher due to amount of injury. if you have cte you simply have cte and the symptoms are pretty cut and dry.

also, read a while back that a lot of military folks are getting it, and this included men who are in the heavy weaponry who are subject to the shockwaves of the large calibre munitions.

Not a med professional obv, but i remember during autopsy them saying his was by far the worst case theyve ever seen, and it was polka dotted with dead spots

I have no clue, but having many dead spots sounds a helluva lot scarier than less do

I say we are two games in, and we are a .500 team. I’m not a hater, but I see the big picture. Nothing is certain at this point. Let’s win the next one. Then keep moving. A bit early to schedule any parades, I’m afraid.

The negative knee jerk reaction after a single loss should be a lesson if you want to overreact over a single win

    .

    PSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 16-1 BABY!!!!!

OMG. let it die already. nobody cares about this... who watches this garbage?

i get it, its not the most exciting thing to watch. i try getting into it a little each year, and its a tough watch..... but if they can grind through a decade and figure it out, it would be soooooooooo valuable to NFL play.  QB/OL play is hurting so much in the NFL, if fringe guys (trey lance sticks out, or a lot of these 5th or later picks) can find a way to start in XFL, then stick around for NFL training camps/meetings/prep, theyll be sharpening sword on both sides.

Eagles , Chiefs and Cowgirls...3 of the 4 team =s with better SB odds.  Consecutively.....

iron sharpens iron. this year i dont give 2 chits about the #1 seed. was hoping for as tough of a schedule as possible, and i hope upcoming teams are playing their best ball against us. we need to learn how to win in adversity versus tough teams. tough teams will help push us and sharpen us for the playoffs. obv if we take 1 seed cool, but mentally i wont be cheering for teams to have bad games against us or have key starters out.

if this schedule is an absolute gauntlet, and every team we face plays their best game of the year, and we take even a wild card, ill like our chances. obv if all that happens and we smash the 1 seed, thatd be great too..... but i want the rookies/young guys to keep seeing the field, drawing tough matchups, and elevate their game. Bernard, Kink, S Brown, Torrence, Benford, etc etc

How’s that “big name” RB signing for the Jets looking.

lol they never learn, they juuuuuust did this or probably an even worse version of it by signing a plow horse back, with high mileage

Jonathan Taylor is a bit of a diff situation than those two, IMO. Maybe they can sign him in about 5years to a hefty deal? lollllll

More importantly, Zack Moss had his best day of his career behind the Colts and JT’s OL.

It’s almost like RB play is devalued in the NFL. No way

I havent seen it, maybe the light finally went on. honestly thought he worked his butt off and never panned out, wish dude nothing but success

  11. you know ive seen a lot of innocent 2nd parties to shenanigans, get thrown out of games.... hell, one year me and about 8 dudes went to a game together and got kicked out 90mins before kickoff.

was late december game, buddy went to take a leak, and as he was coming back up the stairs, my other buddy reflexively made a quick snow ball and tossed it underhand down "at" him. we were all in our mid 20s. there was hardly anyone even in their seats, and nobody around us

Erie county sheriff came down, threw both pitcher and catcher out without a 2nd thought.  the buddy plead his case "what would you like me to do here, i had a snowball from a friend thrown AT ME, which i caught?!?!"

Sheriff pointed at the whole row of us, said everybodies out, and ended up arresting the catcher for disorderly because he kept arguing. crazy right!

My point is, ive seen a bunch thrown out, and it always pisses me off.... but at the end of the day, sh*t like this killing happens a few times a year, diff sports/cities, and i kinda get it now.  Feel like you g2 toss anyone sticking outta the pack to keep this kinda crap from happening. A freakin 30yr season ticket fan?!?! how many of us know the bills fan version of that

Even (potentially) feel bad for the other guy. Mild punches right on 'the button' knock people out, and we live in a concrete world.  Alcohol certainly at play, wake up the next day to yours, your families, another families, and the poor sap you never meant to actually cause grave harm too, lives in a whirlwind. Ughhhhh

  12. Monday was my first Bills game in a new relationship.  ENERGY was high. There was screaming, celebration, b'tchin about things she doesnt have the slightest clue about.

Right when i thought it couldnt get worse, this commercial put a rock lump in my throat when the kid was last sitting after a Loss... yet passing it down proudly to his offspring. Man, that was a great commercial, got me all in my feels and was a very accurate representation of my 35yrs of fandom.

Now try explaining this with a lump in your throat to someone who couldnt possibly understand even one of the triggers this one touched off lol

This must be how women feel when their shoes/purse are ruining their life (apparently?)

    Do shoes give PTSD?

Would be nice. No one ever wants to take a quality guy like BIJAN ROBINSON, BUT LOOK AT a mediocre talent laden team like the falcons , who are 2-0 as BIJAN has 170 yards from scrimmage , i heard quoted today, in each of those games.  Guy does not go down or OOB with the breeze.  Still , we saw glimpses of power running today.  It was so great and something we have never had under the beane /mcd staff.  They are great but i just hope they stay focused on what it takes to win when the circumstances affect passing. We saw what too much ineffective passing can result in week one.   COOK. Is a good college back , but a little light in the pros. Great job today tho with Dorsey mixing it up well.

Its the OL, always was. Cook wouldve looked better last year behind this above avg line, as opposed to last years bottom 10 OL

That said, he certainly looked like a guy that can start today. I know the Raiders arent the Jets defense, but holy shizzz, we lined up in big formations and ran the ball successfully when 71k ppl knew a power run was coming.  Cooks just getting started and so is this OL who needs serious time to gel after major shakeups. Get these 2units firing close to ceiling by January and defenses are going to be stresseddddddddd

  14. IVE BEEN POUNDING THIS DRUM FOR 15MONTHS, BUT IVE NEVER WANTED A DRAFT PICK TO SUCCEED MORE THAN THIS GUY.

Were far from out of the woods, hes basically a redshirt sophmore, theres gunna be major learning curves all year.... however, he looked the part today.

People started saying he should be cut before week 8 of his rookie year lol and hes calling a defense that has high output right now, and has an interception! Love how he looks on the blitz.

I hope he wins MVP, Super Bowl MVP, 1st team all-pro generational LB.... and i hope he wind those by throwing the game winning TD on a Philly special this year. All time sack/int leader. Retires at 52, and becomes the US's first three term president with a polygamous staff of First Ladies.

Likely a healthy dose of neuroticism from me, but the slack this guy caught from day 1 was infuriating to me

He reaggravated it. He is probably going to deal with it most of if not all year

freaking idiocy to rush him back the way it appears they did. but its not dumb bad luck, the bungles will always be the bungles with mike brown owning the team. mishap decisions like that seem to always follow the same owners. clev, arz, cinci, jets. some instances are coincidence, but the overall trend is never a coincidence, raw uncut cause and effect, top to bottom
