Hoping you're right but did i miss something? Havent seen anything indicating that

1 rb, 2 TEs, Waller in the slot. that vaunted '13' offense 😆
-
Josh did it cooler with "no"

"by yards % over expected" ??? does that mean on the outside run, if the avg back gets 5 yards, hes getting almost 10yds, or am i misinterpreting it?

its a gamble. you better have several players you like in that range. personally im not a fan of trading back and getting stuck with taking a player thats a lower grade, at a more premier position. trading back puts you at risk of pick purgatory, if you're confident you can use a guy as a serious weapon id rather stand put and just take the guy you like the most.... but again, thats the cost of trading back

Mekhi Becton done as a Jet?
BillsShredder83 replied to Captain Hindsight's topic in The Stadium Wall
thats what i mean. 3k cals is a fairly normal amount, and id say most adult men cant eat 3k clean calories. this guy aint eating 7k cals of chicken rice and veggies. the floor at his passenger seat is likely corpses of McDs and Popeyes bags -
i guess i was a bit vague here. i assumed the only reason theyd look to trade him is $. hes due 7m this year and like 8ish next year, highly underpaid. an elite TE on an extremely friendly team deal... if hes not talking about holding out, why would they deal him? i understand they have minimal picks this year, but not sure how dealing a known strength for draft picks (lotto scratchers) helps a team that is NOT rebuilding... I don't think we could pay him, and I think were gunna have a hard time paying Knox as is.... so why give up assets for a TE, to let a really good one walk, to pay an elite guy elite $. just makes no sense for us. love the player though

kinda sad for the dude. i liked him as a prospect coming out, big boy could really move, fun to watch. sad to see a career spiral over eating problems. if you eat you way outta the NFL imagine what 2 years of not being a pro athlete will do to a guy. hope he gets it under control for his own sake -

He really did look like a stud coming out. If he's really that fat he's got serious issues. They're already so big they gotta eat alot to maintain their weight. Can't imagine eating in such a surplus that on top of being fat you put on 50lbs lol Its def from drinking/eating sugar or junk. Eating 3,000 clean cals even is hard and a FT job -
He'd be by far our most dangerous YAC guy. He wasn't bad last year. Him and judge butted heads over playing time, but he looked untackle-able with the ball in hands. Great guy to get in 4 and 5 wr sets, and a few bubble screens to every game

Devonte Wyatt DT- Could this be our #1 Pick?

Are we splitting hairs about not starting a sentence with capital letters nor using apostrophes? I see those, one mis spelled word and an obvious autocorrect on chargers*. Really stupid if that's why we're writing someone off 🙄 it's a dang message board not a college paper or resume -
My question is for the guys who like Breece Hall but only in the 2nd. Serious question: What is the "savings" in trading back up to get Hall in the 2nd versus, just taking him at 25? In a way I feel like taking him in the 2nd would be just as expensive or maybe more in a way? Can anyone smarter than me weigh in on this? I might be overthinking it @GunnerBill

Just here to confess my sins. I'm vehemently against a 1st rd RB about 360 days a year. Luxury pick at a frivolous position. Then draft day starts to get close and it feels sexy.... its like payday Friday, and I know putting $$ in my 401k is the smart thing to do. Yetttttttt its Friday, and drugs are sooooo much more fun right now LOL I'm quietly in the buy drugs camp, 4 days out LOL thank God Beane runs the draft. Meanwhile I'm kinda hoping Beane goes RB, cause if he does it I'll feel justified. DONT DO DRUGS KIDS! (no matter what @teef tells you)

Tough to decipher if this is smoke. We run a tight ship and not much leaks anymore. Then again last year there was tons of smoke around a very similar back in Etienne. I personally don't feel like it's the best use of resources, but, it's def a sexy pick, and if we pull the trigger I trust our FO enough to be very excited about it. Unlike every 1st rd rb we've taken, I know it would be calculated, and they'd have a helluva plan for him.... not a rush Brandon sell some tix move. Excited to see what we do, no matter what I'll be pretty damn excited

Very interesting! I can't see it, but if Buffalo felt confident enough to pull the trigger on it, I'd be pretty excited. Huge "if" here... but IFFF Buffalo or some other team were to successfully roll this into multiple high picks in a year or two, it'd be very interesting to see it starts trend of sorts. (Again no way I see it, but 3 days to kill. Interesting thought) Hmlp?

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_NFL_Draft I guess the best saving grace of the Maybin pick was it being a pretty terrible draft class anyways. Dareus draft we picked what 3rd? And it's littered with hall of famers

Let’s give Antonio Brown some Million Dollar love.

I was pretty young but I don't remember Dillon being an issue? Dude was a stud loved watching him in Cinci -
I highly doubt this is where hes at mentally. You don't get to the NFL without a mindset of I want the ball every play. Were talking the top .01% of athletes in the world. Their bodies are strong but their willpower is what seperates them from normal human beings.... Im sure he wishes he could get the ball 30xs a game, but we've seen enough dudes burn out fast, and its just not possible to do this over any length of time. Id rather be a WR for 10 years, than play both at a high level for 3 or 4 years, and fizzle out. Gurley s career ended at 26!!!! And was no longer elite after TWWENTY FOUR (24!!!!)

First, he should've been at TC last year, but it is voluntary. Frustrating for sure, and stupid. But acting like he's this untouchable red flag? It's been reported that he's been quietly shopped since Shoen got there. I wouldn't show up either. Dan Jones, Mike Glennon and Jake from. Jason Garret fired week 7. Judge started the year already losing the locker room. No Giant had more than 600 yards receiving. Golladay had zero TDs in that JV offense. NY media is ruthless because you got covid and missed camp. When you do come in your electric, they do nothing to game plan you in. Could you see how this would sour a player pretty fast? Completely toxic environment. Would every player become a malcontent in that scenario? No, but plenty would. The point is theres nobody from last year or this year, that can do the things he does. Homerun threat everytime you touch the ball. Defenses have to scheme specifically around you. While also covering Diggs, Davis, oh and Josh might take off running too. Kc you had to double Hill, and then get ate up by Kelce... just by him being on the field. His presence alone opens things wide open for everyone else to eat. Diggs is getting single coverage. Two high safeties that we struggled with? Nope, you can't do that anymore. Also, I'm excited about Gabe, but I'm not ready to anoint him a HOF. He had a nice season and should've been starting, but he's still a bit of an unknown.
