Steelers???? Really?!?!
Steelers roster is pretty average outside of Ben, A. Brown, and L. Bell. If you watched the playoff game, they were terrible w/o Bell.
Well they do have Bell and Brown---2 top 5 guys at their positions. They have a great oline. Wheaton and M. Bryant are great young WRs. The D has a young stud in Shazier. The secondary is a bit suspect I'll give you that---but I love that O.

Correct. I'm subtracting the QB.My list of teams with most talent minus QB:
1. Seattle
2. Broncos
3. Packers
4. Colts
5. Texans
6. Cowboys
7. Bills
8. Bengals
9. Steelers
10. Rams
Just to clarify, you're not saying these teams, some of them atleast, are necessarily depleated at QB, just their QB is surrounded by talent, right?
The minute you add QB....some of these teams disappear from my top 10...maybe even 20. Some jump up.
I'll do that...the best teams overall so far:
1. Packers
2. Seattle
3. Colts
4. Broncos
5. Steelers
6. Pats
7. Cowboys
8. Bengals
9. Panthers
10. Chargers
I got the Bills, Lions, Dolphins, Giants, Saints, Texans, Chiefs, Rams, Falcons in the next tier. Pretty much the rest except:
Bottom 5:
1. Jets (not impressed..even if Mariota) edit...I'm removing them and putting Raiders here. Jets will not be bottom 5.
2. Titans
3. 49ers
4. Browns
5. Eagles (I just smell a Chip revolt)

I'd go OL, LB, DB. But would not pass on Garrett Grayson if he's there in Round 3.
-
He's got a big arm. Great athlete. No, not very accurate. Neither is Kaep or Flacco.
I see him maybe as Kaep-lite. Which is good enough for this team.

Rodak couldn't be more wrong.
Yes, in terms of who you pay and what they should make.....this is a gross overpayment.
But it's irrelevant. Bc of supply/demand AND we have the CAP ROOM! His argument doesn't mention that---just nonsense about how "this isn't how smart teams spend money."
Would those "smart" teams happen to have 3 of the greatest QBs of all time....and can replace guys left and right bc of it? Moron. We also have the 'luxury' of not having 20 million locked up in a QB. AND we remain in great cap shape down the road.
But this idiot's argument is--"smart teams don't overpay for a guy like this." Hey Mike....did Phily overpay for THREE RBs? Sproles, Matthews, and now Murray? I thought Chip was a genius? Forget it...I'm rambling...this guy is a moron.

Tyrod Taylor was groomed the way EJ should have been. Great coaches.....backup to a good QB (watch and learn).....great team--strong leaders. Then he takes less money bc he wants to play---Denver wanted him.
I think Taylor is going to win the job with Cassel a close 2nd.

Omar! You mad bro?

Can we get through the freaking draft before we criticize anything about this offseason? Especially considering the things we did and clearly attempted to do but guys took hometown discounts--Bulaga.
If they trade for Mathis. ...if they draft a TE first. Boom. Needs addressed Mike. Idiot.
This clown is flat out trolling Buffalo fans now. I unfollowed the guy bc he's worthless and doesn't tell me anything I can't learn from Graham or Carucci and serious reporters.

So is this what's happening:
Miami is clearly working out with Clay what a long term deal will be.
They know from Clays people what the Bills offer is.
If Miami can't come close to that, there still could be a chance he signs our offer (if we submit) being good with coming here, or Miami matching it.
And, couldn't his people go to Buffalo and say this is what they offered us---will you go beyond that?
-
@AlbertBreer: Miami still wants Charles Clay - coaches envision using him & Jordan Cameron like Pats used to use Hernandez & Gronk.
The Dolphins run a completely different Offense. Not buying this crap leaked by agents.
-
Only way this happens is if Peyton thinks highly of and can land Mariota. That's it.
Any Brees trade that goes down, that will be the scenario.
-
Has to mean Clay is secured
-
@BleacherReport: Darrelle Revis deal with the Jets is $70M over 5 years with $39M fully guaranteed http://t.co/HE8spaMPzMhttp://t.co/l0iHlJAQyp
I think we forced their hand. Good.

"Guards are interchangeable."

I think his contract would suddenly give us major cap issues.
-
Beat me to it!
I'd get him if we could.

Fake account folks

-
But signing Powell then cutting Fred isn't a cap saving move.
It would be a "thanks for your services we're moving to other options" move. And that can't go over well...it just won't.
Don't forget....Roman wants a FB.
FB, McCoy, Boobie, Brown, Fred? Powell?
-
I love this tread
This bears repeating.
Fixed.
-
Yea we're going to need another guard.....2 more actually.
-
-
Lol the worrying about Mariota going the Jets.
Good luck with that Jets.
Good luck with your overpaid 31 year old MLB (calm down on that too people) and your 31 year old downside of his career coming off a punctured lung WR.
Bills making a playoff run next year?

On paper this is the best Bills team since 1999. Why can't Taylor be a Flute type?
So pumped. So freaking excited.
