This is the clearest look yet at Kincaid getting the first -
Sure. He’s absolutely hit on a number of picks specifically Benford, Cook, Spencer Brown, and Shakir. The class of 2017 is why we got to an elite team by 2020 and still are. What is also true is what has cost the Bills a SB between the 2022 - 2024 seasons are the following reasons: 2020: AJE round 2 Zach Moss round 3 Gabe Davis - not worth 2nd contract - sticking with him for 4 years cost us potentially ANY other WR option in the subsequent drafts. 2021: Rousseau and then Boogie Basham in round 2 for some freaking reason 2022: Elam in round 1 2023 - only 6 picks Kincaid round 1 - not good enough 2024: Project WR Keon Bishop round 2 - not a starter Carter round 3 - inactive Compare that to the Chiefs and Eagles. And I know we have Allen. Who wouldn’t want to come to play in Buffalo? I don’t think that’s still the slam dunk people think it is which makes hitting in the draft all the more vital. We had to grossly overpay for Von in a bidding war with Dallas. JJ Watt chose low tax Arizona. Hopkins went to low tax Tennessee. We lucked out on Chandler Jones choosing Vegas.

Some thoughts on why we can't get over the hump
Big Blitz replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is real. My biggest concern - and I said this after 13 seconds. My immediate reaction that night was you have to fire everyone bc this is a loss you don’t overcome. Now, they have. The team has been great since. But it keeps losing to the Chiefs. -
Maybe that’s what the Saints are doing??
-
DAWGS - Torrence making a point to say how Chris Jones is the X factor. Until we find his equivalent we will not win a SB
-
One thing about Worthy before you watch the Eagles shut him down - and let me make sure I’m clear - once Benford left coupled with no Rapp our SECONDARY IS GARBAGE not helped by ZERO PASS RUSH. Beane needs to find dudes on defense.

If Allen turns to run left the blitzing DB can maintain his path and run him down instantly. By Josh going right it forced him to break his blitz path and slow him down. Josh did the right thing per his instincts. Pre snap was the problem

Line was absolutely supposed to slide right Thats on Allen or McGovern

Omg

So I’ll continue to stand by he’s glass.
-
I mean WTH was the right side of the line doing??
-
This is the only moment in that blitz in Allen’s face that came completely untouched - every Chief DB would have reacted to Josh throwing it to Shakir here and he’d have a hard time getting 15 plus Watch the blitz get thru and where Shakir is as it happens - he wouldn’t have been ready for the throw.
-
His strength is the cap and pro personnel evaluation - trading for Douglass, signing Ty and Hollins and McGovern and Edwards. Signing Rapp and getting decent rotational guys on the Dline. Enough to make you a good GM. But he is not good enough with the draft. Below average to bad.

Allen's worse pass of night was to the wrong ref
Big Blitz replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
This effort was not enough. He wasn’t running for that 1st down like his life depended on it. -

He had ZERO chance to get it to Shakir - and watch Shakir on the route - he doesn’t even run it like he’s the 2nd 3rd or 4th option. He ran it like a decoy. I’ve watched it 10 times I’m not sure even if he did Shakir can make the 20 yards (he was 10 behind the line) to get it. -
I just missed him. Add him to the list. He’s a nice weapon. Definitely a top 50 WR in the league.
