So much for the National Weather Service

NC is a worse situation. The governor failed. POTUS failed. They had tracked a hurricane and failed those people. People died. Auto Pen was MIA. This was a storm with much greater unpredictably and hourly if not minute by minute changes. -

They were in a flood watch for over 12 hours. The warnings came out that night. At 5:40 am waters rose over 35 feet over just 90 minutes. Trump cuts did that is legit par for the course disgusting and moronic for the commies. Who in charge at NOAA or wherever is saying DOGE cuts did that? Still waiting on what happened in North Carolina and why President Auto Pen let those 98 people die. -

Hey moron - who is saying those 800 “cuts” (probationary positions and early retirements nationwide) directly impacted the work in South Texas this week. Then explain North Carolina and the 98 deaths that occurred under Biden during their flooding last year. And the bang up job FEMA did ignoring the aftermath. -

Ask this Anti Trump “journalist” what those people allegedly missing could have done to prevent this You can make the argument that there is overkill with storm watches and warnings has led to too many people just ignoring them. That’s an argument made by the Meteorologist below. *NWS Austin/San Antonio had five on staff during the event; normally two would be on duty. Extra staffing was planned before the event started. *This type of flash flooding on the Guadalupe River is nothing new. Similar events happened in 1998, 1978, 1935, and 1921. This year's event was related to deep moisture from a tropical system (Barry) that originated in the East Pacific and made landfall near Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, on June 29. Social scientists will do much research on this in coming months and years. In my opinion one of the primary problems is the high number of false alarms; flash flood warnings that are issued with only minor flooding involved. This is also a problem with tornadoes in many parts of the country. I am very thankful locally NWS Birmingham leads the nation in lowering the false alarm ratio. -

What positions were not filled thus failed in this event? We should know this immediately - that info would be public instantly. “We were down such and such due to positions not being filled.” Where is that info that that is the reason this happened? -

I’m still waiting. You make a claim like that - should be easy to explain to us just refer to your “sources.” Who was cut? -

Yes. And it can happen here. You tell us. He’s running on that. Is he a liar? Being the centerpiece of his campaign, seems like this should be disqualifying. He’s a communist. Why NYC is a disaster. The Democrats that run it. de Blasio was terrible. DOGE it all. You can’t. So the city is F ed anyway. Let’s not use it to prop up the new communist Democrat party in the U.S. More on that below. Fund the police. End restorative justice in the schools. Allow ICE to do its job. Sounds like you should support the tariff regime for this very reason. Venezuela can happen here - but it will take the Courts to become filled with communists. And that starts with the Democrats - that will soon be embracing full on nationalization… We’re extraordinarily close to that. https://www.cfr.org/timeline/venezuelas-chavez-era

“Anti climate change?” The post was a well thought out historically backed with evidence that events like this happen in Texas and gave examples going back 125 years. A disaster like it happens and your sides first instinct is freaking blame Trump. Or cuts to jobs that didn’t happen. How absolutely sick. As to the staffing: -

NEW: NYT’s Lulu Garcia-Navarro *repeatedly* asks NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte anti-Trump questions — he doesn’t bite🚨 RUTTE: "Let's face what is happening: There were 7 or 8 countries in Europe not at 2%. So now it’s 5% — a new benchmark." "Do we really think that we would have been able last week in The Hague to agree to that 5% if Trump would not have been reelected as President of the United States?" "So I think when somebody deserves praise, that praise should be given. And President Trump deserves all the praise." "Because without his leadership, without him being reelected President of the United States, the 2% this year and the 5% in 2035 — we would never, ever, ever have been able to achieve agreement on this." -

Historically, Texas is flood prone. 125 years ago in 1900, before air conditioning even existed, over 8,000 Texans were killed in the Great Galveston Flood. Granted, that was a hurricane related event, but when the ground is already saturated with rain (as it has been over the past several weeks), and then we get a downpour, Texas floods, especially around rivers like the Guadalupe. We saw this with: 1913 Brazos River flood (284 fatalities) 1921 Thrall flood (215 fatalities) 1957 floods (5 fatalities) 1998 south-central Texas floods (31 fatalities) 2015 Texas–Oklahoma flood and tornado outbreak (30 fatalities) 2017 Hurricane Harvey (107 fatalities) -

Yep. This is definitely a ploy to hurt Republican candidates. They’ve been all over Twitter signaling how they can’t wait to vote for this party: All a farce. “Please buy my Teslas again. And, when my companies boom in the next 2-3 years I’ll be distanced from any suspicion or allegation it was because of the administration.”
