  1. Unless it is a Josh Allen scramble, I don't want this team calling another run play the rest of the day. It's a wasted down.
  2. Oliver on fire today..... Need some of that to rub off on our offense.
  3. Playcalling is terrible and the line can't run block. Not great coming off a bye.
  4. I never like taking wins for granted. In the NFL, anything can happen on any given Sunday. But honestly, I will be STUNNED if the Bills lose this game. Heck, even if it is close, it may be cause for a little bit of concern. The offense is averaging over 32 points a game (and, in my opinion, have not played even close to their best game yet). Against the Titans, they scored 31. So, the offense did what they do in that game. Were there missed opportunities? Yes. Should they have scored more? Yes. But the offense put up over 30 points and I don't care who we are playing, if we score over 30, even if it is a struggle to get there, we should win every time. The fact is our defense got our heads kicked in against the Titans. We couldn't stop a nosebleed. For the first time all season, this defense looked outclassed. The thing is, we have a lot of prideful guys on this defense and I know they were embarrassed by what happened last Monday. They will be coming out with something to prove on Sunday and it just so happens it is against the Dolphins. Will be shut them down completely? Probably not. But they should not score more that 17 points. So, all that said, as long as the offense continues to do what they do, we should win this one going away. Could there be some garbage time scores? Sure. But while we are out there actually playing to win, this should not be close. Bills 38, Fins 17 GO BILLS!!!
  5. The game was lost up front on both sides of the ball. I think the coaches made a mistake from changing what was working on the defensive line by benching AJ and Boogie as we couldn't get sustained pressure up front and our O-line is still a work in progress. For the first time since he's gone in, Brown looked like a rookie and, again, as much as I like the guy, Mongo is average at best and Dawkins is still struggling to regain his form on a consistent basis. I would love for Beane to take the Bye week and try to find us an upgrade at LG on the trade market. I think as the season rolls along, Dawkins will get right and Mitch is having a pretty solid year at C. Last night may not have been his best game, but he has been really good all year. Williams is still adjusting at G, but hopefully he will be serviceable there and Brown continues to learn and get better. While he's at it, maybe Bean can get us another CB as well. Wallace has been a little better overall this season, but we can do better there as well.
  6. Dawkins blew it..... Right decision. Right play. Bad execution.
  7. It's a small note in this game, but we really need a better punter. This guy has been terrible all year.
  8. Would have gone for it if I was the Titans. Now it's on the offense to get us up by 11 with a long drive if possible. Take away the threat of Henry and the D can close it out. But the question is whether the O can come up big here when we need it most.
  9. Need the D to force a turnover. They've had a rough game for a lot of reasons, but they need to keep fighting.
  10. That was PI. Never looked for the ball.
  11. Our advantage is in the air. Find a way to protect Allen and let him go to work. Too many times he's having to throw a beat early. Find a way to buy him that extra second and we will score.
  12. If the O-Line can clean up their blocking, we'll win this game by a couple scores. If they don't, it will be closer than it should be.
  13. Score is close, but hopefully it's just because of a couple of plays. There was holding on the Henry run that wasn't called, and we gave them a gift of a TD off of Brown's wiff of a block that resulted in the INT. Add in the fact that we had to settle for FGs instead of TDs on the first few drives and that's why it's close. We just have to clean up the blocking up front and we'll be fine. We're moving the ball, but we have to finish drives off with TDs. If we can come out early in the 2nd half and go up by a couple scores, I think we'll be fine.
  14. Not sure if I am remembering this right, but I am pretty sure he wasn't 100% at his pro day and his council actually told him not to run because they knew he wouldn't run his best but he insisted and ran anyway. I think he later said that the best time he ever ran was 4.29, but was a mid 4.3 guy consistently. The only reason I remember this is because I was put on to him in the draft before it started because I was hoping the Bills would draft a speed guy late in the draft and he was said to be the one to watch and, sure enough, he was the pick. I am not sure he is a 4.2 guy, but my guess is that he is probably the fastest guy on the team. That all said, I am not sure he helps us this year at all. Hoping he takes what he's learning this year and applies himself over the summer to come back and compete for a spot next season. But who knows. Nobody has seen him a long time. We don't really know where he is at.
  15. We didn't have 1 bad player on the field tonight. Even if guys got beat on a play or 2, they more than made up for it at some point in the game. This was a true "team" win. Everyone deserves a game ball. All that said, Groot needs to see more snaps going forward. The man is an absolute beast and is squarely in the Defensive Rookie of the Year conversation. In fact, the conversation should start with him at this point. He's exactly what this D-Line has been missing. But yeah......everyone did their part. This was a complete team effort. As complete a game in all 3 phases as you could ask for. Was it perfect? No. Still some things to clean up, but those things will be there in every game. The biggest thing is coming out with the "W", though.
  16. I came into this game not having a real feel for what was going to happen and, in a way, thinking that while a win would be sweet, this is still all about the Playoffs and doing it there. I still feel this way, but man......aside from the refs and the commentary, this was an enjoyable night. Enjoy this. Focus on next Monday and get another W heading into the Bye.
  17. He's had great drives in his career. This was his best. Defining moment. That is who Josh Allen is. Ballgame.
  18. THE HURDLE IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!
  19. WHERE THE HELL IS THE HOLD???????????
  20. It's not even about the yardage. Many of them kept KC on the field instead of us taking over.
  21. Kelce flops..... Flag.....
  22. That is PI!!!! Every freaking ref call/no call is going KC's way
  23. We just need 2 or 3 first downs on every remaining possession and it's a wrap. Not starting well, though.
  24. We lose this game, that is the play that turned it.
