The defense gave up a few huge plays because of missed tackles on the edge. And the offense really stunk. But it wasn't all bad. It will be forgotten because of the way the rest of the game went, but man......the defensive line, particularly Groot and Floyd, were monsters out there. I can't wait until Miller is back and joins them. They were unblockable at times and it was nice to see. Hopefully they keep building on tonight.

It's definitely trending in that direction. Now, the defense was not terrible for the most part tonight and the line played well. But there were a couple of crucial missed tackles that led to huge plays against us and cost us points. But he wimped out on 4th and 2 early in the game and his OC had perhaps the worst possible game plan against this team. It's a long season and there's a ton of games left to figure it out, but there is a lot to get corrected, especially on offense.

No excuse required. He stunk in the 2nd half. On to next week. Long season and it's about playing your best at the end of the year. Eat this and move on.

I know he's banged up, and he's got a tough matchup, but McGovern has been awful.

Tre not having a good tackling night.

I said going into this game that the weakness of the Jets are the LBs in coverage over the middle of the field. You can count on a couple of fingers how much we have tested that part of the field. Kincaid and Knox should have double the targets they do. That's on Dorsey.

Nice series for the D. Outside of that last throw, I have been OK with the way Allen has played, but it's time to settle down a bit. Diggs should be the first read because he is HIM. But if he is not one on one, he should be immediately looking for Kincaid. Dude is open and basically 10 yards + guaranteed. Stop with the delayed hand-off that is putting us behind the sticks as well. Not good on 3rd down right now.

Defense isn't playing terrible, but these handful of big plays are killers.

Not only are we getting nothing out of the MLB position, but it is a major liability. Made a nice tackle on that last play, but we need more. Need to figure out something there. Now find a way to get off the field only giving up 3!

I like the fact that Allen was a lot more patient than he was at the end of last season and taking the check down quite a bit. He has a couple catches already, but Kincaid could be a bigger factor in the 2nd half. He's been open, and has turned up field on both his catches. He's getting open underneath. Feed him and force them out of the Cover 2.

Frustrating finish to that drive. But, the good news is that we have a 2 score lead on the road against a good defense at the half and we haven't played our best yet. Hopefully we can get things turned around at the half and come out and finish these drives with TDs instead of FGs in the 2nd half. We're moving the ball OK, but we need more out of the offense in the 2nd. And, as bad as the defense has been on a few plays, only giving up 3 is good stuff. We'll take only giving up 3 in the 2nd half too.

Tre needs to make that tackle. Ugh. Should have been a 1 yard gain. Instead it is 83.

Just like a punt......fine. Couldn't tell if he had enough room to take off and run for it, though. If he did, he should have. But the play calling to this point hasn't been great. Not a fan of the game plan so far.
