  1. Dorian Williams has his warts, but he plays fast......
  2. Hopefully Allen tanked his baseline test on purpose so it's easier for him to clear. HA! No....in all seriousness, I just hope he's OK.
  3. Just out of curiosity, I headed over to Spotrac to check out who is taking up the most cap space. Some interesting names and numbers. Outside of Allen, here are our biggest current cap hits: #1 Diggs - $30 million and not even playing for us. He literally has the same cap hit this year that Allen does. #5 Dawson Knox - Making TE1 money but us nowhere to be found on the field #6 Tyler Bass - No.....I'm not joking. Sixth highest 2024 cap hit on the team #8 Kair Elam - No.....I'm not joking. Eighth highest 2024 cap hit on the team #10 Curtis Samuel - One of the biggest FA busts of the entire off season After Kincaid at #12, you have to go all the way to #18 to find another skill player and that name is Mack Hollins. I don't think it is a stretch to see where a lot of the blame for this inept offense needs to go. To not have 2 great WRs on this list tells you all you need to know about the construction of this offensive roster. Beane and the front office have handicapped Allen and this offense in a big way.
  4. Look.....Allen is off today so far. BUT This is way bigger than Josh Allen. This is an overall lack of talent problem. Our WRs STINK. Outside of Shakir, we have nobody that can get open. Samuel has been an embarrassment. Coleman can't separate (every ball he catches is contested). Hollins is awful. MVS is a waste of money. There is absolutely nobody on this team, outside of Allen that any team fears. Cook is a fine player, but teams are not game planning for him out of fear. Kincaid is an amazing talent that Brady has no idea how to use. To me, this goes a lot deeper than the players. This is on Beane and the front office. All of us could see this coming. They didn't. Yes, Allen is great. Maybe the best out there. But he still needs talent to make plays for him. I mean, look no further than the other sideline. Collins is maybe the best WR in the league and that still wasn't good enough for them. Their WR corps runs 4-5 deep. Stroud is a good QB. Maybe even a great QB. Regardless, that team knew that you have to play to your strength and surrounded him with great weapons. Not only is the WR group one of the best in the league, but the RB room is solid too. They're hurt today (thank God, because we would be getting beat even worse than we are), but they do have talent there. We are just outclassed on every level on offense against most teams outside of QB. Beane needs to do something. I know he is limited due to the cap, but we need a WR1 and a WR2. Shakir is a great slot option and Coleman will make a great 4th WR. But he needs 2 starting WRs because they are not on this team. We have no speed and no downfield passing game. Everything is within 10 yards of the LOS. That should never happen when Josh Allen is your QB.
  5. Beane should be on the phone this entire halftime working trades for not just 1 WR, but 2.
  6. Glad they kept their TOs to take them on defense instead of challenging a play that may have kept a drive going.
  7. Ugh........... That's a TD if that ball is 1 yard deeper. But those are the routes Kincaid should be running. Nobody is getting open consistently. Gotta hit them when they are there. And, right on cue.....Smiley's trash special teams makes one of their trademark blunders. This is just going great.......
  8. Like I said, I am not sure he would have won the challenge, but you can't take your TOs with you. You have all 3. Worst case is that you lose 1 there. Best case is you get to keep the ball. The reward greatly outweighed the risk there. Not sure what Parry saw that we didn't that he didn't think it was at least worth trying there.
  9. I'm not sure he would have won the challenge, but man, I think I would have taken the chance there.
  10. Everything we do on offense is within 10 yards of the LOS. That should never happen when Allen is your QB. This man deserves to have some real NFL WRs around him.
  11. "Fumbled the basketball" And we are supposed to trust these guys with calling penalties. They don't even know what sport we are playing.
  12. Whelp..... No safety there. What is Bishop doing there? He's just looking into the backfield and letting Collins run right by him! He has one job. Stay over the top and don't let that happen. Poor coaching and poor play.
  13. We have great boundary corners and some of the worst safety play in the league. We have nobody big enough up front to stop the run. We have no pass rush to speak of. Nobody can get off blocks. Nobody can tackle. Sounds like a great recipe on defense.
  14. Absolutely pathetic defense......
  15. 1st and goal from the 9 and you end up at the 20. Just awful play calling. Allen should have been under center on first down as that was the perfect spot for PA. Then go from there. Instead you put yourself in a hole and just dig it deeper with a terrible screen call and a penalty. Just an awful sequence.
  16. Perfect spot for PA here...... EDIT..... Someday Brady will call it when he should....
  17. That was a dime by Allen...... That was all on a terribly un-athletic WR.
  18. That was one of the most un-athletic plays by a WR I have ever seen......
  19. If this happens, it will only only show how corrupt the league is. You can't have someone that is on IR and not playing anyway serve a suspension while he is out. If the league allows this, it's time to bring out the pitchforks. Until they take him off of IR and clear him to play, he should not be allowed to start serving his suspension.
  20. Nick Underhill @nick_underhill The Saints waived WR AT Perry, per source. I don't know who this guy is, and I haven't seen it from anyone else yet, but if it's true, this is interesting. On a side note, I like Perry and would happy if the Bills claimed him if he has indeed been released.
  21. Look, I don't think there is a chance in the world we land him. And that's OK. However, the fact that they are at least inquiring and are aware we are in desperate need of a WR1 is a great thing. Whether we find one to trade for during the season or not, at least we know that they know WR1 is not on this team and it will hopefully be a priority going forward. I am not sure what other top end WRs are available. There may be none. But at least we know Beane is looking.
  22. Obviously, we have no idea what this pertains to. Hopefully it isn't anything new. It definitely stinks, but hey.....hopefully Javon Solomon gets some reps and experience. Who knows, maybe he can even make a couple of plays for us. Until we find out what this pertains to, I am not going to say too much about any potential favoritism going on. Until he got hurt, though, Rice and Hunt were playing on the same team. There's also another former Chief out there that hasn't gotten suspended for anything either that some might argue should have been..... I'm not sayin'.....I'm just sayin'.....
  23. It is still way early to tell what this offense is. 2 out of the first 4 games we blew a team out so bad that started running the clock out in the 3rd quarter. So, you can't really glean anything from those. Against Arizona, we got down early but ended up scoring over 30, so you can't really complain there either. And the Ravens game was a butt whipping from the start. For the first time all season, our offensive line got manhandled and Allen had someone in his face on virtually every snap. And, getting behind so early obviously caused some changes to how we were going to have to play the game. Look.....I am a huge fan of Kincaid. I think he can truly be the next great one. But, where he excels is down the field. He is a mismatch in the seams and on deep crossers. Unfortunately, we haven't seen much of that yet this season. Some of that has been due to score effects and the way these games have played out. Some I am sure have to do with the design of the offense. But, I think the biggest reason he is not getting the ball is the lack of a true WR1. Say what you want about Diggs. He wasn't a perfect player. But, when he was on the field, teams always shaded coverage his way which opened up opportunities for Kincaid. Right now, teams know we have nobody that will beat them on the outside consistently. In fact, teams know that Kincaid is probably our best offensive pass catcher. So, what does that do? You guessed it.......it puts a lot more attention on Kincaid than he would have if you have a WR1. The "Everybody Eats" mentality is all fine and well when you are playing against the average NFL defenses. When you are playing good teams, though, you can't underestimate what having that WR1 does for your team. Even if he has a down game, he is still drawing that extra attention away from other parts of the field. You need that and we will be looking for that guy this off season as well. We have to. Regardless, though, I am not sure these first 4 games have given us a true chance to judge his usage with the way they have played out. We need more from him and he should be the focal part of our offense. But so far, he either hasn't had that chance due to circumstances in game and sometimes, a lack of focus on him in the game plan by Brady. We need to get him more involved, though. He's too talented to not be getting 70+ yards a game.
