Broncos @ Bills - Playoff game day thread (2nd half)

Dumb call to make in this situation. But in the end, it probably hurts Denver more because the time comes off the clock...... -

It was close..... Regardless, though, that is what I expected when we drafted Kincaid. Down the field mismatch. Gotta use him more that way. -

It's a technique issue. I mean, these guys are selling out to make a play which is very admirable, but we need to stay healthy. But I love the sacrifice they are willing to give to make a play. -

Von has been great today. Missed sack aside, he is affecting the QB and it has made a difference. -

I mean, you can give up a TD......but make them take 6 minutes off the clock to do it! -

Not much to roast in this game. He's been good. But if you want me to say he's been terrible, I will. -

Yup. For the first time all season, a WR created real separation. -

SAMUEL FINALLY MAKES THE BIG PLAY. Hopefully this is the start of a big playoffs for him. Don't need him to do a ton. Just needs to make a couple big plays a game. -

Had the perfect chance to hit them with a big play action on first down there. I like a lot of what Brady does, but it is an absolute crime that he doesn't use more play action in this offense. Allen is one of the best QBs in the league with it and we rarely use it. -

Nice play by Hamlin and Bernard there. Both had perfect depth and spacing. Great return by Shakir as well. Now's the time to go get a TD and put most of the nails in the coffin. -

Denver starting to get dirty out there....... Play hard and protect yourself after the play. -

Big conversion there. Game of inches. We have seen that many times in this game so far. This is normally where the defense takes their foot off the gas and give up a TD drive. Fully expecting it to happen again until they prove me wrong. -

It was a bad play call. It was a miraculous play. Both can be true. -

Called a TD on the field. To me and everyone watching, it's clearly a TD. That's why it will be ruled incomplete. -

That probably was a miss, but it almost looked like Allen was expecting Coleman to angle more upfield. Tough either way. -

Bad ball by Josh there followed by a dirty hit. Hope he's OK. Go score a TD and give him the ball. -

We've left a ton of points on the field today (through some of our own doing and some of the refs). Can't afford to do that any longer. Need to take control of this game. -

Why does our special teams coordinator still have a job? He is an absolute embarrassment to coaching. -
Which team are you most scared of in the playoffs?
sven233 replied to margolbe's topic in The Stadium Wall
The answer to this question has been the same since 13 seconds........ The Bills. Until we prove that we can play great defense consistently, and the coaches don't make critical mistakes with time management or situational football, I will be most scared of beating ourselves. You will never convince me otherwise that we shouldn't have won the Super Bowl already at some point in the last 4-5 seasons. We have had the talent to do it. We have had an offense that has left the field WINNING the game multiple times only to have McDermott, his staff, special teams, and the defense cough it up needing 1 last stop. So yeah.....I fear no team except for this one. There are great teams out there for sure. But, there is every year and we have shown that we can hold our own in every one of those games until we make a crucial mistake in crunch time. McDermott preaches about learning from mistakes that are made. To this point, we haven't seen a postseason where some of those same mistakes rear their ugly heads at the worst time. If we play our best football, and stay healthy (which we haven't been able to do for an entire playoff run), I truly believe we can win it all because we have the best player on the planet playing QB for us. We might not have the most talented team in the playoffs, but I truly believe, at our best, no team plays together as a team collective, better than we do. It's time to do it. GO BILLS!
