  1. Yea the line has got better as the year has gone on so that isn't a shock. Particularly Torrence who was dreadful early (he was very clearly not in shape for week 1) but has rounded into form nicely. He isn't an elite guard or anything but we are getting decent play from him. He was a liability some of those first few games.
  2. Another strawman. Because nobody has said that either.
  3. He did. But I don't think he completed the possession. That might have been playcall related but I think he went out again.
  4. I don't disagree with any of that. That is what an elite Quarterback does. But he wasn't the only guy out there who was exceptional today for the Bills, and I am not talking about Ty freaking Johnson.
  5. Yea he did. Came in I think played 2 or 3 plays and left again.
  6. Josh certainly helps the sack numbers. I don,'t think 13 sacks is all the oline. But tonight especially there were some excellent OLine displays. Spencer Brown was all worldly tonight.
  7. They ran some stunts today. Particularly 4th Qrtr. But they can't expect to win four playoff games playing the way they are on defense. No chance.
  8. Every time? Seriously? Of course it happens. But it isn't close to every time. The OL is playing legitimately well. Especially in pass pro. EDIT: on the receiving weapons I don't really disagree. The Bills do not have top talent there and the receivers are not making a ton of amazing plays for Josh. Althought the Knox catch was one.
  9. No I get that. But I'd have been fuming if the Lions recovered and scored. Because it was clearly a foul.
  10. No. People are not incredulous that there is any criticism. That is a complete strawman. There is lots still to criticise. You can't give up the points the Bills have given up the past two weeks. You can't miss a chip shot field goal. You can't risk some of the clock stuff at the end. That is still different than "entirely Josh Allen." Josh is incredible. He is the best football player on the planet. We are only Superbowl contenders because we have Josh Allen. But other players made critical plays in the game tonight.
  11. I think Allen is the only one too - certainly on 2024 form. Mahomes at his best, sure. That is different from saying it is entirely him. He is the main reason we won. He is the main reason we win most of the time. That is what being an elite NFL QB is. But there are at least 2 or 3 other guys tonight who played incredible games and an OC who called a brilliant game that I don't think we win without, even with Josh's brilliance.
  12. Yep. This. They totally gave up even trying to run it after going 3 and out to start the third. Goff made play after play after play. He is perennially underrated IMO. He isn't Josh Allen. No question there. But swap them and the Bills are still a playoff team with Goff IMO. They are just not a team with a shot at a Superbowl.
  13. The best OC tonight was Joe Brady. Johnson called a really good game. But Brady's was even better.
  14. The Bills would have lost if you swap the QBs. I don't think they lose by 40 points. Two scores? Sure. Three? Maybe.
  15. Correct. Brown was incredible. There were some of the usual suspects who said when he signed the contract "he'd have to become the best right tackle in football to deserve that." Well don't look now, but he is playing like the best right tackle in football. We need to see it sustain before I say he IS that. But he is sure as hell playing like it right now.
  16. How many times did he do that tonight? I think the first drive was 90% Josh Allen. There were a couple of other plays here and there too. But there were a TON of plays out there tonight that were coaching wins. I haven't seen Josh throw to as many open guys all year.
  17. It is definitely concerning. It is the worst defense of the McDermott era. I thought last week was a bit more on coaching than talent. I thought this week was a bit more on talent than coaching. It's a combination of both and I don't know what the fix is.
  18. The Bills wouldn't have lost by 100 with Goff today. Goff played great. Does he have a better supporting cast? Yea. The Lions rebuilt with a load of top 10 picks still on rookie deals they are in the prime window of when they are supposed to be talented. Josh is incredible. He is the best player in football. But he is not out there playing on his own.
  19. I believe so yes. Certain yardage away from the kicker I believe.
  20. While I agree didn't like Babich's playcalling so much from there... being down to a fella who has been on the PS all year at safety and a guy who we know can't cover at linebacker by the 4th quartet didn't help.
  21. This, is undisputable. That is not the same as it being "entirely Josh Allen."
  22. Not allowed anymore.
  23. That isn't the same thing as "it's all Josh Allen." Josh is the best player in the league right now, no question about it. He is the biggest reason the Bills are 11-3 and no way they win today without him. But that does not mean today was "all him." There were other players who made important plays and an OC who called a really excellent game and dismissing them just because of Josh's greatness isn't accurate.
  24. That should have been a flag. The Lion hit Taron before the ball travelled 10 yards and got to him. I know it was bang, bang and that is hard for the officials to see, but definitely should have been a flag.
  25. I agree, neither of those were great calls. I put the 2nd one more on the Head Coach there. He has to say "no more passes." But overall his play calling and play design was excellent. Great mix of pasd to run and I can't remember a game basically all year where Josh threw so many balls to open guys.
