  1. 1) Sopranos 2) Dream Team 3) Desperate Housewives 4) Vegas 5) Lost
  2. For some reason, back in 1994, the NFL relaxed the restriction for the SF 49ers There were wearing their throwbacks that had white pants, rather than the burnished gold, and even wore them in the Super Bowl win over San Diego. They also wore them for mostly all games after they premiered ... Everyone in SF and the team liked them alot, but i don't know what reason that was given for the NFL to ease the restriction ... LoL .. I remember that, and those funny looking bowling socks the BRONCOS wore. I really got a kick out of their old logo with the funny eyes on the bucking bronco. BRONCOS '66 Throwback Helmet
  3. The BILLS don't have a throwback uniform with a white jersey. From what I've heard, the NFL limits all teams to only 1 throwback/alternate jersey
  4. Both clubs throwback jerseys are blue ... they'd clash Neither club has a throwback with a white jersey Bills at Chargers is 20th November, and Chargers ARE scheduled to wear theirs for that game .. Click here regarding throwback/alternates
  5. Unfortunately, the NFL/No Fun League limits you to 2 games that you can wear them
  6. Aye ... I saw that too The thing I don't understand is them going with Mark Brunell, who's in the total twilight of his career, and has declined big-time since his JAG days ... Yikes !
  7. They're NOT Royal Blue, they're Medium Blue. The Royal is brighter. Match the Royal Blue jersey from the 90s next to the '65 throwback from yesterday and you'll quickly see the difference ...
  8. Don't see how we can be wearing them in San Diego. The CHARGERS will be wearing their powder blue throwbacks for that game ... The BILLS do not have a throwback in a white jersey, as all clubs are limited to having only 1 alternate/throwback jersey from what I've heard. Our throwback blue would clash with San Diego's blue. It's not official yet as to which other game we'll wear them, but we could very well end up wearing them at New England, as the PATRIOTS alternate jersey is gray.
  9. Tuesday at 11:30 am PT ... I'll be watchin' that one on TV ... Too bad you lot couldn't get Owen back, he don't look right in a barcode shirt ... £16m + for Owen, has Fat Freddy gone mad ?
  10. They already did ... it's over, England won ...
  11. Our new navy 'duds' are crap. I can tolerate the home version, but not with the navy pants too. The road jersey is the one that I really dislike with all that navy blue on the shoulders. Blue on blue makes the players look too slow, and that's a college-look, not professional. We have totally gone away from tradition, and yesterday was a true reminder of that. The black shoes with the 1965 look was outstanding. With blue pants for road games that would be the ultimate uniform. I for one really miss that white helmet. You don't see great clubs in sports make such major overhauls in their uniforms, only slight tweaks over the years. Eg, Yankees, Dodgers, Red Sox, Raiders, Steelers, etc ... Some that have made that error realized it and went back to their originals Eg, Jets, Giants, etc That shade of blue worn yesterday is not royal, and I love the way it looked. No overdosing of particular colors, everything was quite balanced. Just like when I was a boy and saw them play at the Rockpile the very first time. I guarantee any of you that if there was a poll taken, where we were all limited to just 1 vote, the throwback look of yesterday would win in a landslide ..
  12. Are any of these radio stations that are being spoke of in that thread available in the internet with live broadcast/streaming (listen live) ?
  13. I doubt very much that any of us die-hards really paid deep attention to that game since in was on opposite of ours, I sure as hell didn't ... We have a horrible record against Tampa Bay down there no matter the quality of the teams they've fielded, especially losing to them by a 10-5 score in 1988 shortly after we clinched the division at home to the NY JETS in OT. That loss to them cost us Home Field advantage throughout the playoffs and we paid dearly for it by having to play the BENGALS in Cincinnati in the AFC Championship Game when we could've had them at RICH .. We lost of course, and the BENGALS went to the Super Bowl against the 49ers ...
  14. Your Peerless Price avatar makes me giggle : The 'Jokemans' looks more like the one you describe, but here's a few other choices too, try going here, it's pink w/ white numbers : BIILS Jerseys for Women You can also get help by phoning toll free : 1-888-283-4327
  15. I feel the same way as you about those two, but before I had a chance of thinking about muting it, the redition of it started and it sounded damn good, as was great seeing players and fans reactions as it was being sung. Today was a good day to feel patriotic, and the two of them can definitely sing.
  16. Quite true mate, but he was only with us for 1 season, and that was 1969.
  17. Preceding our game, I got goose bumps during the singing of 'America the Beautiful' done in 'Ray Charles' like melody, from the REDSKINS game ... wow !
  18. Okay, not bad ... now tell us this : Was that game played at our old Rockpile, or Fenway Park in Boston ?
  19. You sir, are talking some serious BILLS history here ... Twas a 45 yard TD pass if I know my stuff, but who it was against I just can't answer ..
  20. Stop it you guys, yer givin' me goosebumps !!! Who's it gonna be next, Preston Ridlehuber or Haven Moses ?
  21. Make sure you catch it on replay after the Sunday Nite Game. Chris Berman was in his fine witty form by calling out BILLS players names from the 60's during the highlites cuz of the throwback uni's. Made me giggle alot ..
  22. Which one, the '46 version when we were the BISONS, or perhaps the '47, '48, or '49 BILLS version from our AAFC days ? * taps foot *
  23. No teams had flags on their helmets back in 1965. They wanted the throwbacks to have the complete look of 1965. That's why there was no flag on the helmet, and it didn't say 'BILLS' on that rubber insert on the back of the helmet at the bottom ... The jersey, pants, helmet, and socks were 100% replica's of 1965, the 40th anniversary of the AFL Champion BILLS .. The only thing different I believe were the black shoes, which looked awesome ! I wouldn't of changed the look of today for anything ...
