  1. What is exactly wrong with the knee?? Same one as originally had the proceedure on. Anyone telling-chronic injury, arthritic, fluid or what- anyone telling when it happened?
  2. Whoever does the ordering of the gloves, today is free shipping over the internet, but I thought he has a knee problem, not a hand problem.
  3. Be thankful he is only wearing 1 glove. Did!nt OJ wear 2.
  4. All the QBs that did!nt start and even sat for a year or two learned. Who is teaching EJ-Jeff Tuel and Thad Lewis or a QB coach who never played the position and who moonlights as a QB coach while concentrating on his OC job. One rookie teaching another. Please.
  5. I do not think people want to see EJ fail. But after 14 years does!nt everybody want a franchise QB. I believe drafting another QB, because we need to try again even though this organization does!nt have a clue. Explain why Matt Flynn did!nt get 1 play while in Buffalo, while he was good enough to beat the Cowboys Sunday. It is because the Packers are controlled by Football people whose focus is winning, while the Bills are controlled by money, business, computer(analytic) people who focus on making money-for the Wilson family. If EJ has shown he is the guy for the next 10 years and a SB QB we would be happy. We want him to be that guy, we don!t want to see him fail, but when he has not shown he can be that guy, then try again with someone else.
  6. To call Sanchez a bust is not reality. First two years in the league led his teams to playoff wins. He has got killed by the media in NY for a while. All he needs is a change of scenery. Let the Bills bring him in and have him compete against EJ and EJ would be holding a clipboard all year. 105.0 against maybe the worse team in the league in a meaningless game. What are you thinking.
  7. This is the same knee that he had the problem on first. I asked this before but no one has a answer. What was wrong with the knee originaly? Was he drafted with a bad knee? Marrone said he knew but was not telling. Why is it such a big secret? No transparency. Even our GM did not know about one of his players last weekend but Ron Brooks knew.
  8. I have not read the other 67 comments on this thread, but the lst one told it like it is, and what is worse is what if the players don!t care either. What if they want to protect their bodies and their contracts in these meaningless games A lot of people have said the team has improved this year, and is on the upswing. Who once said, you can fool some of the people all of the time, but not all of the people some of the time.
  9. Teach him better footwork and arm angles with him under center rather than in the shotgun, and stop with the 7 yard passing plays. You would not learn to be a top violin player, from someone who is a drum player, and then if he can!t cut it dump him and try again in the draft. Don!t keep him around another two years. Swallow the pride and move on.
  10. EJ has lost his confidence which is such a big thing for QBs. They don!t make it to this level without huge egos and the confidence that goes with it. How can he have confidence knowing he is on a losing team, and losing organization. EJ was not very good in Tampa, but the OL and receivers did!nt help. Someone mentionted about a good QB Coach. We may have the worst in the league. Trying to do jobs at once, never playing the position. The QB he developed(?) at Syracuse may never get on the field in the NFL. This is the big leagues. Syracuse and the rest of the NCAA are in the development league or the minor leagues for the NFL. You want a QB Coach pick one who done the job at this level, not your rookie head coach buddy from college and maybe our QB can learn to improve; maybe.
  11. Informative but sad article, tough to read all the way through. Some players make more in a year than a lot of 9-5 people there entire life, but there is a trade off what it does to their bodies. I recall opening weekend the Bills vs. Pats, a Pats receiver had a groin injury and could hardly walk off the feild at halftime, yet 20 minutes later came back out and could have gone immediately on Dancing With The Stars. He even helped beat the Bills. Reminded me a a series a few years back on ESPN that I believed the NFL had cancelled after one season. Even though players choose to abuse their bodies in the sport, and and a microcosm of what goes on in society, it is still sad but true.
  12. Last weekend the NFL set a record for touchdowns with 90 or so. 31 teams scored touchdowns. Can anyone guess which team did not? Having said that I see this week Coach Marrone has given QB a vote of confidence with the words going to be-----. Thats great and he should be confident of EJ going foreward, but what I don!t get is him saying they will simplify the offense for EJ. Should!nt it be the opposite and let him throw the ball all over the field to see what he can do without him being restrained. Let him audible whenever he sees something, but if after over 500 plays this year, and who knows how many in college and high school, he has to make it easier for him to run the offense, then I think there is a problem. Would!nt coaching help him? We have a QB Coach and a head Coach who never played the position and who now are in the big leagues. I think Jim Kelly could teach EJ more in a month than anyone else on the Bills staff could in a year. Just saying.
  13. Mr. Wawrow, It is so simple, it!s funny. The3 buck has to stop somewhere. You can blame all the underlings you want and you are right, but who picked the GM, who picked the person underneath, etc., etc. You sound like a PR flack for Mr. Wilson. Whose fault are the problems with Obamacare? You can put the blame on a pencil pusher or computer hack, but since Mr. Wilson can!t or won!t accept responsibility for this mess, you be big enough to do it for him, since you are a apologist for him.
  14. There should have to be decisions made about this after the season. One idea is to draft another QB and finally hope to hit the jackpot, and bring in a proven veteran QB who fell out of favor with his team(and I mean someone who has led his team to the playoffs like Schaub or Sanchez)and with EJ let the 3 of them compete to be the man next year and maybe 2 of them can learn something from the veteran since obviously EJ has not learned from a ex LB/Long Snapper. EJ has been in the shotgun all year;Rich Gannon believes rookie QBs learn more from being under Center rather than the shotgun. Just saying.
  15. I thought he was on theSupreme Court and decieded some famous case about soda pop sold at a Bills game.
  16. Whos mocking. Just asked a question I had no answer for since that was a big thing on Hacketts bio. Did!nt know you knew it all, know where to go now for answers.
  17. Do you really think any top notch coach would go near the Bills after Gm Bill Polian got run off, and if you believe Marrone is one of the top paid coaches in the NFL, then you believe in Santa Claus, and the US Congress. I lost all respect for Marrone in the pre-season when he was asked about EJs knee and procedure and he said he knew but wasn!t telling. Did EJ have a problem with his knee before he was drafted or did he hurt it while trying to pass the soup at dinner and he missed the table and fell.
  18. Thanks for the info No Saint, on Bills Daily it did not have a QB coach listed. In seeing his Bio on Buffalobills.com it looks like something you can find if looking for a date on Facebook or Twitter-a combination of Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and then if you meet-------you get the idea. It seems his college career was a letterman as a LB and long snapper. It does not say how much he played or what his QB coaching ability was to get the Syracuse position as TE/QB/ Passing Game Coach in 2010 which made him a great candidate to be a QB Coach at a losing NFL team. Could you please explain to me what a Quality Control Coach does? What does he Control and good Quality or bad Quality?
  19. If Hackett is the QB coach he should be listed as so, and I guess then he is holding 2 positions to save on organizational salary, although explain to me what his credentials are, maybe like his NFL playoff record as a QB.
  20. You are right, the goal is not winning. The goal is to make money for the Wilson family which the last public accounting I saw was worth over $13 Billion. If the Bills win that is a plus for them because it adds to their bankroll. All you are going to get out of Brandon, Whaley and Marrone is what they want you to know. Marrone talked after the game Sunday about improvements in the team and they had a bad game. This is a bad football team, a 3-9 team, and they can say what they want but we don!t have to believe them. I still remember back in the pre-season when he was asked about the problem with EJs knee and what the proceedure was and he said he knew but was!nt telling. Marrone is a corporate guy who will do what he is told, although it probably won!t save him after his 3 year contract is up.
  21. If you remember before the season started Kevin Kolb was to be the man, and to mentor EJ. He got hurt and then EJ recovered from his knee procedure, so Tuel was not needed opening day. Thats when a one time proven NFL QB should have been brought in and kept maybe not to be the starter but at least have EJ watch, listen and learn the position. I!m sure one would have available from a Practice Squad, CFL,Arena League, NFL Europe or stocking products at WalMart. So for the first 13 weeks who has been helping or teaching EJ? Thad Lewis, Tuel? I mean why do we have Quality Control Coaches LB Coaches DB Coaches a OL Coach a WR Coach a TE Coach a DL Coach a RB Coach a ST CO a OC a DC but as far as I know no QB Coach. I know the Jets have David Lee a QB Coach and Dave Gerrard who has not played in 4 years as a mentor to Geno Smith. Why do the Bills have a RB Coach- to teach Fred Jackson?
  22. Saying we had things go wrong for us----and it all at once in this game and talking about the improvements they!ve made is different than saying we are a bad football team, unless you are the few who think we are not.
  23. Maybe if so few people go to the Miami game they will get the message, because nothing else has worked for 14 years, but on second thought maybe that woul!nt work either
  24. Why are we fed the same nonsense by management including Marrone and certain players on the press conferences. We should all be tired of hearing how we did!t play good, we are disapointed, and promising how better we are going to be. Don!t these guys realize they are insulting the intelligence of their fan base, the people who (help) pay their salary Can!t just for once the Coach just say we are a bad football team now and will try and get better, and leave it at that. What is the worse that can happen to Marrone with over 2 years left on his contract? Getting fired today? That would!nt happen, but if it did he would collect his money and then get another job in football. Like most of our previous coaches I believe he is a nice guy and this mess is not all on him or EJ, as he inherited these players but if getting beat 2 weeks in a row by 3-9 teams, makes us a real bad football with no answers on how to get better, just say what we all know.
