  1. This. it was obvious where the ball was going.
  2. Gilmore injured. Maybe a blessing in disguise.
  3. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/q-buffalo-bulls-lb-khalil-mack-170100233--ncaaf.html INTERVIEWER: It's obviously way too early to even speculate, but there are people out there who do it, so let's talk about it -- I've seen a few mock drafts that have you going to the Bills. KM: [Laughs] Man … that would be a miracle. But I've seen it. I thought Steve [Means] was going to get picked by the Bills, for sure. And then you have Naaman, who went to the Bills as an undrafted free agent. I've seen it. It would be a lot of fun and definitely a blessing.
  4. http://nickelcitybills.com/ great website too.
  5. It wouldn't surprise me if 2 or 3 of those 5 are yes, phenomenally better rookies than EJ. This is a good QB draft class.
  6. A sick and twisted part of me wants to see him tear it up if only to reinforce my own disbelief in the Bill's FO judgement. It's the same sick and twisted part of me that morbidly wishes to see Geno Smith throw the game winning TD to David Nelson. I think I'm just a bad person.
  7. Am I wrong? I mean, surely Hackett has heard of a screen play. But for some reason it is almost as if he has never watched the Chan offense game tape. Does he not understand how to gameplan for two dual threat RBs that benefit from running in space, not to mention a subpar QB who can't sling the ball around to save his life? Seriously, we have run a screen play concept under 10 times this season.
  8. because he has never heard of that concept.
  9. Born in WNY. Father a Bills fan. It's that simple really. Under no other circumstances would I ever choose to be a fan of this franchise, but I was born into it --- and that's how I assume most of us are.
  10. Our DL has the tendency to play down to their opponents level, unfortunately! Hopefully they bring their game.
  11. This. I'm mostly concerned with everyone's optimism that EJ will lead us to salvation. Yes he was better than Thad with a lot of room to grow, but what if he doesn't improve? What if he just spins his wheels and we're no better off than we were before? If EJ is not our franchise QB, and we don't draft one in 2014, this will be a long 3 years. edit: I should note that I'm not trying to be pessimistic, I like EJ and hope he bring it.
  12. First of all, how is it nothing? Racial epithets and threats of violence? Secondly, it's not like Martin was trying to make this a big deal. It seems like he'd been bottling it up, still showing up on sundays, and taking the abuse for some time now. Eventually, enough was enough.
  13. Nice playcalling --- seriously! Mix it up.
  14. Nothing is wrong with Hackett's playcalling. Nothing! /s
  15. And it's not Lewis' fault they called a play action on an obvious blitz.
  16. The ability to sustain drives is most important to me, and that seems to be what Hackett has had trouble with. Other than the Miami game, the time of possession has been woefully out of our favor. This, I believe has less to do with a hurry up offense but rather the inability to string together consecutive first downs resulting in a score. This is as much an indictment of play-calling as it is consistency of execution. But seriously, it wouldn't hurt to throw in a few more screens, spread the offense out, and keep a few different looks out there.
  17. what is it, 2002? moorman is best performer on the team.
  18. Strength and conditioning? We are getting manhandled.
  19. Going for it was the right call. Though you would have liked to see the play action on 1st down.
