This Harty Tweet makes me wonder if they are actually going to activate Shorter.

Definitely---Josh is #9 in QB knockdowns, tied for 5th in QB hurries and tied for 34th in time in the pocket.
Almost any other QB behind this line would be taking a much bigger beating. Josh makes them look pretty good.
He also holds the ball longer than anyone.

Main rooting interests this weekend:
Bills
Ravens
Seahawks
Chiefs
(Bills win + Seahawks & Chiefs win = Bills clinch playoff spot)
(Bills win + Ravens win = week 18 is for the division & possible 2 seed)
Other rooting interests:
Raiders
Titans
Chargers
Panthers
Panthers are just as important as Chiefs and Seahawks. We just need any two of those to win for us to clinch- with our win of course.

If Ravens beat Miami, which is likely and what everyone here is cheering for, then Ravens clinch #1 seed and rest starters week 18 vs Pittsburgh and Steelers win out so if the Bills don't beat Miami they are out.
It's not nearly that simple. If the Bills beat NE and lose to MIA, and PIT wins out BUF still has a 67% chance to make it.

I see almost no chance the Steelers win their last two. The Mason Rudolph story is the same each time. Comes in, cuts it loose and puts up some yards in his first outing, then it all crumbles around him and those yards turn into picks. But you are right it isn't totally home and hosed yet.
Ravens may not be playing week 18

When healthy they still have the best interior oline in the NFL, including the best center and future HOF in Creed Humphrey.
That's why both KC and MIA were going undefeated this year!!!

Roster at 53 now. Wonder who will get released of/when they activate DaQuan Jones
It's really hard to go though the roster and pick someone out. Maybe Ifedi but I'm not sure they want to mess with the OL room.
And they still have Phillips coming back probably in the postseason, if they win a game. Really speaks to the roster depth.

After he went 4-11-1 and refused to fire his oc. That's a far cry from anything McD has done.
Everytime this comes up I ask which year did the Bills lose in the playoffs with the better team? There isn't one.
Allen is one of the top 3 qbs in the league. The Bills have only lost to the other 2 top guys.
At least 1 guy in the thread is being honest. He hasnt moved past 13 seconds. I feel everyone who wants him fired is in the same boat.
Yep, and the Bills were never the best team in the conference. Not sure when they were "expected" to win one.
And this is year 4 with "elite" Josh as everyone likes to count every year as if he came into the league this way.

Please stop saying..." it's their Superbowl this week"...every time a bad team plays the Bills.
You always circle that 9-6 team on the schedule!

THe topic here is McDermott as a HC and not the DC
I don't understand the point.
When discussing Reid, McDaniel's, Shanahan, etc. you certainly factor in offensive scheme which they are responsible for. Same goes for McD and his D, which has been very good this year in the face of many devastating injuries.

Here is the problem, Philly canned Reid despite 4 NFCC appearances and 1 of those a superbowl, because they knew they weren't going to win one with him. They were right.
Many of us feel the same about McDermott.
LOL, that is absolutely impossible to know.

And an up and coming TE.
And another TE that catches a lot of TD passes to go along with an all of a sudden top OL.
Anyone arguing this point is clinging to their prior opinion.

Dude you forgot to mention Kyren Williams who imo is the 2nd best back rn behind CMC
He's comparing the SB winning Rams team, not this year

I mean if we worry this scenario is possible I’m stunned at the people scoffing at the idea of finishing 10-7 not getting us in (a greater then 50 percent chance we don’t.)
Per NYT, if we win the next two and drop the MIA game we still have a 61% chance of securing a wild card.

That Indy game I’m watching closely
need atl to win that - I see Indy as a problem for a wildcard spot for us
I think if it comes down to the wild card for us the most likely scenario is making it in with both CLE and IND. In this scenario we just need to beat out HOU, DEN, and CIN. I don’t think PIT is a factor.

I didn't see the press conference but from the reports I saw Hyde was the only one ruled out and AJ himself said he'd likely be a game time decision.
I am assuming he won't play but the fact that he's saying that and he's questionable makes me think back next week.
McD didn't state it in the beginning like the others. But when asked specifically about him later he said he didn't expect AJE to play.
1 minute ago, balln said:weird. That shorter practices in full. But is OUT. And kaiir practice in full and is QUESTIONABLE.
so weird
The decision on them is if they want to activate them. And then they we need to make another roster move.

Jones and AJ both being questionable is a huge W. Looks like they'll both be back by NE and than hopefully close to full go for Miami or playoffs.
Weird. In McD's presser today he said AJE wouldn't be playing.

Everytime the fans and media want to bury Tomlinson, he finds a way to win a big game. With Cincy losing Reader and Chase last week, I give the Steelers a decent chance to go into Cincy and pull off the upset.
I mean the spread is 2. It's basically a toss up

If I'm not mistaken, CLE can still technically win that division
It's possible but not likely. But even in that scenario BAL is clearly a WC. Better to knock down HOU, IND, CIN, and DEN IMO

Only the Ravens, IMO.
I think we take care of anyone else in the field.
